Abstract

Disclosed is an electronic apparatus for providing item-related information and a method thereof. According to the present disclosure, provided is an interface by which a selection for an item and an order type is received from a customer terminal, a payment method may be selected in the customer terminal for an order of an item requiring periodical payment, and whether to pay in advance using points may be selected.

Electronic device and method for providing information about an item, and computer-readable non-transitory recording medium

The present invention relates to an electronic device and method for providing information related to items on e-commerce services.

As the use of the Internet becomes more widespread, the e-commerce market is expanding. As a result, the types of products traded on e-commerce services are rapidly diversifying, and the transaction amounts are also growing exponentially.

In addition, the types of orders by users of e-commerce services are also gradually diversifying. For example, in the past, a one-time price was paid when simply purchasing an item for sale, but recently, rental fees are paid in installments by dividing the price and paying it monthly or by renting an item. Therefore, orders in the form of periodic payments are increasing.

Therefore, in order to make it easier and more convenient for users of e-commerce services to use recurring payments, it is necessary to provide a user-friendly interface that reflects the various requirements that may arise in connection with recurring payments.

In this regard, reference may be made to prior art, such as KR101656055B1 and KR102102956B1.

The present invention is proposed to solve the problem, and its purpose is to provide a method for providing an interface for selecting a payment method and whether to use points to prepay an order for an item that requires regular payment to a customer terminal, and an electronic device using the method.

In addition, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for providing an interface tool set for displaying an estimated cost of periodic payment of an order for an item requiring periodic payment and an interface tool set for displaying an estimated cost of immediate payment on a page to a client terminal and an electronic device using the method.

In addition, the object of the present invention is to provide a method for providing a client terminal with an interface for identifying a contract related to an order for goods in an in-application method and executing an electronic signature on the order, and an electronic device using the method.

In addition, the present invention aims to provide a method for providing a client terminal with an interface for changing various periodic payment information associated with a completed order using periodic payment and an electronic device using the method.

The technical problems to be solved by the present invention are not limited to the technical problems described above, and other technical problems can be inferred from the example implementation examples described below.

According to one aspect, a method for providing information related to an item in an electronic device is provided, which includes: receiving first selection information about an item to be ordered and an order type of the item from a client terminal using a service; identifying whether the order for the item requires a periodic payment based on the first selection information; and when the ordering of the item requires the periodic payment, providing a first page to the client terminal, the first page including an interface for selecting a payment method for the order and whether to use points for prepayment.

According to an example embodiment, in the prepayment using the points, if the points existing in a customer account accessing the service through the customer terminal are equal to or greater than the periodic payment fee according to the order, the periodic payment can be made using only the points, and if the points are less than the periodic payment fee, the points can be used first, but the difference between the periodic payment fee and the points can be made by using a preselected payment method.

According to an example embodiment, the interface included in the first page may include at least one type of control among a check box, an option button, a selection box, and a drop-down box, and the control may be used to select a payment method or prepayment.

According to an example embodiment, the first page may further include a first estimated fee interface tool set displaying estimated fees for periodic payments based on the order and a second estimated fee interface tool set displaying estimated fees for immediate payments of the order.

According to an example embodiment, the first estimated fee interface tool set can display the estimated fee for periodic payment calculated based on the base fee and discount information of the order and the periodic payment cycle according to the order.

According to an example embodiment, the second estimated fee interface tool set can display the estimated fee for immediate payment and the estimated fee for the first periodic payment calculated based on the subscription fee of the order.

According to an example embodiment, the method for providing information related to an item may further include: receiving a confirmation request for a contract related to the order from the client terminal; providing a second page to the client terminal, the second page including a call to action (CTA) object for the contract and contract processing; and when the CTA object is selected on the second page, providing a third page to the client terminal, the third page including a line for an electronic signature for the order and a CTA object for contract completion.

According to an example embodiment, the second page may further include an interface for receiving a response from the client terminal indicating that the content of the contract is confirmed and agreed to, the interface included in the second page may be in an inactive state when the response is not received or when the response is canceled after receiving the response, and may be in an active state when the response is received, and the CTA object used for the contract processing may be in an inactive state in which the client terminal cannot make a selection when the interface included in the second page is in an inactive state, and may be in an active state in which the client terminal can make a selection when the interface included in the second page is in an active state.

