Abstract

This invention provides a connector and an assembly having the same. The connector assembly includes the connector and a board. The con-nector can be locked on the board. The connector has a project portion and a fixed receptacle, the receptacle can receive a mating connector and the project portion can be received in the same mating connector. the project portion and the fixed receptacle form a narrow space to limit the mating connector's waving. The feature of the invention is adding a fixed receptacle to ensure the connector mating stably.
