An indoor one-to-many air purification system which can be installed inside a building is provided. The system includes: an external air intake pipe, a plurality of internal circulation air pipe combinations, a ventilation module, a plurality of control modules, and a plurality of monitoring units. When any one of the control modules controls to open an intake switch and an exhaust switch in an independent space where it is located, the ventilation module is turned on and operated from a closed state. When all the control modules close the intake switch and the exhaust switch in the independent space, the ventilation module is closed for operation. When any monitoring unit detects that the content of a target inclusion exceeds a threshold value, the ventilation module opens the communication with the external air intake pipe. When all monitoring units detect that the content of the target inclusion is lower than the threshold value, the ventilation module closes the communication with the external air intake pipe.

Description

Indoor one-to-many air purification system

The present invention relates to an air freshener system, in particular to an indoor one-to-many air freshener system.

In a closed room, the temperature is usually adjusted by an air conditioning system, such as an air conditioner. In the past, household air conditioners were usually stand-alone, that is, a single machine had an independent compressor, which could cool and circulate the air in a specific space. With the reduction of space and the improvement of compressor performance, it is now wasteful to use a single compressor for a smaller space. Therefore, split air conditioners have become popular. Multiple indoor units can share a compressor, which reduces the volume restrictions during installation and saves costs.

Although traditional air conditioners or air conditioning systems can adjust the temperature so that people can move around in a suitable temperature, and even have a sterilizing effect, reducing harmful bacteria in the cold and warm air, they cannot change the composition of the air to keep the air circulating indoors fresh. For example, if there are more people moving around in a closed space, the concentration of carbon dioxide will increase, and a higher concentration of carbon dioxide can easily make people feel tired. If there is no ventilation window design indoors, in order to obtain fresh air from outdoors, there are now fresh air fans or total heat exchangers on the market that can be installed and used. Simply put, a fresh air fan is a multifunctional exhaust fan that can draw outdoor air into the room through a fresh air duct connected to the outside, and at the same time exhaust the polluted air indoors. The full heat exchanger exchanges heat between the inside and outside air based on the fresh air fan to maintain the indoor temperature.

At present, fresh air fans are all single-unit suction and exhaust, and cannot be circulated to the outside by a central host like a split air conditioner. For the limited space of modern residences, this will lead to an increase in the space required to place the circulation host and fresh air ducts, and installation is troublesome. Although the full heat exchanger has a many-to-one design, it is used in a unified operation, which is a waste for spaces without air circulation requirements.

Since the devices used for indoor and outdoor air exchange have the above inconveniences, a new type of air purification system is needed to solve these problems.

In order to make the description of the disclosed content more detailed and complete, the following is an illustrative description of the implementation and specific embodiments of the present invention.

Please see Figure 1, which is a component architecture diagram of an indoor one-to-many air freshener system (hereinafter referred to as the system) according to the present invention. The system is installed in a building C, such as an apartment, factory, office building, activity center, etc. Several independent spaces are separated in the building C. An independent space is an area separated by partitions or fixed objects and is not directly connected to other independent spaces, such as a room, an office, or an activity space temporarily separated by a curtain. In this embodiment, the building C includes two independent spaces, a first independent space S1 and a second independent space S2, and the separation between them is shown by a thick black line. It should be noted that the system can be applied to more than two independent spaces. The use of two independent spaces in Figure 1 is only an example and is not used to limit the present invention.

The system includes an external air intake pipe 11, a plurality of internal circulation air pipe assemblies 12, a ventilation module 13, a plurality of control modules 14, a plurality of monitoring units 15 and an electric module 16. The external air intake pipe 11 is a pipe used by the system to obtain fresh air from the external space of the building C. It can be installed along the ceiling of the building C and extend from indoors to outdoors. The external air intake pipe 11 has a first end 111 and a second end 112. The first end 111 faces the external space of the building C, and the second end 112 is connected to the ventilation module 13 in a sealed manner (that is, the connection and sealing states can be selectively switched).

In this embodiment, there are two independent spaces, and each independent space is connected to a set of internal circulation air pipe assemblies 12, so there are two internal circulation air pipe assemblies 12. The number of internal circulation air pipe assemblies 12 is the same as the number of independent spaces, and is at least 2 sets. The actual number used is not limited by this embodiment. The internal circulation air pipe assembly 12 is used to connect the ventilation module 13 and the air flow between each independent space, and includes an intake internal circulation air pipe 121 and an exhaust internal circulation air pipe 122. The function of the intake internal circulation air pipe 121 is to introduce the air in the ventilation module 13 into the independent space, and has a third end 1211 and a fourth end 1212. The third end 1211 faces one of the two independent spaces inside the building C, such as the first independent space S1, and is provided with an air intake switch 1211a to open or close the connection with the aforementioned independent space. The exhaust internal circulation air pipe 122 is used to suck the air in the independent space back to the ventilation module 13, and has a fifth end 1221 and a sixth end 1222. The fifth end 1221 faces the aforementioned independent space, and is provided with an exhaust switch 1221a to open or close the connection with the aforementioned independent space.

