Generally speaking, at present, during the entire process from production completion to transportation or storage and sales locations (such as supermarkets), the temperature of specific items (such as food) needs to be kept below a specific temperature to prevent the items from spoiling.

Currently, there is a label developed on the market that can indicate whether an item has been stored in an environment below a certain temperature throughout the entire process. This label is usually used by first peeling off the release sheet, then attaching the label to the item, and then removing the separator that separates the indicator and the absorbent material. However, the use of this label requires at least three steps to activate, which is quite inconvenient for the user, especially when a large number of labels are required, which is labor-intensive and time-consuming. Therefore, researchers in this field are currently working to solve this problem.

1。Next, the manufacturing method of the temperature indicating label 1 will be described. In this embodiment, a plurality of temperature indicating labels 1 can be manufactured continuously in an automated process.

Please refer to Figures 3 to 7, Figure 3 is a flow chart of the manufacturing method of the temperature indicating label of Figure 1. Figures 4 to 7 illustrate the manufacturing process of the temperature indicating label.

13。As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 , first, as in step S01, a release layer 10 is provided, wherein the upper surface 11 and the lower surface 12 are provided with a substrate 21 and a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 60, respectively. The substrate 21 is fixed to the upper surface 11 of the release layer 10 through the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 70, and the release layer 10 has a fixing groove 13 formed in advance.

Next, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 5 , the process proceeds to step S02 , where the reagent layer 30 is disposed on the substrate 21 . Specifically, a plurality of absorbents 31 in a pre-made absorbent roll are sequentially disposed on the substrate 21 , and then the identification agent 32 is added to the absorbent 31 so that the identification agent 32 is absorbed by the absorbent 31 .

13。Next, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 6 , the process proceeds to step S03, where the fixing portion 51 of the separator 50 is fixed on the release layer 10, and the separator 53 of the separator 50 is located on one side of the reagent layer 30. Specifically, the separators 53 of the plurality of separators 50 in the prefabricated separator roll are sequentially arranged in the fixing grooves 13 of the release layer 10, and fixed to the fixing grooves 13 of the release layer 10 through the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 60.

Next, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 7 , the process proceeds to step S04 , where the packaging material 22 provided with the indicator layer 40 is fixed on the substrate 21 , so that the substrate 21 and the packaging material 22 together cover the reagent layer 30 , the partition portion 53 of the partition layer 50 , and the indicator layer 40 , and the partition portion 53 of the partition layer 50 is between the reagent layer 30 and the indicator layer 40 .

Specifically, a packaging material roll can be prepared in advance. The packaging material roll includes a plurality of packaging materials 22, and the packaging materials 22 can be provided with an indicator layer 40 and a bonding layer 80 on one side of the packaging material 22, and a printing ink layer 90 and a glazing film layer 100 on the other side. In step S04, the packaging materials 22 in the pre-prepared packaging material roll are fixed to the substrate 21 in sequence through the bonding layer 80, so that the substrate 21 and the packaging material 22 cover the absorbent 31, the partition 53 of the partition layer 50 and the indicator layer 40 together, and the partition 53 of the partition layer 50 is between the reagent layer 30 and the indicator layer 40.

Thus, through the above steps, the prototypes of these temperature indicating labels 1 have been completed. Then, these temperature indicating labels 1 are subjected to a precise cutting process and can be rolled up for storage.

In this embodiment, since a plurality of temperature indicating labels 1 can be continuously manufactured through the above-mentioned automated process, these temperature indicating labels 1 can be rapidly mass-produced. In addition, these temperature indicating labels 1 can be rolled into a temperature indicating label roll, so that they are easy to store and preserve.

Next, the method of using the temperature indicating label 1 will be described. Please refer to Figures 8 to 12, which are schematic diagrams showing the use process of the temperature indicating label 1 of Figure 1.

In this embodiment, these temperature indicating labels 1 can be sequentially attached to a plurality of objects O through a label dispensing machine M. The following takes the attachment of one temperature indicating label 1 to one object O as an example for explanation.

O。As shown in FIG8 , the release layer 10 is mounted on the label dispensing machine M, and then the label dispensing machine M is brought close to the object O. Then, the label dispensing machine M drives the release layer 10 to move. Once the release layer 10 and the substrate 21 move to the peeling tip M1 of the label dispensing machine M, the release layer 10 starts to move in the reverse direction to peel the release layer 10 off the substrate 21. In this way, the substrate 21 is attached to the object O through the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 70.

