Abstract

According to the present disclosure, there is provided a method of managing item gifting information by an electronic apparatus providing a service, the method including checking information about an item in response to first input information input of a user who uses an item gifting, checking whether gifting of the item is available based on characteristic information of the item in response to second input information of the user to present the item to a recipient, and when gifting of the item is available, providing a payment information page including a first region to which first information about the recipient is input and a second region to which second information for configuring that the recipient can select receiving points usable in the service in exchange for the item according to an input of the recipient is input.

Description

Operation method of electronic device for managing item gift information and electronic device supporting the operation method

The present invention relates to a method for managing gift information and an electronic device for use in the method, and more particularly, to a method for providing a user with information associated with a gift item of the user that allows the user to determine whether to provide a recipient of the gift item with an option to receive points usable in a service to redeem a gift item, and an electronic device for use in the method.

With the development of electronic technology, e-commerce has become a shopping field. Customers can buy items online without going to a shopping mall or market in person. Items purchased online are delivered to the delivery destination requested by the customer.

In the case of e-commerce, providing detailed and accurate information about products has a significant impact on customer satisfaction with a service. Therefore, various methods for providing customers with more detailed and accurate information are discussed.

In this regard, relevant technical documents such as KR 101756594B1, KR101500849B1 and similar may be incorporated by reference.

According to a method of the present invention, an electronic device can provide a user with information associated with a gift item of the user that allows the user to determine whether to provide a recipient of the gift item with an option to receive points usable in a service to redeem the gift item.

The technical objectives to be achieved in the present invention are not limited to the technical objectives described above, and those familiar with this technology will clearly understand other technical objectives not mentioned in this article from the following description.

Each exemplary embodiment may provide a method for operating an electronic device for managing information and an electronic device supporting the method.

According to various exemplary embodiments, a method for managing information about item gifting by an electronic device providing a service is provided, the method comprising: in response to first input information of a user using an item gifting, viewing information about an item; in response to second input information of the user giving the item to a recipient, checking whether the gifting of the item is available based on characteristic information of the item; and when the gifting of the item is available, providing a payment information page, the payment information page comprising a first area for inputting first information about the recipient and a second area for inputting second information for configuring that the recipient can choose to receive points available in the service to redeem the item according to an input of the recipient.

In an exemplary embodiment, the method may further include, in response to the first input information, providing an item detail page including information about the item, purchase icon information for purchasing the item, and gift icon information for gifting the item.

In an exemplary embodiment, the checking whether the item gift is available may include responding to the third input information corresponding to the gift icon information and checking whether the item gift is available based on the characteristic information of the item.

In an exemplary embodiment, the checking whether the item gift is available may include: displaying an order information viewing area in response to the fourth input information corresponding to the purchase icon information; and checking whether the item gift is available based on the fifth input information corresponding to an item gift setting area provided through the order information viewing area.

In an exemplary embodiment, in response to the fifth input information, a purchase icon displayed in the order information viewing area may disappear and a gift icon may be displayed.

In an exemplary embodiment, guidance information associated with the second information may be displayed above the gift icon information on the item details page.

In one exemplary embodiment, the second area may be included in the payment information page when a price of the item is equal to or less than a configured amount.

In an exemplary embodiment, the method may further include: when a payment for the gift item is completed, providing the recipient with information associated with the receipt of the gift item.

In an exemplary embodiment, the method may further include: when the activation of receiving the equal points to redeem the item is configured based on the second information, providing the recipient with an input area where the recipient can choose to receive the item or receive the equal points to redeem the item.

In an exemplary embodiment, the method may further include: when the recipient selects the receipt of the item, providing at least one of the user and the recipient with information about the delivery destination of the item.

In an exemplary embodiment, the method may further include: when the recipient selects the receipt of the equal points to redeem the item, providing the user with information indicating that the recipient selects the receipt of the equal points to redeem the item.

In an exemplary embodiment, the method may further include: when the recipient selects the receipt of the points to redeem the item, providing the recipient with purchase suggestion information about an item corresponding to the amount of the points.

In an exemplary embodiment, when the activation of receiving the points to redeem the item is configured based on the second information, a payment option for paying for the item is restricted.

In one exemplary embodiment, the amount of the points is determined based on the amount actually paid by the user.

According to various exemplary embodiments, an electronic device for managing information on item gifting is provided, the electronic device comprising a processor and one or more memories storing one or more instructions. When the one or more instructions are executed, the processor is controlled to execute: in response to first input information of a user using an item gifting, information about an item is checked; in response to second input information of the user giving the item to a recipient, whether the gifting of the item is available based on the characteristic information of the item; and when the gifting of the item is available, a payment information page is provided, the payment information page comprising a first area for inputting first information about the recipient and a second area for inputting second information for configuring that the recipient can choose to receive points available in the service to redeem the item according to an input of the recipient.

According to various exemplary embodiments, an electronic device for outputting item gifting information is provided. The electronic device includes a processor and one or more memories storing one or more instructions. The one or more instructions, when executed, control the processor to perform: transmitting first input information associated with an item of a user using an item gift to a server device; receiving information about the item from the server device in response to the first input information; transmitting second input information of the user gifting the item to a recipient to the server device; when the gifting of the item is feasible, receiving a payment information page from the server device in response to the second input information, the payment information page including a first area for inputting first information about the recipient and a second area for inputting second information for configuring that the recipient can choose to receive points available in the service to redeem the item based on an input of the recipient; and outputting the payment information page.

The various exemplary embodiments of the present invention described above are only some of the preferred exemplary embodiments of the present invention. Those skilled in the art will understand that various exemplary embodiments reflecting the technical features of the various exemplary embodiments of the present invention can be derived based on the detailed description below.

The present invention has the following technical effects: by providing a method for using an electronic device to allow a user to select information about whether to provide an option to a recipient for the recipient to receive points that can be used in a service to redeem a gift item, the convenience of providing a gift to the user can be improved, thereby enhancing the satisfaction of the recipient associated with receiving a gift.

The present invention has the following technical effects: by proposing a method of using an electronic device to provide a recipient of a gift item with an interface tool set capable of setting information about a delivery destination in a service, a recipient can receive a gift more easily and prevent the occurrence of erroneous delivery.

In addition, the present invention has the following technical effects: it can promote the management of a gift item and enhance the satisfaction of the user and the recipient by proposing a method of providing an option to a user through an electronic device for the user to select the packaging of a gift item.

FIG. 1 is a diagram of an information management system for explaining an operation method of an electronic device that can be applied to manage information according to various exemplary embodiments.

Referring to FIG. 1 , according to various exemplary embodiments, the information management system may be implemented using different types of electronic devices. For example, the information management system may be implemented using a server device 100 and a user device 200. In other words, each of the server device 100 and the user device 200 may perform operations according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention based on an information management system implemented in each device. However, according to various exemplary embodiments, the information management system is not limited to the search information providing system shown in FIG. 1 , but may be implemented using various other types of electronic devices and servers.

According to various exemplary embodiments, the server device 100 may be a device that can communicate with a plurality of user devices 200 in a wired and wireless manner and includes a large-capacity storage. For example, the server device 100 may be a cloud device that combines a plurality of user devices 200.

According to various exemplary embodiments, the user device 200 may be a device that can be used by an individual user, such as a desktop personal computer (PC), a tablet PC, a mobile terminal, or the like. In addition, other electronic devices that perform the same functions as above may also be used as the user device 200.

According to various exemplary embodiments, the information management system may include various operation modules. The modules included in the information management system may be computer program codes or one or more instructions that are implemented so that a physical device (e.g., server device 100 and user device 200) constituting the information management system (or contained in the physical device) executes an operation assigned to it. In other words, in the physical device constituting the information management system, a plurality of modules may be stored in a memory in the form of computer program codes. When the plurality of modules stored in the memory are executed by a computer, they may be configured so that the physical device executes the assigned operations corresponding to the plurality of modules.

FIG. 2 is a diagram showing the configuration of a server device and a user device according to various exemplary embodiments.

Referring to FIG. 2 , each of the server device 100 and the user device 200 may include an input/output portion 210, a communication portion 220, a storage 230, and a processor 240.