According to an example embodiment, the method for providing item-related information may further include: receiving an input of an electronic signature in a field for an electronic signature from the client terminal and a selection of a CTA object for completing the contract; completing the contract for the order and generating contract information associated with the order and signature information associated with the electronic signature; and associating the contract information with the signature information, and storing the contract information and the signature information in a database connected to a server providing the service.

According to an example embodiment, the method for providing information related to an item may further include: after the order is completed, receiving a request from the client terminal to read a fourth page, on which periodic payment information based on the completed order is displayed; providing the fourth page to the client terminal; receiving a request to change the periodic payment information from the client terminal through the fourth page; and providing the client terminal with a fifth page including an interface through which the periodic payment information can be changed to new periodic payment information to be applied to the next periodic payment.

According to an example embodiment, the periodic payment information may include a payment method according to the completed order, a periodic payment date, and whether to use the points for prepayment as detailed information, and the interface included in the fifth page may be used to separately change each of the detailed information included in the periodic payment information.

According to another aspect, an electronic device for providing information related to an item is provided, comprising: a transceiver; a memory for storing instructions; and a processor, wherein the processor connected to the transceiver and the memory is configured to: receive first selection information about an item to be ordered and an order type of the item from a client terminal using a service; identify whether the order for the item requires a periodic payment based on the first selection information; and when the ordering of the item requires the periodic payment, provide the client terminal with a first page, the first page including an interface for selecting a payment method for the order and whether to use points for prepayment.

According to the example implementation, by providing customers with stable and multi-scenario regular payment subscription services and simple item sales intermediary within e-commerce services, a trust relationship between a service provider and a customer can be established, and the service provider's capabilities as a platform can be expanded.

Specifically, by providing a customer with an interface that allows him/her to select a payment method for an order to make regular payments and prepay using points, the electronic device for providing item-related information according to the example embodiment allows the customer to enjoy a payment environment in which various methods of payment can be included, including points.

Furthermore, by separately displaying the estimated cost of the periodic payment and the estimated cost of the immediate payment when ordering an item that uses periodic payment, the electronic device for providing item-related information according to the example embodiment can prevent customers from confusing the cost to be paid immediately and the cost to be paid later.

Furthermore, by providing a customer with an interface that allows him/her to view a contract related to his/her order in an in-application manner and to perform an electronic signature on his/her order, the electronic device for providing item-related information according to the example embodiment can allow the customer to complete the order without leaving the order processing page or using an application outside of the service.

The terms used in the examples are selected as currently widely used general terms as much as possible when considering the functions in the present invention. FIG. 1 is a schematic configuration diagram of a system for providing item-related information according to an example embodiment.

Referring to FIG. 1 , a system 100 for providing information related to an item may include an electronic device 110 and a client terminal 120, and according to an example embodiment, may further include a lender terminal 130 and a seller terminal 140. In addition, a person skilled in the art of the example embodiment may understand that in addition to the components shown in FIG. 1 , other general components may also be further included.

The electronic device 110, the client terminal 120, the lender terminal 130 and the seller terminal 140 can communicate with each other in a network 150.

The electronic device 110 can provide a platform for an e-commerce service. Specifically, the electronic device 110 can provide an application for an e-commerce service to the client terminal 120, and can provide an e-commerce service through the client terminal 120 connected to the electronic device 110 by executing a corresponding application. Through the e-commerce service, not only information related to an item registered on the service can be provided, but also a rental service and a sales service for each item can be provided. Therefore, in the present invention, the "service for providing information related to items" provided by the electronic device 110 can be included in the e-commerce service. In addition, the electronic device 110 can be included in the server that provides a service for providing information related to items.

In this regard, an application provided by the electronic device 110 is installed in the client terminal 120, and some calculations for the service of providing item-related information may be processed by the client terminal 120, and the remainder may be driven to be processed by a server outside the client terminal 120.

According to a further example embodiment, in order to allow a customer to complete an order without leaving the order processing page or using an application outside of the service, the electronic device 110 may provide an interface to the customer terminal 120, through which a contract associated with the order of the item can be identified and an electronic signature can be performed on the order in an in-application manner.

The client terminal 120 is a terminal for accessing the e-commerce service provided by the electronic device 110, and the client terminal 120 can query, search or view various items registered in a rental or saleable state through a user interface on the e-commerce service, and can transmit an inquiry or an order for at least some of the items to the electronic device 110.