As shown in FIG9 and FIG10, when the label dispensing machine M continues to drive the release layer 10, the fixing portion 51 of the partition layer 50 fixed to the release layer 10 drives the partition portion 53 to be withdrawn from the reagent layer 30 and the indicator layer 40 through the connecting portion 52, so that the reagent layer 30 and the indicator layer 40 are in contact. It can be seen that after the substrate 21 of the label body 20 is separated from the release layer 10, the temperature indicating label 1 will be activated accordingly, so the temperature indicating label 1 can be activated in a simple and efficient manner.

As shown in FIG. 11 and FIG. 12 , when the label dispensing machine M continues to drive the release layer 10, the width W4 of the opening 24 is smaller than the width W2 of the partition 53, so the partition 53 cannot be drawn out of the opening 24 into the accommodation space 23. Therefore, the fixing portion 51 of the partition layer 50 fixed to the release layer 10 is pulled when the label dispensing machine M continues to drive the release layer 10, so that the partition layer 50 is broken from the slits 521 of the connecting portion 52. In this way, the process of attaching the temperature indicating label 1 to the object O is completed, and the process of attaching the next temperature indicating label 1 to another object O can continue.

In this embodiment, by providing a plurality of slits 521 at one end of the connecting portion 52 of the partition layer 50 adjacent to the partition portion 53 and setting an acute angle θ between each slit 521 and the removable direction D of the partition portion 53, a shear failure can be simulated to ensure that when the fixing portion 51 of the partition layer 50 is pulled, the partition layer 50 breaks along the slits 521 of the connecting portion 52.

It should be noted that the withdrawable direction D between each slit 521 and the partition 53 is not limited to the sharp angle θ, and the angle between each slit 521 and the partition 53 can be adjusted according to actual needs.

In this embodiment, two anti-break grooves 54 extending inward are formed at the junction of the connecting portion 52 and the fixing portion 51 of the partition layer 50, so that the fixing portion 51 of the partition layer 50 can be prevented from being pulled and instantly separated from the release layer 10. In addition, the anti-break grooves 54 are provided with arc segments 542, so that the tensile strength of the fixing portion 51 can be increased to prevent the fixing portion 51 of the partition layer 50 from breaking.

It should be noted that the two anti-breakage grooves 54 are optional structural configurations. If there are no problems mentioned above, the two anti-breakage grooves can be omitted.

In addition, the width W1 of the connecting portion 52 of the partition layer 50 is not limited to being smaller than the width W2 of the partition portion 53 and the width W3 of the fixing portion 51. In other embodiments, the partition layer may be a sheet with uniform width. In this way, the partition layer can be completely pulled out of the accommodating space.

In this embodiment, the object O is, for example, food and needs to be stored in an environment at a specific temperature. When the object O is at an inappropriate temperature, the solid identification agent 32 will melt, and the indicator layer 40 in contact with the reagent layer 30 will absorb the identification agent 32, so that the indicator layer 40 gradually becomes wet from the first end 41 to the second end 42. Therefore, the personnel can know that the object O has been in an inappropriate temperature environment and the length of time in the environment by the wetness of the indicator layer 40 and the length of time it has been in the environment.

Next, please refer to FIG. 13 , which is a cross-sectional schematic diagram of a temperature indicating label disclosed according to the second embodiment of the present invention.

In this embodiment, the reagent layer 30a is adjusted to correspond to the second end 42a of the indicator layer 40a, and the connecting portion 52a of the partition layer 50a is extended so that the partition portion 53a of the partition layer 50a is located between the reagent layer 30a and the second end 42a of the indicator layer 40a.

Next, please refer to FIG. 14 , which is a cross-sectional schematic diagram of a temperature indicating label disclosed according to the third embodiment of the present invention.

The temperature indicating label 1b of the present embodiment is similar to the temperature indicating label 1 described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 2 . The temperature indicating label 1b of the present embodiment also includes a release layer 10b, a label body 20b, a reagent layer 30b, an indicating layer 40b, a separating layer 50b, a first pressure-sensitive rubber layer 60b, a second pressure-sensitive rubber layer 70b, a connecting rubber layer 80b, a printing ink layer 90b and a glazing film layer 100b. The main difference between the temperature indicating label 1b of this embodiment and the temperature indicating label 1 described in Figures 1 to 2 above is the position of the reagent layer 30b. Therefore, only the position of the reagent layer 30b is described in detail below, and the structure and stacking relationship of the aforementioned components are as described in the above paragraph describing the temperature indicating label 1 shown in Figures 1 to 2, and will not be repeated here.