The input/output portion 210 may be a different type of interface, a different type of port, or the like that receives a user input or outputs information to a user. The input/output portion 210 may include an input module and an output module. The input module receives user input. The user input may have various forms of input (including key input, touch input, and voice input). Examples of input modules that can receive this user input may include a traditional keypad or keyboard, a mouse, and a touch sensor that senses a user touch, a microphone that receives an audio signal, a camera that recognizes a gesture or the like through image recognition, a proximity sensor that senses the approach of a user including at least one of an illumination sensor or an infrared sensor, a motion sensor that recognizes a user's motion through an acceleration sensor or a gyroscope sensor, and various forms of input components that sense or input various forms of user input, and according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the input module may include at least one of the devices listed above. Here, the touch sensor may be implemented by a piezoelectric or capacitive touch sensor that senses touch via a touch panel or a touch film attached to a display panel, an optical touch sensor that senses touch by an optical method, or the like. In addition, the input module may be implemented in the form of an input interface (USB port, PS/2 port, or the like) connected to an external input device that receives user input, rather than a device that senses user input itself. In addition, the output module may output multiple pieces of information of various types. The output module may include at least one of a display for outputting an image, a speaker for outputting a sound, a tactile device for generating a vibration, and various other forms of output components. In addition, the output module can also be implemented in the form of an output interface of one of the port types connected to the above-mentioned individual output components.

As an example, an output module in the form of a display can display a text, a static image, and a moving image. The display may include a liquid crystal display (LCD), a light emitting diode (LED) display, an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display, a flat panel display (FPD), a transparent display, a curved display, a flexible display, a three-dimensional display, a holographic display, a projector, and at least one of other types of devices capable of performing image output functions. Such a display may have the form of a touch display configured integrally with the touch sensor of the input module.

The communication portion 220 can communicate with another device. Therefore, each of the server device 100 and the user device 200 can transmit information to another device or receive information from another device via the communication portion 220. For example, the server device 100 and the user device 200 can communicate with each other or with another device using the communication portion 220.

Here, communication (i.e., transmission and reception of data) can be performed in a wired or wireless manner. For this purpose, the communication portion may include a wired communication module connected to the Internet or the like via a local area network (LAN), a mobile communication module connected to a mobile communication network via a mobile communication base station to transmit and receive data, a near field communication module using a wireless local area network (WLAN) series communication scheme (such as Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi)) or a wireless personal area network (WPAN) series communication scheme (such as Bluetooth or Zigbee), a satellite communication module using a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) (such as a global positioning system), or a combination thereof.

The memory 230 can store various pieces of information. The memory 230 can store data temporarily or semi-permanently. For example, an operating system (OS) for driving the server 100, data for hosting a website, data about a program or application for generating Braille (e.g., a web application), or the like can be stored in the memory of the server 100. In addition, the memory can store modules in the form of computer program codes as described above.

Examples of the memory 230 may include a hard disk drive (HDD), a solid state drive (SSD), a flash memory, a read-only memory (ROM), a random access memory (RAM), and the like. Such a memory may be provided in a built-in type or a removable type.

The processor 240 controls the overall operation of the server device 100 and the user device 200. For this purpose, the processor 240 can perform calculations and processing of various information and control the operation of the components of the server 100. For example, the processor 240 can execute a program or application for managing information. The processor 240 can be implemented with a computer or a device similar to the computer depending on hardware, software, or a combination thereof. The processor 240 can be implemented in the form of an electronic circuit that processes electrical signals to perform control functions in hardware, and can be implemented in the form of a program that drives the hardware processor 240 in software. At the same time, unless otherwise specifically stated in the following description, it can be interpreted that the operation of the server device 100 and the user device 200 is performed under the control of the processor 240. That is, the module implemented in the information management system described above can be interpreted as the processor 240 controlling the server device 100 and the user device 200 to perform the following operations when executed.

In general, each exemplary embodiment can be implemented through various components. For example, each exemplary embodiment can be implemented by hardware, firmware, software, a combination thereof, or the like.

In the case of hardware implementation, according to various exemplary embodiments, a method may be implemented by one or more application specific integrated circuits (ASICs), digital signal processors (DSPs), digital signal processing devices (DSPDs), programmable logic devices (PLDs), field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), processors, controllers, microcontrollers, microprocessors, or the like.

In the case of implementation by firmware or software, according to various exemplary embodiments, a method can be implemented in the form of a module, program or function that performs the functions or operations to be described below. For example, the software code can be stored in a memory and driven by a processor. The memory can be located inside or outside the processor and can transmit data to the processor or receive data from the processor through various known components.

The following will describe various exemplary embodiments in more detail based on the technical concepts described above. The content described above can be applied to various exemplary embodiments to be described below. For example, operations, functions, terms or the like that are not defined in various exemplary embodiments to be described below can be performed and described based on the content described above.

In the following description, various exemplary embodiments in which the server device 100 performs an information management operation will be described. According to each exemplary embodiment, the server device 100 or the user device 200 that has received the item gifting information from the server device 100 may output several pieces of relevant information.

As shown in FIG. 3 , in the management of item gifting information, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing a user with information required for the user to set an option for a recipient to choose to receive points available in a service associated with the server device 100 to redeem an item as a gift object through a payment information page.

According to various exemplary embodiments, in operation 301, the server device 100 may view information about an item in response to first input information from a user.

For example, the item corresponding to the information viewed by the server device 100 in operation 301 may be a gift item that the user wants to give to a recipient as a gift item.

For example, the first input information of a user for viewing information about an item in the server device 100 may include input information for searching for an item and information input for viewing an item detail page of the item. That is, in an item gifting process, a user may search for an item by a name of the item, a keyword related to the item, or the like, and access the item detail page of the item to obtain information about the item.

For example, the item details page of the item accessed when the user enters the first input information may include information about the item, purchase icon information to be used when the user directly purchases the item, and icon gift information to be used when the user gives the item to a recipient. That is, in response to the user's first input information, the server device 100 may provide the user with an item details page including the various pieces of information described above. The user may purchase the item directly or give the item as a gift to the recipient with reference to the item details page.

According to various exemplary embodiments, in operation 303, in response to the user's second input information of gifting the viewed item to the recipient, the server device 100 may check whether the gifting of the item is available based on the characteristic information of the item.

For example, the second input information of the user giving the item as a gift to the recipient may be information obtained from the user by the server device 100 through the item detail page provided in response to the user's first input information. Determining whether the gift of the item is available based on the characteristic information of the item may be performed according to the second input information.

Specifically, the item details page accessed by the user to view the item may include gift icon information to be used when the user gives the item as a gift to the recipient. The second input information may include input information corresponding to the gift icon information. In this case, the server device 100 may check whether the gift of the item is available based on the characteristic information of the item in response to the input information entered by the user in the gift icon information. When the user makes an input to give the item as a gift on the item details page, the user may receive information related to the gift item from the server device 100.

Alternatively, specifically, the item details page accessed by the user to view the item may include purchase icon information to be used when the user directly purchases the item. The second input information may include one or more input information required to send the item as a gift based on the purchase icon information. In this case, the server device 100 may provide an order information viewing area to be used when purchasing the item in response to the input information entered by the user in the purchase icon information. In this case, the order information viewing area may include a gift setting area where the user enters information for sending the item as a gift instead of purchasing the item. The server device 100 may check whether the gift of the item is available based on the characteristic information of the item in response to the input information entered by the user in the gift setting area. That is, in response to input information input by the user on the purchase icon information included on the item detail page, the server device 100 may first provide an order information viewing area to be used when purchasing the item. Subsequently, in response to input information input by the user on the gift setting area for the item provided in the order information viewing area, the server device 100 may check whether the gift of the item is available. In this case, when the input information input by the user in the gift setting area for the item is obtained, the purchase icon information for purchasing the item displayed in the order information viewing area may disappear, and instead, the gift icon information may be generated and displayed. The user may first input an item purchase on the item details page, receive an order information viewing area to be used when purchasing the item from the server device 100, further input an item as a gift on the order information viewing area, and then receive item gifting information from the server device 100.

FIG. 4 is a diagram showing an operation method in which the server device 100 checks whether the gift of an item is available according to various exemplary embodiments.

In FIG. 4 , in operation 401 , the server device 100 may provide an item detail page including purchase icon information for purchasing the item and gift icon information for giving the item as a gift in response to a user's first input information for viewing information about the item.

In operation 403, the server device 100 may obtain input information entered by the user on the gift icon information included in the item detail page. Subsequently, in operation 405, the server device 100 may check whether the gift of the item is available based on the characteristic information of the item in response to the obtained input information. When it is determined that the gift of the item is available, the server device 100 may provide the user with additional information for continuing an item gifting process.

