Abstract

A mask is provided, including: an intermediate layer, including a first edge and a second edge opposite to each other; two ear straps, respectively connected to opposite ends of the mask; a first side layer, connected to and along the first edge of the intermediate layer; and a second side layer, connected to and along the second edge of the intermediate layer, and being non-overlapped with connection points at which the intermediate layer and the two ear straps are connected.

The present invention relates to a mask.

As the COVID-19 and influenza epidemics continue to spread around the world, people in various countries are getting more and more accustomed to wearing masks, and the demand for masks is also increasing, which has led to a large amount of resources and manpower being invested in the production and research and development of masks. Today, masks can be roughly divided into flat masks and three-dimensional masks. Among them, three-dimensional masks have higher wearing tightness and comfort, and are extremely popular among consumers.

The known three-dimensional mask generally includes a middle piece, two ear straps, an upper side piece and a lower side piece. The upper side piece and the lower side piece are respectively connected to the two opposite edges of the middle piece, and can provide a three-dimensional wearing configuration and space after unfolding. However, the upper side piece and the lower side piece of the known three-dimensional mask are fully overlapped on the two opposite ends of the middle piece. After the upper side piece and the lower side piece are unfolded and folded back to overlap the inner layer of the middle piece, the larger outer layer of the upper side piece and the lower side piece is exposed on the inner surface of the middle piece, and the outer layer of the upper side piece and the lower side piece is generally a relatively rough and hard waterproof layer, which causes discomfort when it is attached to the wearer's face.

In addition, the edge where the lower side piece connects to the middle piece is generally flatter, and the structural shape it can support relative to the wearer's face after unfolding is less three-dimensional and the space between them is less sufficient. The fit between the wearer's chin is less stable, and the effect of modifying the face shape is poor.

Therefore, it is necessary to provide a novel and advanced mask to solve the above problems.

The main purpose of the present invention is to provide a mask that has better wearing comfort and can provide a more three-dimensional structural form.

To achieve the above-mentioned purpose, the present invention provides a mask, comprising: a middle piece, including a first edge and a second edge opposite to each other; two ear straps, respectively connected to the two opposite ends of the mask; a first side piece, connected along the first edge of the middle piece; and a second side piece, connected along the second edge of the middle piece, and its position does not overlap with the connection part between the middle piece and the two ear straps.

The following is only an example to illustrate the possible implementation of the present invention, but it is not intended to limit the scope of protection of the present invention, so it should be stated in advance.

Please refer to Figures 1 to 8, which show a preferred embodiment of the present invention. The mask 1 of the present invention includes a middle piece 10, two ear straps 20, a first side piece 30 and a second side piece 40.

The middle piece 10 includes a first edge 11 and a second edge 12 opposite to each other; the two ear straps 20 are respectively connected to the two opposite ends 13 of the mask 1; the first side piece 30 is connected along the first edge 11 of the middle piece 10, and its position overlaps with two connecting parts 50 on the upper side of the middle piece 10 and the two ear straps 20; the second side piece 40 is connected along the second edge 12 of the middle piece 10, and its position does not overlap with two connecting parts 50 on the lower side of the middle piece 10 and the two ear straps 20. In this way, the mask 1 can fit the wearer's face more closely, and the uncomfortable outer layer (generally a waterproof layer) of the second side piece 40 at the corner of the mask 1 can be greatly reduced or avoided from contacting the wearer's face, thereby providing better wearing comfort.

The middle piece 10 further includes an inner layer 14 and an outer layer 15. The middle piece 10 may also be a structure of at least three layers. For example, a filter layer is provided between the inner layer 14 and the outer layer 15. The inner layer 14 is, for example, a softer and moisture-absorbing skin-friendly layer. The first side piece 30 and the second side piece 40 cover part of the inner layer 14 and define a revealing area 16 that reveals part of the inner layer 14. The revealing area 16 corresponds to and is larger than the connecting part 50. In this way, the mask 1 can be fully or almost fully fitted to the wearer's face with the more comfortable inner layer 14, and the wearing comfort is excellent.

The middle parts of the first edge 11 and the second edge 12 respectively form convex parts 111 and 121 in directions away from each other, and the convex parts 111 and 121 of the first edge 11 and the second edge 12 have different degrees of sharpness. In this embodiment, the second edge 12 is close to the chin of the wearer. Preferably, the convex part 121 of the second edge 12 is greater than the convex part 111 of the first edge 11, which is more suitable for the face shape of the wearer.