In the present invention, a series of selections of services by the client terminal 120 can be made by the client selecting a specific area or a specific graphic object on the display of the client terminal 120, or by the client terminal 120 recognizing the client's voice command, gesture command, gaze, and the like. Specifically, a selection on the display can be made through various hardware (such as a touch or an input through a stylus) or another software.

The lender terminal 130 can transmit the information required for the rental of a desired item to the electronic device 110, and can receive various requests related to the rental of the item from the client terminal 120 through the electronic device 110, and manage the rental of the item.

The seller terminal 140 can transmit the information required for selling the desired item to the electronic device 110, and can receive various requests related to the sale of the item from the customer terminal 120 through the electronic device 110, and manage the sale of the item.

According to an example embodiment, the lender terminal 130 and the seller terminal 140 can directly transmit the information required for the rental or sale of the item to the electronic device 110 through the network 150, but the information can be transmitted to a server including the electronic device 110 or a server separated from the electronic device 110. Wireless communication is, for example, wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, ZigBee, WFD (Wi-Fi Direct), Ultra Wideband (UWB), Infrared Data Association (IrDA) and Near Field Communication (NFC), but is not limited thereto.

FIG. 2 is a flow chart illustrating a method for providing information by an electronic device according to an example embodiment.

In other words, when the client responds through the client terminal 120 that he/she confirms the contents of the contract and agrees to the contract, the electronic device 110 may restrict the progress of the contract, and in this way, the electronic device 110 may prevent a situation in which the client ignores the contents of the contract and suffers damage by continuing to proceed with the contract.

According to an example embodiment, the interface additionally included in the second page may include at least one control of either a check box or an option button. In this case, a response indicating that the content of the contract has been confirmed and the contract has been reached may be made by the client selecting (e.g., clicking) a control in the interface through the client terminal 120.

In operation S206, the electronic device 110 may receive a selection of a CTA object on the second page from the client terminal 120.

In operation S207, in response to receiving a selection of the CTA object on the second page, the electronic device 110 may provide a third page to the client terminal 120, the third page including a line for an electronic signature for ordering an item and a CTA object for completing the contract.

According to an example embodiment, the electronic device 110 may provide the third page in a pop-up format on a layer having a priority over a layer providing the second page. In this case, the third page may overlap at least a portion of the second page.

According to an example embodiment, when the third page is provided in the form of a pop-up window overlapping at least a portion of the second page, the electronic device 110 can adjust the saturation or brightness of the area of the second page that does not overlap with the third page. For example, when the third page is provided, the electronic device 110 reduces the brightness of an area of the second page that does not overlap with the third page, so that the customer can pay more attention to the third page rather than the second page.

In operation S208, the electronic device 110 may receive an electronic signature input from the client terminal 120 in a field for an electronic signature on the third page, and may receive a selection of a CTA object for completing the contract.

According to an example embodiment, the electronic device 110 can receive an electronic signature by the client giving a signature through a default input device in a field for an electronic signature displayed on a display of the client terminal 120.

According to another example embodiment, the electronic device 110 may receive an electronic signature entered by the client uploading an image file of the signature to a field for an electronic signature displayed on a display of the client terminal 120.

The two embodiments described above are exemplary, and in addition to them, the electronic device 110 can also receive an electronic signature through various other means.

In operation S209, when the electronic device 110 receives the electronic signature input from the client terminal 120 and receives the selection of the CTA object for completing the contract, the electronic device 110 can complete the contract of the order and can generate contract information related to the order and signature information related to the electronic signature.

According to an example embodiment, the contract information generated by the electronic device 110 may include a contract date, a contract time, the contract parties, and at least some of the contract information based on the content of the contract. However, it is exemplary. In addition to the above, the contract information may further include additional information.

"A database connected to the server providing a service" may be a database stored in the storage space of the server providing a service, or may be a database stored in a separate storage space outside the server providing a service.

According to an example embodiment, the electronic device 110 may associate the contract information with the signature information by generating a single table defining a matching relationship between the contract information and the signature information.

FIG3 is a flow chart illustrating a method for providing information by an electronic device according to an additional exemplary embodiment.

Specifically, when the electronic device 110 performs the operations of FIG. 2 described above, the operations of FIG. 3 may be performed after the customer order for the item is completed. It is assumed that the customer's order has been completed for each operation of FIG. 3, and it is not necessarily assumed in advance that all or some of the operations of FIG. 2 are performed to complete the order.