In operation 407, when input information input by the user on the purchase icon information included in the item detail page is obtained, the server device 100 may provide the user with an order information viewing area associated with the purchase of the item in response to the obtained input information. The order information viewing area may include a gift setting area where the user enters information for giving the item as a gift instead of purchasing the item. Based on this, the server device 100 may obtain the information input by the user on the gift setting area. When the input information input by the user on the gift setting area is obtained, in operation 409, the server device 100 may check whether the gift of the item is available based on the characteristic information of the item. When it is determined that gifting of the item is available, the server device 100 may provide the user with additional information for continuing the gifting process of the item.

The input information obtained from the user by the server device 100 in operation 403 or 407 shown in FIG. 4 may be included in the second input information obtained from the user by the server device 100 in operation 303 shown in FIG. 3 .

For example, the item details page provided in response to the user's first input information may include guidance information associated with the user's setting information, which is used for the configuration recipient in operation 305 to be described later to select to receive points that can be used in a service associated with the server device 100 to redeem the item in response to the input of the recipient receiving the item as a gift object. The guidance information may be displayed above the gift icon information included in the item details page.

According to various exemplary embodiments, in operation 305, when it is determined that the gift of the viewed item is available, the server device 100 may provide a payment information page, which includes a first area for inputting first information about the recipient and a second area for inputting second information so that the recipient can choose to receive points available in the service to redeem the viewed item according to an input made by the recipient.

For example, the first area for inputting the first information about the recipient may be an area for inputting information about the recipient of the item as a gift, a message forwarded to the recipient, or the like. The information about the recipient may be information that can be used to determine the recipient of the item as a gift (such as a name, contact information, or the like of the recipient).

For example, when a price of an item as a gift object is equal to or less than a configured amount, the second area for inputting the second information may be an area included in the payment information page. That is, in a case where the user wants to give an item as a gift to a recipient, when the price of the item is equal to or less than a set amount, the user may set so that the recipient can choose to receive points available in a service associated with the server device 100 to redeem the item as a gift object based on an input made by the recipient. The second area may be included in the payment information page. The recipient can choose to receive the item or receive points to redeem the item. When the price of the item exceeds the set amount, the user may not be able to set the recipient to choose to receive points to redeem the item as a gift object based on an input made by the recipient. The second area may not be provided on the payment information page. Therefore, the recipient may only receive the item as a gift item without an option for the recipient to choose to receive points to redeem the item. As an example, when the price of the item as a gift item exceeds 50,000 won, the server device 100 may not provide the user with a setting that allows the recipient to choose to receive points to redeem the item as a gift item according to an input made by the recipient.

For example, when the user inputs the second information into the second area so that the recipient can choose to receive the item as a gift object or receive points to redeem the item, the user can be restricted to a payment option for paying for the item as a gift object. Receiving points to redeem the item as a gift object can mean issuing a gift certificate corresponding to an amount of points to the recipient. Therefore, receiving points to redeem the item as a gift object can mean partially restricting the user's payment options as in the case of issuing a gift certificate to the recipient.

As an example, in a case where the user wants to pay for an item without inputting the second information into the second area so that the recipient receives the item as a gift item, the user can use various payment options, such as 1) paying for the item by making a payment of an amount corresponding to the item in a mobile phone payment, 2) paying for the item by making a payment of an amount corresponding to the item in a credit card payment, 3) paying for the item by making a payment of an amount remaining by subtracting a discount amount from the amount corresponding to the item by applying a discount coupon held by the user, 4) paying for the item with a discount amount by first paying the amount corresponding to the item and receiving a specific amount in the form of a refund, or the like. However, in a case where the user enters second information into the second area so that the recipient chooses to receive the item as a gift object or to receive points to redeem the item, the user's payment options may be partially restricted. For example, mobile phone payment may be restricted or credit card payment may be restricted according to a policy of a company of a credit card that the user wants to use for payment. As a specific example, depending on the setting of the server device 100, the user may still make a mobile phone payment even if the user enters the second information into the second area. In this case, the user may perform the same procedure as a general mobile phone payment for the item. When the payment procedure cannot be performed due to a failure in the data connection through the mobile phone, the server device 100 may provide guidance information to the user to allow the user to select a payment option again. Alternatively, depending on the setting of the server device 100, when the user inputs the second information into the second area, mobile phone payment may be restricted regardless of the characteristics of the item as a gift object or a price of the item. In this case, even if the user makes an input to continue payment, the server device 100 may still provide guidance information to the user to allow the user to select a payment option again.

For example, in a case where the user inputs the second information into the second area so that the recipient can choose to receive the item as a gift object or receive points to exchange for the item, the amount of points that the recipient can receive can be determined as the amount actually paid by the user. That is, when the user has paid for the item without any special discount in the payment procedure for the item as a gift object, the amount of points that the recipient can receive to exchange for the item can be determined to be the same as the price of the item. At the same time, when the user has paid for the item at a discounted price by applying a discount coupon in the payment procedure for the item as a gift object, the amount of points that the recipient can receive to exchange for the item can be determined to be the same as the discounted price.

For example, when a user has paid for an item as a gift object through the payment information page provided in operation 305, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing the recipient with information or a page associated with the acceptance of the item gift.

In the case where the user inputs the second information into the second area so that the recipient can choose to receive the item as a gift object or receive points to exchange for the item, the recipient can choose to directly receive the item or receive points available in the service associated with the server device 100 to exchange for the item on the page containing information related to the acceptance of the item gift. That is, in the case where the user inputs the second information into the second area so that the recipient can choose to receive the item as a gift object or receive points to exchange for the item, the server device 100 can provide the recipient with an input area on which the recipient can choose to directly receive the item or receive points available in the service associated with the server device 100 to exchange for the item. The input area can be included in a page that provides information related to the acceptance of the gift item. Furthermore, providing information related to the receipt of the gift item may include providing the recipient with a message having link information to a page where information related to the receipt of the gift item may be entered.

For example, in a case where a user inputs second information into the second area so that a recipient can choose to receive an item as a gift object or receive points to redeem an item, when the recipient selects to receive the item in response to the input of the second information, delivery information about the item can be provided to at least one of the user or the recipient. That is, when the recipient selects to receive the item, the item is set to be delivered to the recipient. Therefore, the delivery information can be provided to the user who sends the item as a gift object or the recipient who will receive the item.

For example, in a case where the user inputs the second information into the second area so that the recipient can choose to receive an item as a gift object or receive points to redeem the item, when the recipient selects to receive points to redeem the item in response to the input of the second information, information indicating that the recipient has selected to receive points to redeem the item may be provided to the user. That is, when the recipient selects to receive points to redeem the item, information indicating this fact may be provided to the user.

For example, in a case where the user inputs the second information into the second area so that the recipient can choose to receive an item as a gift object or receive points to exchange for an item, when the recipient selects to receive points to exchange for an item in response to the input of the second information, purchase suggestion information associated with an item corresponding to the amount of points may be further provided to the recipient. When a product selection list (such as a purchase plan list or a list of items of interest) of the recipient includes some items and the product selection list includes at least one item within a price range equivalent to the amount of points, the server device 100 may provide the recipient with information that guides the recipient to add the points received to exchange for the item to purchase the at least one item. Alternatively, when the receiver's merchandise selection list includes some items and the merchandise selection list includes at least one item within a price range lower than the amount of points, the server device 100 may provide the receiver with information that guides the receiver to purchase the at least one item with the points received to redeem the items.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 5 , in the management of the gift information, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing the user with information required for the user to select a gift package when a gift package option is provided through the payment information page.

FIG. 5 is a diagram showing another example of an operation method of a server device 100 for managing information according to various exemplary embodiments.

According to various exemplary embodiments, in operation 501, the server device 100 may view information about an item in response to the user's first input information.

For example, the item corresponding to the information viewed by the server device 100 in operation 501 may be a gift item that the user wants to give to a recipient.

For example, the first input information of a user to view information about an item may include information input for searching for an item and information input for viewing an item detail page of the item. That is, to send an item as a gift, the user may search for the item by a name of the item, a keyword related to the item, or the like, and access the item detail page of the item to obtain information about the item.

According to various exemplary embodiments, in operation 503, in response to the user's second input information of sending the searched item as a gift to the recipient, the server device 100 can check whether the gift of the item is available based on the characteristic information of the item and check whether the gift packaging of the item is supported based on whether the gift of the item is available.

For example, the second input information of the user giving the item as a gift to the recipient may be information obtained from the user by the server device 100 through the item detail page provided in response to the user's first input information. Checking whether the gift of the item is available based on the characteristic information of the item may be performed according to the second input information.

Specifically, an item detail page accessed by a user to view an item may include gift icon information to be used when the user gives the item as a gift to a recipient. The second input information may include input information corresponding to the gift icon information.