The ventilation module 13 is a technical element of the system for guiding airflow and circulating and refreshing each independent space. In terms of form, the ventilation module 13 can be connected to the second end 112 in a closed manner, and is connected to the two fourth ends 1212 and the two sixth ends 1222. The ventilation module 13 can be controlled to be opened or closed. In terms of overall function, when the ventilation module 13 is turned on, the ventilation module 13 guides the air in the external space to enter the ventilation module 13 through the opened and connected second end 112. It should be noted that the second end 112 does not necessarily maintain an open and connected state to the outside. If the second end 112 is closed, the ventilation module 13 can still operate to guide the airflow, but the airflow circulation in this state can only be between the ventilation module 13 and the independent space. That is, the ventilation module 13 guides the airflow from the open third end 1211 to the corresponding independent space, and returns to the ventilation module 13 from the open fifth end 1221 of the corresponding exhaust internal circulation air pipe 122. If all the third ends 1211 and the fifth ends 1221 are closed, the ventilation module 13 cannot circulate air to the independent space and will be closed.

Furthermore, the ventilation module 13 includes a housing 131, a fan 132, a ventilation valve 133 and a control circuit 134. The housing 131 is used to separate the independent space so that the airflow can flow along the predetermined boundary therein when the fan 132 is running, and the air circulation effect will not be poor due to air leakage. The housing 131 is provided with a plurality of through holes, and the through holes are located at the junction with the second end 112, the fourth end 1212 and the sixth end 1222. The through holes are in close contact with the outer periphery of the second end 112, the fourth end 1212 and the sixth end 1222, so that each through hole can be connected to the second end 112 in a sealed manner, or connected to one of the fourth ends 1212 or one of the sixth ends 1222. In this embodiment, as can be seen from FIG. 1, there are a total of 5 through holes. The fan 132 is installed in the housing 131 and is started to generate airflow. According to the present invention, the fan 132 can be, but is not limited to, an axial flow fan, a centrifugal fan, a diagonal flow fan or a cross flow fan. The ventilation valve 133 is tightly connected to the second end 112 through a corresponding through hole. The ventilation valve 133 is controlled to open or close the connection between the ventilation module 13 and the second end 112. The control circuit 134 is signal-connected to the two control modules 14 and the two monitoring units 15. The control circuit 134 (ventilation module 13) is signal-connected to the control module 14 and the monitoring unit 15 by wired signal connection. In practice, the connection method can comply with RS-485 or RS-232 specifications. In the diagram, the dotted line represents the power line and signal line connecting the two objects. The control circuit 134 is controlled by the two control modules 14 to start or shut down the fan 132, and can open or close the ventilation valve 133 according to the monitoring result of the monitoring unit 15. In other embodiments, the control circuit 134 (ventilation module 13) and the control module 14 and the monitoring unit 15 can also be connected by wireless signals, and the connection method complies with the Wi-Fi, Zigbee or Bluetooth specifications. In other words, the control circuit 134, the control module 14 and the monitoring unit 15 all have the aforementioned RF radio frequency modules, and communicate by transmitting signals by electromagnetic waves. At this time, the dotted line represents the power line connecting the two objects.

In addition to introducing air from the outside space into the room to reduce the content of target substances in the room, the ventilation module 13 can also provide auxiliary functions of dust removal and sterilization. As shown in Figure 1, the ventilation module 13 may include at least one air filter unit 135 to block suspended particles in the air flowing through the ventilation module 13. The air filter unit 135 can be but not limited to a high-efficiency filter (High-Efficiency Particulate Air, HEPA), electrostatic cotton, primary filter iron mesh or composite filter. In addition, the ventilation module 13 may also include at least one sterilization unit 136 to kill bacteria and viruses in the air flowing through the ventilation module. The sterilization unit 136 can be an ultraviolet sterilization lamp or a high-voltage electrode mesh.

In this embodiment, two control modules are used as an example to illustrate that each control module 14 is installed in each independent space connected to the internal circulation air pipe assembly 12, such as installed on the wall of the first independent space S1. The control module 14 is connected to the control circuit 134 of the ventilation module 13 by signal, providing the user with an operation to synchronously open or close the intake switch 1211a and the exhaust switch 1221a in the independent space where the control module 14 is located, and notifying the ventilation module 13 (control circuit 134) of the operation result. For the detailed structure of the control module 14, please see Figure 2, which is a block diagram of the control module 14 and the connected objects. The control module 14 includes a switch unit 141, a signal connection unit 142 and a control unit 143. The switch unit 141 can be operated by touch, sound or light to synchronously open or close the air intake switch 1211a and the exhaust switch 1221a in the independent space where the control module 14 is located, and send out an opening signal or a closing signal. In other words, the switch unit 141 can be a manual switch, a touch panel, a voice-controlled switch or a light-controlled switch. In this embodiment, the switch unit 141 is a touch panel, and a message guiding the user to open or close the air intake switch 1211a and the exhaust switch 1221a is displayed on the panel. The signal connection unit 142 is connected to the control circuit 134 of the ventilation module 13 by signal, and can be an RS-485 connector or a Bluetooth module in practice. The control unit 143 is signal-connected to the switch unit 141 and the signal connection unit 142, and in practice includes an electronic component of a controller, which can convert the aforementioned opening signal and closing signal into corresponding electrical signals or electromagnetic wave signals, and transmit them to the ventilation module 13 through the signal connection unit 142. When the ventilation module 13 receives the opening signal sent by any control module 14, the ventilation module 13 (fan 132) is turned on and operated from the closed state; when the ventilation module 13 receives the closing signal sent by all control modules 14, the ventilation module 13 is closed and operated. That is, when any control module 14 controls to open the air intake switch 1211a and the air exhaust switch 1221a in the independent space, the ventilation module 13 is turned on from the closed state; when all control modules 14 close the air intake switch 1211a and the air exhaust switch 1221a in the independent space, the ventilation module 13 is closed.