In this embodiment, the first side panel 30 includes an inner layer 31, an outer layer 32, a pressure strip 33 and a lip edge band 34 (the first side panel 30 may also be a structure of at least three layers, for example, a filter layer is provided between the inner layer 31 and the outer layer 32), the pressure strip 33 is located between the inner layer 31 and the outer layer 32 and extends transversely to the opposite side of the mask. Between the two end portions 13, the lip-shaped edge band 34 extends along the pressure strip 33 and its band width W is not less than 10.0 mm. Preferably, the lip-shaped edge band 34 includes a lip recess 341, and the depth of the lip recess 341 is not less than 3.0 mm. Thereby, there is a wider zone that is easier to deform with the nose bridge and can fully fit the nose bridge, avoiding moisture overflow and causing fog trouble. Preferably, when the first side piece 30 and the second side piece 40 are overlapped with the middle piece 10, the convex portion 421 of the second side piece 40 facing the first edge 11 overlaps the pressure strip 33, so that the proportion of the position of the mask 1 fitting the nose bridge and the chin is more balanced, which can prevent the mask 1 from shifting or sliding off the nose bridge when the face moves (such as opening and closing the mouth).

The second side panel 40 may be a structure of at least three layers like the first side panel 30. In this embodiment, the middle parts of the two opposite edges 41, 42 of the second side panel 40 form convex parts 411, 421 facing the first edge 11 and the second edge 12 respectively, and the convex parts 411, 421 of the two opposite edges 41, 42 of the second side panel 40 have different degrees of sharpness, and the convex part 411 of the edge 41 is greater than the convex part 421 of the edge 42. Preferably, the second edge 12 is V-shaped and its angle is 120 degrees to 150 degrees, and the second side panel 40 connected along the second edge 12 of the middle panel 10 is also V-shaped and its angle is 120 degrees to 150 degrees. Thus, when worn, the mask 1 can form a more three-dimensional V-shaped structure and more sufficient space relative to the wearer's face, and the V-shaped structure and the wearer's chin can also present a more stable wearing state, and has an excellent face-shaping effect.

The second side piece 40 has two oblique edge portions 43 adjacent to the connecting portion 50 between the middle piece 10 and the two ear straps 20. The two oblique edge portions 43 extend transversely to the second edge 12, respectively. Each oblique edge portion 43 is connected to the middle piece 10 by a weld line 44. The weld line 44 extends as a whole within a range of 3.5 cm from one end 13 of the mask 1. A triangular area 45 is defined between the weld line 44 and the second edge 12. The area of the triangular area 45 is less than 2.0 square centimeters. In this way, it can be ensured that the uncomfortable outer layer 32 of the second side panel 40 at the corner of the mask 1 is reduced or avoided from contacting the wearer's face, which has better wearing comfort; and the weld line 44 is shorter and the triangular area 45 is smaller, which helps to effectively form a more three-dimensional V-shaped structure when the mask is worn.

Claims (9)

A mask comprises: a middle piece, comprising a first edge and a second edge opposite to each other; two ear straps, respectively connected to two opposite ends of the mask; a first side piece, connected along the first edge of the middle piece, and its position overlaps with two connection parts of the middle piece and the upper sides of the two ear straps; and a second side piece, connected along the second edge of the middle piece, and its position does not overlap with two connection parts of the middle piece and the lower sides of the two ear straps. Overlap; wherein the second side piece has two oblique edges adjacent to the connection between the middle piece and the two ear straps, the two oblique edges extend transversely to the second edge, each oblique edge is connected to the middle piece by a weld line, the weld line extends as a whole within a range of 3.5 cm from one end of the mask, a triangular area is defined between the weld line and the second edge, and the area of the triangular area is less than 2.0 square centimeters. As described in claim 1, the middle piece further includes an inner layer and an outer layer, the first side piece and the second side piece cover part of the inner layer and define a revealing area that reveals part of the inner layer, and the revealing area corresponds to and is larger than the connection part. The mask as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first side panel comprises an inner layer, an outer layer, a pressure strip and a lip edge band, the pressure strip is located between the inner layer and the outer layer and extends transversely between two opposite ends of the mask, the lip edge band extends along the pressure strip and has a band width of not less than 10.0 mm. A mask as described in claim 3, wherein the lip-shaped edge band includes a lip recess, and the depth of the lip recess is not less than 3.0 mm. As described in claim 1, the middle parts of the first edge and the second edge form convex parts in directions away from each other, and the convex parts of the first edge and the second edge have different degrees of convexity. As described in claim 1, the middle parts of the two opposite edges of the second side piece form convex parts toward the first edge and the second edge respectively. A mask as described in claim 6, wherein the convex portions of the two opposite edges of the second side panel have different degrees of convexity. A mask as described in claim 1, wherein the second edge is V-shaped and its angle is 120 to 150 degrees. The mask as claimed in claim 4, wherein the middle piece further comprises an inner layer and an outer layer, the first side piece and the second side piece cover a portion of the inner layer and define an exposed area for exposing a portion of the inner layer, the exposed area corresponds to and is larger than the connection portion; the middle portions of the first edge and the second edge respectively form convex portions in directions away from each other, and the tips of the convex portions of the first edge and the second edge are The convexity of the second side piece is different; the middle parts of the two opposite edges of the second side piece respectively form convex parts facing the first edge and the second edge; the convexity of the convex parts of the two opposite edges of the second side piece is different; the second edge is V-shaped and its angle is 120 degrees to 150 degrees; when the first side piece and the second side piece are overlapped with the middle piece, the convex part of the second side piece facing the first edge overlaps the pressure strip.