Alternatively, specifically, the item detail page accessed by the user to view the item may include purchase icon information to be used when the user directly purchases the item. The second input information may include one or more input information required to send the item as a gift through the purchase icon information. In this case, the server device 100 may provide an order information viewing area to be used when purchasing the item in response to the input information entered by the user on the purchase icon information. In this case, the order information viewing area may include a gift setting area where the user can enter information for sending the item as a gift instead of purchasing the item. The server device 100 may check whether the gift of the item is available based on the characteristic information of the item in response to the input information entered by the user on the gift setting area. The user may first make an input to purchase the item on the item detail page, receive an order information viewing area for purchasing the item from the server device 100, further make an input to send the item as a gift in the order information viewing area, and then receive the item gift information from the server device 100.

For example, only when gifting of an item is available, the server device 100 may check whether gift packaging is provided as a service. Depending on the characteristic information of the item, whether gift packaging of an item that can be set as a gift is provided as a service and gift packaging options may be set differently.

According to various exemplary embodiments, in operation 505, in the case where gifting of the viewed item is available and gift packaging is supported, the server device 100 may provide a payment information page including a first area for inputting first information about the recipient and a second area for inputting second information for selecting a gift packaging for the viewed item.

For example, the first area for inputting first information about a recipient may be an area for a user to input information about a recipient to whom the user wants to send an item as a gift, a message to be forwarded to the recipient, or the like. The information about the recipient may be information (such as name, contact information, or the like) that may be used to designate a recipient of an item as a gift object.

For example, the second area for inputting the second information may include information about a cost of gift wrapping. When the cost of gift wrapping is not incurred by applying a free promotion or the like, the information about the cost of gift wrapping may be deleted from the second area and the information about the free promotion may be included in the second area.

For example, the second area may include button information for providing guidance information about gift packaging. When obtaining information corresponding to the button information input by the user, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing a guidance page including the above guidance information based on the input information.

For example, when the second information is input into the second area, the second area may be provided to include an additional area for inputting an option of one or more gift packaging options corresponding to an item configuration to be packaged as a gift. As an example, when the user inputs the second information into the second area, one or more gift packaging options that can be set for an item as a gift object may be further provided in the second area in the form of a table. The table listing one or more gift packaging options may be provided in a portion of the second area. Here, one or more gift packaging options corresponding to an item configuration to be packaged as a gift may mean selecting various gift packaging options applicable to the item based on the characteristic information of the item as a gift object. In addition, the characteristic information of the item related to the gift packaging may include characteristics of the gift packaging of the item used to determine whether the item is related to storage, distribution, transportation, or the like of the item.

Specifically, in the case where the characteristics of an item as a gift item include 1) the need to maintain the freshness or condition of the item, 2) the item has an expiration date or its expiration date is shorter than another item, or 3) a period of time in which the condition of the item is maintained within a specific period of time for satisfying conditions related to temperature, humidity, light, or the like for storage of the item, the gift packaging options of the item may be restricted. As an example, the item may include a food item. When such an item is packaged as a gift item, it may be determined that it is difficult to maintain the condition of the item. In this case, the gift packaging itself may be restricted. Alternatively, some gift packaging options that can ensure the maintenance of the condition of the item may be set as gift packaging options.

Alternatively, even in a case where an item as a gift object is sensitive to an external influence and needs to be managed for a separate condition or the like related to influence prevention, gift wrapping of the item may be restricted. As an example, such an item may include an item requiring external influence prevention (such as an electronic product of a size or weight equal to or greater than a specific value), or an item composed of a material sensitive to external influence (such as a glass). In a case where gift wrapping is applied to such an item as a gift object, when it is determined that it is difficult to prevent influence on the item and maintain the state of the item, the gift wrapping itself may be restricted. Alternatively, a gift wrapping option capable of preventing influence on the item and maintaining the state of the item may be set as a gift wrapping option.

When an item as a gift object does not have the packaging restriction feature as described above, the gift packaging options for the item may be set differently depending on the setting of a service associated with a seller or the server device 100. That is, gift packaging options that take various conditions into consideration may be set, such as packaging that takes into consideration the appearance of the item as a gift object, packaging for minimizing the external impact on the item, and the like. In addition, the above service may be set to provide users with gift packaging options that can serve items, or a seller of the item may select and set some gift packaging options that are determined to be able to serve items in the service and provide them to the user. In this case, depending on the gift packaging options, an additional fee may be incurred in addition to the basic fee for gift packaging. Information about this additional fee may be provided along with information about gift packaging options.

For example, in operation 505, when the user makes an input for paying for an item as a gift on the payment information page provided by the server device 100, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing a confirmation page related to gift payment information in response to the input made by the user. In this case, since inputting the second information into the second area means that the user has selected a gift package, the server device 100 may set the confirmation page to include information indicating the gift package of the selected item and payment amount information including the price of the item and the cost of the gift package. That is, in the process of paying for an item as a gift, information indicating the gift package of the selected item may be additionally provided.

For example, when the user has paid for an item as a gift through the payment information page of operation 505, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing a page related to gift acceptance of the item as a gift to the recipient. In this case, since the user inputs the second information into the second area, which means that the user has selected a gift package, the server device 100 may set the page related to the acceptance of the item to include information indicating the gift package of the selected item and payment amount information including the price of the item and the cost of the gift package. That is, in the process of paying for the item as a gift, information indicating the gift package of the selected item may be provided separately.

For example, when the user cancels payment for an item as a gift object after having paid for the item through the payment information page of operation 505, or when the user returns an item after having completed payment for an item as a gift object through the payment information page of operation 305 and the item has been delivered, the server device 100 may provide the user or the recipient with information related to the payment cancellation or return. In this case, the information related to the payment cancellation or return may include information indicating the gift packaging of the selected item.

As an example, when a user inputs information about a payment cancellation request for an item after the user has completed payment for the item as a gift, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing a payment cancellation page, the payment cancellation page including payment amount information including the price of the item and the cost of gift packaging, information indicating the gift packaging of the selected item, and refund information in response to the input information input by the user. That is, in the process of canceling the gift of the item, information indicating the gift packaging of the selected item may be provided separately.

In this case, in the process of gifting an item, when obtaining information about a payment cancellation request from a user before viewing a gift package of an item in a fulfillment center to release the item upon completion of payment for the item, the refund information included in the payment cancellation page may be the same as the payment amount information. In this case, both an amount corresponding to the price of the item and the cost of the gift package may be refunded to the user.

Meanwhile, when obtaining information about a payment cancellation request from a user after viewing gift packaging of an item in a fulfillment center to release the item upon completion of payment of the item, the refund information included in the payment cancellation page may include only information about an amount corresponding to the price of the item in the payment amount information. In this case, only the amount corresponding to the price of the item may be refunded to the user excluding the cost of gift packaging.

At the same time, information about a payment cancellation request may be obtained from the user after the recipient accepts the gift of the item. As a reason for a payment cancellation request for a gift item, there may be a case in which a defect occurs in the item when the item is shipped out of the warehouse or in the process of handling the gift of the item. In this case, the refund information included in the payment cancellation page may be the same as the payment amount information. In this case, both the amount corresponding to the price of the item and the cost of gift packaging may be refunded to the user. However, when such a payment cancellation request is deemed to be due to a simple change of mind of one of the user or the recipient or a personal problem of the user or the recipient, the refund information included in the payment cancellation page may include only information about the amount corresponding to the price of the item in the payment amount information. In this case, only the amount corresponding to the price of the item may be refunded to the user excluding the cost of gift wrapping. In addition, when information about a payment cancellation request is obtained from the user before the recipient accepts the item as a gift, the refund information included in the payment cancellation page may be set to be the same as the payment amount information regardless of whether the gift wrapping of the item has been processed. Both the amount corresponding to the price of the item and the cost of gift wrapping may be refunded to the user.

As another example, after the user has paid for a gift item and the gift item has been delivered, when the user or recipient enters information about a return request for the gift item, the server device may perform an operation of providing an item return page, the item return page including payment amount information including the price of the gift item and the cost of gift packaging, information indicating the gift packaging of the selected item, and refund information in response to the input information entered by the user or recipient. That is, in the return process of the gift item, information indicating the gift packaging of the selected item may also be provided.

In the process of processing gift items over time, when a return request for an item is received, since the item has already been packaged and delivered to the recipient, the refund information included in the item return page may only include the amount corresponding to the price of the item in the payment amount information. In this case, the cost of gift packaging may be excluded and only the amount corresponding to the price of the item may be refunded to the user.

FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating an operation method in which a server device provides information related to a payment cancellation of a gift item or a return of the gift item according to various exemplary embodiments.

In operation 601, the server device 100 may receive a payment cancellation request for a gift item or a return request for a gift item from a user or a recipient. After receiving the payment cancellation request for a gift item or the return request for a gift item, in operation 603, the server device 100 may check information indicating gift packaging of an item selected as a gift item, and payment amount information including the price of the item and the cost of the gift packaging of the item.

After receiving a payment cancellation request before viewing the gift packaging of the item in the fulfillment center to issue the item as a gift object, in operation 605, the server device 100 may view the refund information including the same amount as the amount in the payment amount information. At the same time, after receiving a payment cancellation request after viewing the gift packaging of the item in the fulfillment center to issue the item as a gift object, the server device 100 may view the refund information including an amount excluding the gift packaging fee from the amount in the payment amount information.

After receiving the return request, in operation 607, the server device 100 may check the refund information including an amount excluding the gift wrapping fee because the gift wrapping of the item as a gift object has been completed and the item has been delivered to the recipient.

After checking the information indicating the gift packaging of the selected item, the payment amount information, and the refund information in operations 603, 605, and 607, in operation 609, the server device 100 may provide a payment cancellation page or an item return page including the multiple pieces of information described above.

For example, when a user pays for an item for which a gift package has been selected through the payment information page of operation 505 and the recipient accordingly accepts the item as a gift through a gift receiving related page provided to the recipient, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing the recipient with a feedback page, which includes an area for inputting feedback information indicating the gift package of the selected item. That is, the server device 100 may obtain feedback information for evaluating the satisfaction of the gift package of the item from the recipient of the item received as a gift object. This feedback information may be provided in a manner that allows the recipient to assign a grade for the gift package of the item and write a comment on the gift package of the item. The feedback page may basically include viewing information and feedback information about the user who sends the item as a gift. When the recipient is a person logged into a service associated with the server device 100 or a member of the service, the feedback page may further include viewing information about the recipient.

For example, according to the various exemplary embodiments described with reference to FIG. 3 , the payment information page provided by the server device 100 in operation 505 may include an area where a user who wants to send an item as a gift can enter information for configuring that the recipient can choose to directly receive the item or receive points to redeem the item.

When the user sets information so that the recipient can choose to directly receive the item or receive points to redeem the item, a gift acceptance-related page provided to the recipient from the server device 100 may include an input area in which the recipient can choose to directly receive the item or receive points to redeem the item. In this case, when the user selects gift packaging for the item and the recipient chooses to receive points available in the service to redeem the item, the amount of points may be determined as the amount corresponding to the price of the item in the payment amount information including the amount corresponding to the price of the item and the cost of the gift packaging. That is, when the recipient chooses to receive points to redeem the item, the amount corresponding to the cost of the gift packaging may be excluded from the points to be received to redeem the item.

In addition, when the user sets information so that the recipient can choose to directly receive the item or receive points to redeem the item, and selects gift packaging for the item, the payment amount information included in the gift acceptance related page provided to the recipient from the server device 100 can be set to include only the amount corresponding to the price of the item, excluding the cost of the gift packaging. That is, in this case, information about the cost of the gift packaging may not be provided to the recipient.

For example, when the user has paid for the item as a gift object through the payment information page provided in operation 505, the gift acceptance-related page provided to the recipient from the server device 100 at that time may be configured so that the recipient can enter the delivery destination information on the gift acceptance-related page. The delivery destination information entered by the recipient on the gift acceptance-related page may be used to view the fulfillment center used to dispatch the item as a gift object. That is, the server device 100 may view one or more fulfillment centers used to dispatch the item based on the input delivery destination information, and may set the item to be dispatched through one of the one or more fulfillment centers. In this case, when the user has selected a gift package for the item, the server device 100 may check at least one fulfillment center among the one or more fulfillment centers that can process the selected gift package, and may set the item to be shipped through one of the at least one fulfillment centers.

That is, in a case where a user performs an input of selecting a gift package to package an item as a gift, when a recipient enters the delivery destination information on a gift acceptance related page, the server device 100 may check a specific fulfillment center capable of processing the gift package based on the selection input of the gift package and the delivery destination information entered by the recipient. The specific fulfillment center may be a fulfillment center selected from at least one fulfillment center capable of processing the gift package among one or more fulfillment centers corresponding to the delivery destination information of the recipient. In this case, the specific fulfillment center may be a fulfillment center selected from at least one fulfillment center capable of processing the gift package based on a distance from the delivery destination information to a fulfillment center. Specifically, a fulfillment center that has the shortest distance to the delivery destination in the delivery destination information can be determined as a specific fulfillment center.

Regarding the specific fulfillment center determined as above to dispatch the item for which gift packaging is selected, the server device 100 may provide information about the item and information indicating the gift packaging of the selected item. That is, after checking the specific fulfillment center for dispatching the item for which gift packaging is selected, the server device 100 may provide fulfillment management information about the item (including information about the item and information indicating the gift packaging of the selected item) to a management server of the fulfillment center. In the above exemplary embodiment described in conjunction with the gift packaging option, when one or more gift packaging options are configured for the gift packaging of the item based on the characteristic information of the item as a gift object and the user selects one of the one or more gift packaging options, information about the one gift packaging option selected by the user may be provided while being included in the fulfillment management information about the item.

In this case, when one or more gift packaging options are set for gift packaging of an item and a user selects one of the one or more gift packaging options, the server device 100 can check a fulfillment center that can process the selected gift packaging option among one or more fulfillment centers corresponding to the destination delivery information of the recipient, and can provide the fulfillment management information of the item to the management server of the fulfillment center. Therefore, the fact that the server device 100 provides information about the selected gift packaging option and the information is included in the fulfillment management information of the item can mean that the fulfillment center that receives the respective information corresponds to the fulfillment center that can serve the selected gift packaging option.

In addition, the server device 100 may determine an estimated time required to process the gift wrapping in a specific fulfillment center determined to ship the item for which the gift wrapping is selected, or obtain information about the estimated time required to process the gift wrapping from the specific fulfillment center. In addition, the server device 100 may determine a shipping date for shipping the item from the specific fulfillment center based on the estimated time required to process the gift wrapping. That is, in association with the specific fulfillment center, the server device 100 may determine a shipping date for the item based on the estimated time required to process the gift wrapping in the specific fulfillment center, and may provide information about the determined shipping date to the user or recipient.

For example, when a user has paid for an item as a gift item through the payment information page provided in operation 505 and the recipient accordingly accepts the gift item in the gift acceptance related page provided from the server device 100, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing at least one of the user and the recipient with delivery information of the item. The delivery information of the item described herein may include information about a delivery status of the item. The delivery status of the item may refer to a state of affairs related to a delivery progress status of the item, such as preparation, dispatch, loading and unloading of the item, or the like. In this case, the above-mentioned delivery information may include information indicating a gift package of the item selected for delivery.

Furthermore, as described above, in addition to providing the recipient with a gift acceptance-related page of an item to obtain the recipient's delivery destination information through the gift acceptance-related page, the server device 100 can obtain the delivery destination information by viewing the recipient when the user pays for the item as a gift. As an example, when the recipient is a member of a service associated with the server device 100 and can view identification information about the recipient for the service using only information about the recipient entered by the user on the payment information page provided in operation 505, the server device 100 can use the identification information to view the delivery information of the recipient previously configured in the service.

That is, in a case where previously configured identification information about a recipient can be viewed based on information about the recipient input by the user on the payment information page provided in operation 505, the server device 100 can view the recipient's delivery destination information based on the previously configured identification information. The delivery destination information thus viewed can be used to view a fulfillment center for dispatching an item as a gift object. The server device 100 can view the recipient's delivery destination information and view one or more fulfillment centers for dispatching the item with reference to the delivery destination information. In addition, the server device 100 can also view a fulfillment center for dispatching the item among the viewed one or more fulfillment centers. In the case where the user selects gift packaging to package the item as a gift, the server device 100 may check at least one fulfillment center capable of processing gift packaging among the checked one or more fulfillment centers, and may check a fulfillment center for sending the item from the checked at least one fulfillment center.

When the user pays for the gift item in a state where the recipient's delivery destination information is viewed, the process of viewing the fulfillment center as described above by the server device 100 is executed. At the same time, the server device 100 may provide additional information to the user.