Referring to FIG. 7 , according to an example embodiment, the fifth page 700 may include an interface 710 for displaying the currently set payment method, an interface 720 for displaying the currently set regular payment date, and an interface 730 for displaying whether to use the current points for prepayment. According to the content shown in FIG. 7 , the customer's current payment method is OO card, the regular payment date is the 10th of each month, and it is set to use points for prepayment.

According to an example embodiment, each of the interfaces 710, 720, and 730 included in the fifth page 700 may include a graphic object for entering a page for changing each detailed information in addition to displaying the detailed information of the current setting.

For example, when an arrow-shaped graphic object located on the right side of the interface 710 for displaying a payment method is selected through the client terminal 120, the electronic device 110 may provide a page for changing the payment method to the client terminal 120, as shown in FIG8. In this regard, referring to FIG8, on the page 800 for changing the payment method, service cash, account transfer/deposit without a passbook, credit/debit card, mobile phone, etc. may be displayed as payment method options. The currently selected payment method 810 corresponds to an OO card of a credit/debit card, but the customer can change the payment method by only selecting an option button located on the left side of each option through the client terminal 120 and selecting a CTA object 820 corresponding to the selection completion.

The currently selected periodic payment date is the 10th of each month, but the customer can change the payment method by simply selecting the desired periodic payment date from the periodic payment date options provided when the list box 910 is selected and selecting the CTA object 920 corresponding to the selection completion.

Referring back to FIG. 7 , according to another example embodiment, in addition to displaying the currently set detailed information, each of the interfaces 710, 720, and 730 included in the fifth page 700 may include a control for changing each detailed information. For example, when a two-state trigger switch located on the right side of the interface 730 indicating whether to use points for prepayment is activated through the client terminal 120, the electronic device 110 may be set to prioritize the use of points for payment when the corresponding customer places an order using periodic payment.

However, the types of detailed information or interfaces shown in FIGS. 7 to 9 are exemplary. In addition to the above, the fifth page 700, the page 800 for changing the payment method, and the page 900 for changing the periodic payment date may also be composed of a combination of various information and interfaces.

FIG. 10 is a block diagram showing an electronic device for providing information related to an item according to an example embodiment.

According to an example embodiment, the electronic device 110 may include a transceiver 111, a processor 113, and a memory 115. The electronic device 110 may be connected to the client terminal 120, the lender terminal 130, the seller terminal 140, and other external devices through the transceiver 111, and may exchange data.

The processor 113 can execute at least one of the methods described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 9. The memory 115 can store information for executing at least one of the methods described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 9 (registration information of a target item, first detailed item information, rental item identification information, second detailed item information, sales item identification information, promotion information, rental order information, profile information of an account for accessing services, order history information of an account for accessing services, rental guidance information, purchase guidance information, FAQ information, object-related information, response information to FAQ, customer review information, etc.). The memory 115 may be a volatile memory or a non-volatile memory.

The processor 113 may execute a program and control the electronic device 110 to provide information. The program code of the program executed by the processor 113 may be stored in the memory 115.

The processor 113 connected to the transceiver 111 and the memory 115 can receive first selection information about an item to be ordered and the order type of the item from the client terminal 120 using the service, and determine whether the order of the item requires regular payment based on the first selection information. When the ordered item requires regular payment, the processor 113 can provide a first page to the client terminal 120, and the first page includes an interface for selecting a payment method for an order and whether to use points for prepayment.

In addition, the electronic device 110 according to an example embodiment may further include an interface that can provide information to a user.

In the electronic device 110 shown in FIG. 10 , only components related to the present embodiment are shown. Therefore, a person skilled in the art in the relevant field of the present invention can understand that in addition to the components shown in FIG. 10 , other general components may also be further included.

The electronic device according to the example embodiment described above may include a processor, a memory for storing and executing program data, a permanent storage (such as a disk drive) and a user interface device (such as a communication port, a touch panel, a key and a button) for communicating with an external device. The method implemented as a software module or algorithm can be stored in a computer-readable recording medium as a computer-readable program code or program instruction that can be executed on the processor. Here, the computer-readable recording medium includes a magnetic storage medium (such as ROM, RAM, floppy disk and hard disk) and an optically readable medium (such as CD-ROM and DVD). Computer-readable recording media can be distributed among network-connected computer systems so that computer-readable program code can be stored and executed in a distributed manner. The media can be read by a computer, stored in a memory, and executed on a processor.

