Abstract

An electrical connector for electrically connecting an IC module to a printed circuit board comprises an insulated housing, a plurality of contacts received in the insulated housing and a pick-up cap located on the insulated housing. The insulated housing has a loading face and a projection on a sidewall thereof, the pick-up cap sets against the loading face and defines a recess receiving the projection of the insulated housing. The electrical connector in accordance with present application has a simple construction and easy assembly.