For example, when the user selects gift packaging to package the item as a gift, the server device 100 may check at least one fulfillment center that can process gift packaging and obtain information about an estimated average time required to process the gift packaging. That is, the server device 100 may obtain information about an estimated average packaging cycle required to package the gift in the fulfillment center by receiving information about an estimated time required to process the gift packaging from each of the at least one fulfillment center and averaging the received estimated times. When the user selects gift packaging to package the item as a gift, the server device 100 may determine an additional estimated delivery cycle required for delivery of the item based on the estimated average packaging cycle. Here, the additional estimated delivery cycle may refer to a time period additionally required to package the item in the fulfillment center in addition to a typical delivery procedure of the item, and may vary depending on a gift packaging preparation status of the fulfillment center, a loading/unloading status of the fulfillment center, or the like. Information about the additional estimated delivery cycle determined as above may be provided to the user and included in a second area on the payment information page provided in operation 505, and second information for selecting gift packaging is input into the second area to pay for the item gift. Based on the information about the additional estimated delivery cycle provided to the user, the user may determine whether to keep selecting gift packaging to package the item as a gift in consideration of a delivery schedule of the recipient or the like.

For example, when a user selects gift packaging to package an item as a gift, the server device 100 may check at least one fulfillment center that can process gift packaging, and may check a specific fulfillment center among the at least one fulfillment center that has a shortest distance from a delivery destination viewed from the delivery destination information of the recipient. The server device 100 may determine an estimated packaging time required to process the gift packaging in the specific fulfillment center and obtain information about an estimated packaging time required to process the gift packaging from the specific fulfillment center. In addition, the server device 100 may determine an estimated delivery cycle required to deliver the item from the specific fulfillment center based on the delivery destination information of the recipient.

In this case, the server device 100 may estimate or determine a specific date for guaranteed delivery of the item and an order deadline for guaranteed delivery of the item on the specific date, taking into account both the expected delivery time and the expected packaging time. In addition, the server device 100 may provide the user with information about the estimated (or determined) specific date and order deadline time, and the information is included in the payment information page (through which the user pays for the item as a gift). That is, when selecting gift packaging to package the item as a gift, the user can view the date for guaranteed delivery of the item (the gift packaging for which it has been selected) before paying for the item on the payment information page. In addition, the user can also view his order deadline time.

FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating an operating method in which a server device provides additional information in a process of paying for a gift item by a user based on delivery destination information about a recipient according to various exemplary embodiments.

In operation 701, the server device 100 may check the identification information about the recipient previously configured in the service based on the information about the recipient entered by the user on the payment information page. This check of the identification information about the recipient may be performed based on information such as a name or contact information of the recipient, which may be used to grasp the identification information about the recipient previously configured in the service and is included in the information about the recipient entered by the user on the payment information page. When checking the identification information about the recipient, the server device 100 may obtain the delivery destination information about the recipient previously configured in the service in operation 703, and may check at least one fulfillment center capable of processing gift packaging of an item as a gift object among one or more fulfillment centers corresponding to the obtained delivery destination information in operation 705.

Subsequently, in operation 707, the server device 100 may obtain information about an estimated average packaging cycle required to process gift packaging from at least one fulfillment center capable of processing gift packaging, determine an estimated additional delivery cycle that may be additionally required for delivery within the estimated average packaging cycle, and provide information about the estimated additional delivery cycle to the user through a payment information page.

Alternatively, in operation 709, the server device 100 may check one of the delivery destination information closest to the recipient among at least one delivery center capable of processing gift packaging, and determine an estimated packaging cycle required to process the gift packaging in the nearest delivery center and an estimated delivery time required to deliver the item from the nearest delivery center based on the delivery destination information. Based on this, the server device 100 may determine a date for guaranteeing the delivery of the item (the gift packaging selected) and an order deadline time for guaranteeing the delivery of the item on that date, and provide information about the determined date and order deadline time to the user through the payment information page.

At the same time, in the management of item gift information, in addition to the operation method of transmitting and receiving various information related to the gift of items for the user who wants to give the item as described with reference to Figures 3 to 7, the server device 100 can transmit and receive various information for the receiver who receives the item as a gift object.

FIG8 is a diagram showing another example of an operation method of a server device 100 for managing information according to various exemplary embodiments.

According to various exemplary embodiments, in operation 801, the server device 100 may obtain information about an item as a gift object and information about a recipient to whom the item is to be provided.

For example, the information about the item as a gift object obtained by the server device 100 in operation 801 may be information about the item selected by the user to be sent to the recipient. The information about the recipient may be information required to send the gift to the recipient, which is obtained when the user inputs identification information about the recipient to send the item to the recipient.

According to various exemplary embodiments, in operation 803, the server device 100 may provide a message including information associated with the item to the recipient based on the acquired information about the recipient.

For example, the message provided by the server device 100 to the recipient in operation 803 may be a message providing an additional page in response to an input made by the recipient, or may be configured to obtain the input made by the recipient. To this end, the message may further include link information by which the server device 100 links to a page containing information for providing the item as a gift object to the recipient.

According to various exemplary embodiments, at operation 805, the server device 100 may receive a page request based on a message from a recipient. The page request may correspond to a page request associated with a gift item.

According to various exemplary embodiments, in operation 807, the server device 100 may provide the recipient with a response page including an interface tool set capable of configuring information for receiving an item as a gift object based on information about the recipient stored in a service associated with the server device 100 in response to the received page request.

For example, the response page provided from the server device 100 to the recipient in operation 807 may correspond to a gift acceptance-related page for an item.

For example, depending on whether the recipient of the item gift is in a logged-in state of a service associated with the server device 100, or whether the address information configured by the recipient is viewed for the service, the interface tool set included in the response page provided by the server device 100 to the recipient in operation 807 may be set differently. The address information described in the following exemplary embodiment may be information about the address at which the recipient receives the item as a gift, and may be understood as the same or corresponding meaning as the delivery destination information described with reference to FIGS. 3 to 7.

As an example, when a recipient logs into a service, the widget included in the response page may include address information associated with the service configured by the recipient and icon information that can be used to modify the address information. That is, the address information configured by the recipient in the service may be provided through the widget, and a function that can modify the address information may also be provided.

When one or more address information configured by the recipient exists in the service, that is, when viewing one or more address information configured by the recipient associated with the service, the address information first provided through the interface tool set on the response page can be configured based on representative address information selected from the one or more address information. Here, the selected representative address information can be the address information selected by the server device 100 as one of the representative addresses of the recipient because it is frequently used in the purchase and delivery of items in the service, or the representative address information directly selected by the recipient in the service.

In this case, when receiving an input of a recipient corresponding to the selected address information in the interface tool set, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing a delivery destination management page, through which the recipient may select an address information from one or more address information configured by the recipient or may add new address information. When the recipient performs an input of selecting another address information other than the selected address information from one or more address information included in the delivery destination management page provided by the server device 100 as described above, the address information provided through the interface tool set on the response page may be changed to another address information.

When there is no address information configured by the recipient for a service, that is, when the address information configured by the recipient is not associated with the service, a widget that displays a response page with the address information of the recipient omitted.

In this case, when viewing the respective inputs made by the recipient on the interface tool set, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing a delivery destination management page, which provides a function of being able to add new address information. When the recipient adds new address information on the delivery destination management page provided by the server device 100 as described above, the added new address information may be displayed on the interface tool set of the response page. The added new address information may be selected as representative address information about the recipient.

As another example, when the recipient is not logged into the service, the interface tool set may include a first input area where login information can be entered to view address information configured by the recipient associated with the service and a second input area where the recipient can enter address information. That is, the recipient can choose to retrieve address information through both the first input area for importing address information previously configured by the recipient for the service and the second input area where the recipient can directly enter address information. The recipient can log in to the service through the first input area to view and enter previously configured address information, or can directly enter address information into the second input area without logging in to the service.

When the recipient captures the previously configured address information through the first input area, that is, when an input performed by the recipient on the first input area is obtained, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing a login page of the service to the recipient. When an input performed by the recipient on the login page is obtained and then the recipient logs into the service, the interface tool set included in the response page may include the address information associated with the service configuration by the recipient and icon information for modifying the address information. That is, the address information previously configured by the recipient for the service is provided through the interface tool set, and a function of modifying the address information may also be provided to the recipient.

In a state where the recipient logs in to the service through the above input, when there is one or more address information configured by the recipient for the service, that is, when viewing one or more address information configured by the recipient associated with the service, the address information first provided through the interface tool set of the response page may be representative address information selected as a representative among the one or more address information. Here, the address information configured as representative address information may be address information selected by the server device 100 as a representative address of the recipient because it is frequently used in the purchase and delivery of items for the service, or representative address information directly selected by the recipient for the service.