Example embodiments may be represented by functional block components and various processing steps. Functional blocks may be implemented by any number of hardware and/or software configurations that perform a particular function. For example, an example embodiment may employ integrated circuit configurations such as memory, processing, logic, and lookup tables that may perform various functions by controlling one or more microprocessors or other control devices. Claims (13)

A method for providing information related to an item in an electronic device, comprising: receiving first selection information about an item to be ordered and an order type of the item from a client terminal using a service; identifying whether the order of the item requires a periodic payment based on the first selection information; when the order of the item requires the periodic payment, providing a first page to the client terminal, the first page including a selection for selecting a payment method for the order and whether to use point-of-sale payment; an interface for prepaying a certain amount of money; receiving a confirmation request for a contract related to the order from the client terminal; providing a second page to the client terminal, the second page including the contract and a call to action (CTA) object for contract processing; and when the CTA object is selected on the second page, providing a third page to the client terminal, the third page including a field for an electronic signature of the order and a CTA object for contract completion. As in the method of claim 1, in the prepayment using the points, if the points existing in a customer account accessing the service through the customer terminal are equal to or greater than the periodic payment fee under the order, only the points are used for the periodic payment, and if the points are less than the periodic payment fee, the points are used first, but the difference between the periodic payment fee and the points is made by using a preselected payment method. The method of claim 1, wherein the interface included in the first page includes at least one type of control in a check box, an option button, a selection box, and a drop-down box, and the control is used to select the payment method or whether to make the prepayment. The method of claim 1, wherein the first page further comprises a first estimated fee interface tool set displaying estimated fees for periodic payments based on the order and a second estimated fee interface tool set displaying estimated fees for immediate payments of the order. The method of claim 4, wherein the first estimated fee interface tool set displays the estimated fee for periodic payments calculated based on the base fee and discount information of the order and the periodic payment cycle according to the order. The method of claim 4, wherein the second estimated fee interface tool set displays the estimated fee for immediate payment and the estimated fee for the first periodic payment calculated based on the membership fee of the order. The method of claim 1, wherein the second page further includes an interface for receiving a response from the client terminal indicating that the content of the contract is confirmed and agreed, wherein the interface included in the second page is in an inactive state when the response is not received or when the response is canceled after receiving the response, and is in an active state when the response is received, and wherein the CTA object used for the contract processing is in an inactive state in which the client terminal cannot make a selection when the interface included in the second page is in an inactive state, and is in an active state in which the client terminal can make a selection when the interface included in the second page is in an active state. The method of claim 1, wherein the third page is provided in a pop-up format on a layer having a priority over a layer providing the second page. The method of claim 1 further comprises: receiving an input of an electronic signature in the field for the electronic signature from the client terminal and a selection of a CTA object for completing the contract; completing the contract for the order and generating contract information associated with the order and signature information associated with the electronic signature; and associating the contract information with the signature information, and storing the contract information and the signature information in a database connected to a server providing the service. The method of claim 1 further comprises: after the order is completed, receiving a request from the client terminal to read a fourth page, displaying the periodic payment information based on the completed order on the fourth page; providing the fourth page to the client terminal; receiving a request to change the periodic payment information from the client terminal through the fourth page; and providing the client terminal with a fifth page including an interface, through which the periodic payment information can be changed to new periodic payment information to be applied to the next periodic payment. The method of claim 10, wherein the periodic payment information includes a payment method according to the completed order, a periodic payment date, and whether to use the points for a prepayment as detailed information, and the interface included in the fifth page can separately change each of the detailed information included in the periodic payment information. A computer-readable non-transitory recording medium recording a program for executing a method as described in any one of claims 1 to 11 on a computer. An electronic device for providing information related to an item, comprising: a transceiver, a memory for storing instructions, and a processor, wherein the processor connected to the transceiver and the memory is configured to: receive first selection information about an item to be ordered and an order type of the item from a client terminal using a service; identify whether the order of the item requires a periodic payment based on the first selection information; and when the ordering of the item requires the periodic payment, provide a first page to the client terminal, the first page containing An interface for selecting a payment method for the order and whether to use points for prepayment; receiving a confirmation request for a contract related to the order from the client terminal; providing a second page to the client terminal, the second page including the contract and a call to action (CTA) object for contract processing; and when the CTA object is selected on the second page, providing a third page to the client terminal, the third page including a field for an electronic signature of the order and a CTA object for contract completion.
