In a backlight module, after a film is mounted to a back panel and is confined in X-direction and Y-direction, an outer frame is further mounted to the film to confine the film in Z-direction so as to prevent mura of the film during transportation or shock test. The film includes a protrusion, which has a closed opening, in its long side, and the frame includes a bulge extending along Z-direction and located corresponding to the protrusion. The bulge extends into the closed opening to confine the long side of the film in Z-direction.