In this case, when an input regarding selected address information is obtained by the recipient on the interface tool set, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing a delivery destination management page, which serves a function of selecting an address information or adding new address information from one or more address information configured by the recipient. Among one or more address information included in the delivery destination management page provided by the server device 100 as described above, when the recipient performs an input of selecting another address information other than the selected address information, the address information provided by the interface tool set on the response page may be changed to another address information.

In a state in which a recipient logs into a service through the above input, when the address information of the recipient does not exist for the service, that is, when the address information associated with the service configuration by the recipient is not viewed, a widget for displaying a response page in which the address information of the recipient is omitted.

In this case, when receiving an input from the recipient regarding the interface tool set, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing a delivery destination management page, which provides a function that enables the recipient to add new address information. When the recipient adds new address information on the delivery destination management page provided by the server device 100 as described above, the newly added address information may be provided on the response page through the interface tool set. The newly added address information may be selected as representative address information about the recipient.

FIG. 9 is a diagram showing an operation method in which the server device 100 is configured to provide an interface tool set including information based on a state of a recipient's login service according to various exemplary embodiments.

In operation 901 of FIG. 9 , the server device 100 may respond to the page request received from the recipient in operation 805 of FIG. 8 to check whether the recipient is logged into the service.

In operation 903, when the recipient is in a logged-in state of the service, the server device 100 may view one or more address information associated with the service configuration by the recipient. At this time, in operation 905, when viewing one or more address information about the recipient, the server device 100 may configure an interface tool set to include address information from the selected representative address information among the one or more address information and icon information for modifying the representative address information to another address information. Subsequently, based on an input made by the recipient regarding the interface tool set configured in operation 905, the selected representative address information or another address information changed by the icon information may be confirmed as the address information to be used when the item is given away.

Meanwhile, in operation 907, when address information about the recipient is not viewed, the server device 100 may configure the interface tool set to include information indicating that address information is not selected. Displaying address information about the recipient may be omitted. When the user makes an input to a response page including the interface tool set configured as described above, the server device 100 may immediately provide information related to completion of gift acceptance without requiring a separate delivery review or modification process. Subsequently, based on an input made by the user regarding the interface tool set configured in operation 907, address information about the recipient may be added to the service, and the addition of the address information may be used to confirm an address information to be used in the gifting of the item.

When the recipient is not logged into the service, in operation 909, the server device 100 may configure an interface tool set to include an input area in which the recipient can enter login information and an input area in which the recipient can directly enter address information.

When receiving an input by the recipient regarding an input area in which the recipient can directly input address information, the server device 100 can confirm the address information input by the recipient as the address information to be used in the item delivery. When the recipient makes an input to a response page including an interface tool set configured as described above, the server device 100 can provide information associated with a separate delivery viewing or modification process, unlike when the recipient logs into the service.

When receiving an input from the recipient regarding an input area where the recipient can enter login information, the server device 100 may provide the recipient with a login page for accessing the service. When the recipient logs into the service through the login page, the server device 100 may perform operations 903 to 907 in a manner similar to the above.

At the same time, depending on whether the recipient makes an input after logging into the service through the first input area to view the previously configured address information or whether the recipient directly enters the address information through the second input area without logging into the service, a page provided to the recipient by the server device 100 may change after the response page in the process for receiving the gift item.

First, in a case where the recipient logs into the service through the first input area of the response page and the previously configured address information about the recipient is input into the interface tool set, when obtaining a gift item acceptance input by the recipient on the response page to continue an item acceptance process after the response page, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing a gift acceptance completion page to guide the recipient to have selected to accept the gift item. That is, since the address information input by the recipient through the first input area is the address information that has been previously registered for the service, the process of the recipient accepting the gift item can be completed without an additional viewing process for the address information.

Meanwhile, in the case where the recipient directly inputs the address information into the second input area of the response page through the interface tool set, when obtaining the gift item acceptance input by the recipient on the response page to continue the item receiving process after the response page, before performing the operation of providing the gift acceptance completion page to indicate that the recipient has selected to accept the gift item, the server device 100 may first perform an operation of providing a delivery address confirmation page for instructing the recipient to view or modify the input address information. That is, when obtaining the gift item acceptance input by the recipient on the response page to continue the item receiving process, the server device 100 may provide a delivery address confirmation page for instructing the recipient to view or modify the address information directly input and set by the user. When receiving the gift item acceptance input from the recipient on the delivery address confirmation page, the server device 100 may provide a gift acceptance completion page for guiding the recipient to accept the gift item.

For example, when the recipient accepts the gift item on the response page provided to the recipient by the server device 100 in operation 807, the server device 100 may perform an operation of providing at least one of the user and the recipient with information about the delivery of the item. Here, the delivery information about the item may include information about a delivery status of the item. The delivery status of the item may refer to a situation status related to a delivery progress status of the item, such as preparation, sending, loading and unloading of the item, or the like.

If the delivery status of the item as a gift object is before the item shipping stage, since the item has not yet been delivered to the delivery destination of the address information configured by the receiver, the server device 100 can notify the receiver that it is possible to change the previously configured address information through the response page. Therefore, the receiver can change the previously configured address information to another address information. However, if the delivery status of the item as a gift object is after the item sending stage, since the item has been delivered to the delivery destination of the address information configured by the receiver, the server device 100 can notify the receiver that it is not possible to change the previously configured address information through the response page. Therefore, the receiver may not be able to change the previously configured address information.

On the other hand, according to the various exemplary embodiments described with reference to FIG. 3 , the server device 100 may receive information from a user who wants to donate an item that configures the recipient to have the option of directly receiving the item as a gift object or receiving points to redeem the item. In the case where the user configures the recipient to have the option of directly receiving the item as a gift object or receiving points to redeem the item, the response page provided by the server device 100 in operation 807 may have an input area in which the recipient can choose to directly receive the item as a gift object or receive points to redeem the item. In the case where the input area is included in the response page provided by the server device 100 in FIG. 8 , it is obvious that the exemplary embodiment described with reference to FIG. 3 can be combined and implemented with each other in various forms, and thus the above-mentioned input area can be provided through the response page in FIG. 8 .

In the foregoing, it is obvious that the exemplary embodiments related to item gifting information management and described according to FIGS. 3 to 9 can be combined and implemented in various forms by the server device 100.

FIG. 10 to FIG. 23 are diagrams showing examples of a user interface (UI)/user experience (UX) for providing item information according to various exemplary embodiments. For example, the examples shown in FIG. 10 to FIG. 23 may be the UI/UX of the user device 200. Each exemplary embodiment described in the reference figures may be implemented in response to the operation of the server device 100 described above with reference to FIG. 3 to FIG. 9.

Specifically, the various exemplary embodiments associated with the UI/UX of the user device 200 described in the reference figures can be implemented in the following manner: the user device 200 receives information input by the user and transmits the information to the server device 100, the server device 100 provides information corresponding to the input information received from the user device 200 to the user device 200 according to the operations described in reference figures 3 to 9, and the user device 200 outputs the respective information. However, the various exemplary embodiments associated with the UI/UX described in the reference figures are not limited thereto and can be implemented in any form as long as it can implement the UI/UX.

FIG. 10 and FIG. 11 are diagrams showing an example of an item detail page in which the user device 200 can obtain information input by the user who donated the item based on the operation output of the server device 100 according to various exemplary embodiments.

The item details page shown in FIG. 10 includes a gift icon information area 1001 and a purchase icon information area 1003. When an input is obtained by a user on the gift icon information area 1001 in FIG. 10, the user device 200 may output a payment information page for gifting the item. In addition, when an input is obtained by a user on the purchase icon information area 1003 in FIG. 10, as shown in FIG. 11, the user device 200 may provide an order information viewing area related to the purchase of the item as indicated by element symbol 1101 to the item details page. The order information viewing area in FIG. 11 may include a gift setting area as indicated by element symbol 1103 where the user can enter information to give the item as a gift instead of purchasing the item. When the user enters information into the gift setting area, the currently displayed purchase icon information 1003 may be changed to a gift icon information 1105. When receiving an input from the user into the gift icon information 1105, the user device 200 may output a payment information page for giving the item.

FIG. 12 and FIG. 13 are diagrams showing examples in which the user device 200 outputs item gift information to the user based on the operation of the server device 100 according to various exemplary embodiments. It can be understood that FIG. 12 and FIG. 13 show examples in which the user device 200 corresponding to the user who wants to gift an item outputs the item gift information, and the information may correspond to the information output based on the user's input obtained in FIG. 10 and FIG. 11.