In this embodiment, two monitoring units 15 are used as an example for explanation. Each monitoring unit 15 is installed in an independent space, such as on the ceiling of the second independent space S2, and is connected to the signal of the ventilation module 13. The function of the monitoring unit 15 is to monitor the content of a target substance in the independent space, so as to introduce fresh air from the external space into the independent space to reduce the content of the target substance in the independent space. The method is as follows: when any monitoring unit 15 detects that the content of the target substance exceeds a threshold value, the ventilation module 13 opens the connection with the second end 112, that is, opens the ventilation valve 133; when all monitoring units 15 detect that the content of the target substance is lower than the threshold value, the ventilation module 13 closes the connection with the second end 112, that is, closes the ventilation valve 133. When the ventilation valve 133 is opened and the fan 132 is running at the same time, the air in the external space will be sucked into the ventilation module 13 to reduce the content of the target substance contained in the circulating air. When the ventilation valve 133 is closed and the fan 132 is still running, the ventilation module 13 continues to circulate air for each independent space, but the air in the external space cannot enter the ventilation module 13 to reduce the content of the target substance. According to the present invention, the system does not need to set up an external exhaust pipe for exhausting the external space, because the air sucked into the building C will squeeze the original air to the outside after reaching the independent space. Since each independent space or even the building C is not completely sealed, the excess air will flow slowly to the external space along its gaps to maintain the pressure balance in the building C.

In addition, according to the present invention, the target content can be carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, formaldehyde or PM2.5 suspended matter, and the monitoring unit 15 can be a carbon monoxide detector, a carbon dioxide detector, a formaldehyde detector or a PM2.5 suspended matter detector. Take carbon dioxide as the target content as an example. When the carbon dioxide content in the room is too high, people will feel dizzy and want to sleep. The user can set the threshold value of carbon dioxide, such as 400PPM. When the carbon dioxide in the independent space is 600PPM, the ventilation valve 133 is controlled by the control circuit 134 to open the ventilation valve 133 to introduce the air with a lower carbon dioxide content from the outside into the independent space of the building C for circulation until the carbon dioxide content in all independent spaces is lower than 400PPM.

The power module 16 is electrically connected to an external power source (such as a power grid socket, not shown) and a control circuit 134, and converts the power of the external power source into a working direct current, which is provided to the ventilation module 13, the control modules 14 and the monitoring units 15. In practice, considering the convenience of on-site use, the power of the control module 14 and the monitoring unit 15 may not use the working direct current of the power module 16, but adopt appropriate power from a nearby power source.

Please see FIG. 3, which is a component structure diagram of another embodiment of an indoor one-to-many air freshener system according to the present invention. Most of the components and technical features are the same as those of the embodiment disclosed in FIG. 1, so the components with the same symbols in FIG. 3 and FIG. 1 are the same, and their types, functions and operation methods are not described in detail. In this embodiment, the only difference from the previous embodiment is the monitoring unit 15'. The type and function of the monitoring unit 15' are the same as those of the monitoring unit 15, but there is only one monitoring unit 15', and its installation position is inside the ventilation module 13 (inside the housing 131), rather than in an independent space. The monitoring unit 15' is connected to the control circuit 134 of the ventilation module 13 by signal, and can monitor the content of the target content in the internal space of the ventilation module 13. The definition of the target content is the same as described above. The internal space is the place where the air flows when the ventilation module 13 is in operation. Monitoring the content of the target content therein is to synchronously monitor the content of the target content in all independent spaces. Similarly, when the monitoring unit 15' detects that the content of the target content exceeds a threshold value, the ventilation module 13 opens the connection with the second end 112, guides the air in the external space to enter all independent spaces for circulation, and dilutes the content of the target content. When the monitoring unit 15' detects that the content of the target content is lower than the threshold value, the ventilation module 13 closes the connection with the second end 112. The control circuit 134 can open or close the ventilation valve 133 according to the monitoring result of the monitoring unit 15'. The advantage of this embodiment is that it can save the installation and installation cost of the monitoring unit.