Referring to FIG. 12 , the user device 200 outputs a payment information page for gifting an item to the user. The payment information page shown in FIG. 12 may include a first area 1201 where the user can input information about the recipient and a second area 1203 where the configuration recipient can select to receive points that can be used in the service to redeem an item as a gift object.

When the user enters information for gifting an item in FIG. 10 and FIG. 11, the second area may be included in the payment information page. When the user enters a portion of "redeemable service cash" displayed in the second area 1203, the recipient who will receive the item as a gift can choose to receive the item or receive service cash to redeem the item. In addition, when the user enters a portion of "redeemable service cash" on the payment information page, the user's payment options may be limited, as shown in FIG. 13.

FIG. 13 shows a payment option selection page provided when the user makes an input to a "payment option" area on the payment information page in FIG. 12. In FIG. 13, since the input is made to the "redeemable service cash" part displayed on the payment information page, the page in FIG. 13 informs that not only mobile phone payment and service cash are restricted but also credit card payment is restricted. On the other hand, in the page in FIG. 13, unlike mobile phone payment (first payment option), service cash or credit card payment (second payment option), payment by cash amount topped up on the service ("service payment amount", fourth payment option) and account transfer (third payment option) can be guided as having no specific restrictions.

FIG. 14 is a diagram showing an example in which the user device 200 outputs item gift information to the recipient based on the operation of the server device 100 according to various exemplary embodiments. It can be understood that FIG. 14 shows an example in which the user device 200 corresponding to the recipient who receives the item as a gift outputs the item gift information.

Referring again to FIG. 14 , the user device 200 provides the user with an item gift acceptance related page. The item gift acceptance related page shown in FIG. 14 may include areas 1401 and 1403 for inputting information that the configuration recipient may choose to receive points that can be used in the service to redeem an item as a gift object.

When the recipient chooses to directly receive the item as a gift, he/she can enter the delivery destination information to receive the item as a gift. When the recipient chooses to receive points to redeem the item, he/she can receive points to redeem the item as a gift without entering additional delivery destination information.

FIG. 15 and FIG. 16 are diagrams showing other examples in which the user device 200 outputs the item gift information to the user based on the operation of the server device 100 according to various exemplary embodiments. It can be understood that FIG. 15 shows an example in which the user device 200 corresponding to the user who wants to give the item outputs the item gift information, and the information may correspond to an example of information output based on the user's input obtained in FIG. 10 and FIG. 11. In addition, the information included in a payment information page shown in FIG. 15 and the information included in the payment information page shown in FIG. 12 can be combined with each other in various forms to provide a single payment information page.

Referring to FIG. 15 , the user device 200 provides the user with a payment information page for donating an item. The payment information page shown in FIG. 15 may include a first area 1501 for the user to input information about the recipient and a second area 1503 for the user to input second information for selecting a gift package for the item.

When the user enters information for gifting an item in FIG. 10 and FIG. 11, the second area 1503 may be included in the payment information page. When the user enters an input to a portion of "Add Gift Package" displayed in the second area 1503, gift packaging of the item may be applied. The second area may include information about a gift packaging fee and information about an ongoing free promotion.

When the user inputs a portion of "View Details" on the second area, as shown in FIG16, the user device 200 may output a page containing gift packaging guidance information. As can be seen from FIG16, in addition to gift packaging guidance information and information about ongoing free promotions, gift packaging related information may also be provided to users who want to give gifts.

Figures 17 to 23 are diagrams showing other examples in which the user device 200 outputs item gift information to the recipient based on the operation of the server device 100 according to various exemplary embodiments. It can be understood that Figures 17 to 23 show examples in which the user device 200 corresponding to the recipient receiving the item as a gift outputs the item gift information. In addition, the information included in an item gift acceptance related page shown in Figures 17 to 23 and the information included in the item gift acceptance related page shown in Figure 14 can be combined with each other in various forms to provide a single payment information page.

Referring to FIG. 17 , since the recipient has logged into the service, the user device 200 provides a page related to item gift acceptance as indicated by element symbol 1701, which includes an interface tool set having representative address information about the recipient and icon information capable of changing the address information. When an input corresponding to the icon information included in the interface tool set of FIG. 17 is obtained by the user, a delivery destination management page may be provided as shown in FIG. 18 , in which the recipient may select one address information from one or more address information configured by the recipient or add new address information.

Referring to FIG. 19 , since the recipient has logged into the service, the user device 200 provides a page related to item gift acceptance as indicated by 1901, which includes an interface tool set with information indicating that the address information about the recipient has not been selected. In the case where the recipient chooses to accept the gift without the delivery destination information, as shown in FIG. 19 , the interface tool set displays a phrase “Please Select” for notifying the addition of delivery destination information. When an input is obtained by the user for the icon information included in the interface tool set, a delivery destination management page as shown in FIG. 20 may be provided to the recipient to add new delivery destination information about the recipient. Different from the delivery destination management page shown in FIG. 18, in the delivery destination management page shown in FIG. 20, the receiver cannot select the previously configured address information about the receiver and can only perform the operation of adding new delivery destination information.

Referring to FIG. 21 , since the recipient has not logged into the service, the user device 200 provides a page related to item gift acceptance as indicated by 2101 , which includes an interface tool set having an input area for the recipient to input login information and an input area for the recipient to directly input address information.

When the recipient inputs a portion of "or directly input" in FIG. 21 to directly input address information, as shown in FIG. 22, the user device 200 may further output an area 2201 on the item gift acceptance related page where direct input of address information is possible. In FIG. 22, when the recipient inputs address information on the item gift acceptance related page and chooses to accept the item, the user device 200 may provide the recipient with a page where viewing or modification of the input address information is possible.

In FIG. 21 , the recipient clicks a portion of “Load registered delivery destination” to load address information previously configured in the service or a portion of “Login”, and the user device 200 may further output a login page for the recipient, as shown in FIG. 23 . When the recipient makes an input through login, the user device 200 may output the page described with reference to FIGS. 17 to 20 .

The UI/UX used for the user device 200 in Figures 10 to 23 and the operation of the user device 200 can be associated with the operation execution of the server device 100 described with reference to Figures 3 to 9. The examples shown in the UI/UX in Figures 10 to 23 are only examples for implementing the present invention and the various exemplary embodiments of the present invention are not limited to the examples of UI/UX shown in Figures 10 to 23. Other examples of UI/UX can be applied as long as they can implement the various exemplary embodiments of the present invention.

The exemplary embodiments of the present invention disclosed in this specification and the drawings are only specific examples disclosed to easily illustrate the technical content of the present invention and further promote the overall understanding of the present invention, and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. That is, those familiar with this technology will understand that other changes can be made based on the technical concept of the present invention. In addition, the respective exemplary embodiments described above can be implemented in combination with each other as needed. For example, all exemplary embodiments of the present invention can be partially combined with each other and implemented by a system.

In addition, the method according to the present invention performed by the system or the like can be implemented in the form of program instructions, which can be implemented through various computer components and recorded on a computer-readable medium.

As described above, from a particular perspective, various exemplary embodiments of the present invention may be implemented using computer-readable program code in a computer-readable recording medium. A computer-readable recording medium is any data storage device capable of storing data that can be read by a computer system. Examples of computer-readable recording media may include a read-only memory (ROM), a random access memory (RAM), a compact disc read-only memory (CD-ROM), a magnetic tape, a floppy disk, an optical data storage device, and a carrier wave (such as data transmission via the Internet). In addition, the computer-readable recording medium may be distributed throughout network-connected computer systems. Therefore, the computer-readable program code is stored and executed in a distributed manner. In addition, the functional programs, program codes and code snippets used to implement the various exemplary embodiments of the present invention can be easily explained by those skilled in the art of the field to which the present invention is applied.

In addition, it will be understood that the apparatus and methods according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention are implemented in the form of hardware, software, or a combination of hardware and software. The software may be stored in a volatile or non-volatile storage device (such as a storage device, such as a ROM, or a memory such as a RAM, a memory chip, a device or an integrated circuit), or (for example) an optical or magnetic recordable storage medium or a machine (for example, a computer) readable storage medium (such as a compact disc (CD), a digital versatile disc (DVD), a disk or a tape) without a removable or rewritable function. It will be appreciated that the methods according to the various exemplary embodiments of the present invention may be implemented by a computer comprising a controller and a memory, a tool comprising such a memory or computer, or the like.