In this embodiment, the reagent layer 30b is adjusted to correspond to the central portion 43b of the indicator layer 40b between the first end 41b and the second end 42b, and the connecting portion 52b of the partition layer 50b is extended so that the partition portion 53b is located between the reagent layer 30b and the central portion 43b of the indicator layer 40b.

Next, the separator layers of different embodiments will be introduced below. These separator layers can replace the separator layers in the above-mentioned embodiments. The separator layers of the following embodiments are similar to the separator layer shown in FIG. 1. The difference between the separator layers of the following embodiments and the separator layer shown in FIG. 1 is mainly in the form of the slits or anti-breakage grooves. Therefore, the differences are mainly introduced below, and the same parts are not repeated.

Please refer to FIG. 15 , which is a plan view of a separation layer disclosed in the fourth embodiment of the present invention.

In this embodiment, the slits 521c of the connecting portion 52c of the partition layer 50c adjacent to the partition 53c include a plurality of first slits 5211c and a plurality of second slits 5212c. The first slits 5211c are closer to the partition 53c than the second slits 5212c, and the first slits 5211c are arranged along a first straight line L1 perpendicular to the removable direction D of the partition 53c. The second slits 5212c are arranged along a second straight line L2 perpendicular to the removable direction D of the partition 53c. The distance T1 between two adjacent first slits 5211c is greater than the distance T2 between two adjacent second slits 5212c. With the above configuration, it can be ensured that when the fixing portion 51c of the partition layer 50c is pulled, the partition layer 50c is broken along the slits 521c of the connecting portion 52c.

Please refer to FIG. 16 , which is a plan view of a separation layer disclosed in the fifth embodiment of the present invention.

In this embodiment, the slits 521d adjacent to the partition 53d of the connecting portion 52d of the partition layer 50d are arranged along a straight line L3 perpendicular to the removable direction D of the partition 53d. Each of the slits 521d has a sharp corner 5211d. The sharp corners 5211d of two adjacent slits 521d are respectively oriented toward the partition 53d and the fixing portion 51d of the partition layer 50d. By the above configuration, it can be ensured that when the fixing portion 51d of the partition layer 50d is pulled, the partition layer 50d is broken along the slits 521d of the connecting portion 52d.

Please refer to FIG. 17 , which is a plan view of a separation layer disclosed in the sixth embodiment of the present invention.

In this embodiment, two anti-break grooves 54e extending inward are formed at the junction of the connecting portion 52e and the fixing portion 51e of the partition layer 50e. Each anti-break groove 54e has a first oblique line segment 541e, a second oblique line segment 542e and an arc segment 543e connected in sequence, and the first oblique line segment 541e is closer to the partition portion 53e than the second oblique line segment 542e and the arc segment 543e. The distance between the first oblique line segments 541e of the two anti-break grooves 54e gradually narrows in the direction toward the second oblique line segment 542e, and the distance between the second oblique line segments 542e of the two anti-break grooves 54e gradually increases in the direction toward the arc segment 543e. Through the above configuration, the tensile strength of the fixing portion 51e can be increased to prevent the fixing portion 51e of the partition layer 50e from breaking.

Please refer to FIG. 17 , which is a plan view of a separation layer disclosed in the sixth embodiment of the present invention.

In this embodiment, two anti-breakage grooves 54f extending inward are formed at the junction of the connecting portion 52f and the fixing portion 51f of the partition layer 50f, and both anti-breakage grooves 54f are arc-shaped grooves. By the above configuration, the tensile strength of the fixing portion 51f can be increased to prevent the fixing portion 51f of the partition layer 50f from breaking.

According to the temperature indicating label and the manufacturing method thereof disclosed in the above-mentioned embodiment, the fixed portion of the separating layer is located outside the accommodation space of the label body and fixed to the release layer, and the separating portion of the separating layer is located within the accommodation space of the label body and can be withdrawn between the reagent layer and the indicator layer. After the release layer is peeled off from the label body, the separating portion can be withdrawn from the reagent layer and the indicator layer through the fixed portion of the separating layer, so that the reagent layer and the indicator layer are in contact. In this way, after the label body is separated from the release layer, the temperature indicating label will be activated accordingly, so the temperature indicating label can be activated in a simple and efficient manner.

In addition, since a plurality of temperature indicator labels can be continuously manufactured through an automated process, these temperature indicator labels can be rapidly mass-produced. In addition, these temperature indicator labels can be rolled up into a temperature indicator label roll, so they are convenient for storage and preservation. Moreover, through the use of a label dispensing machine, these temperature indicator labels in the temperature indicator label roll can be continuously attached to a plurality of items, so the operation of attaching temperature indicator labels can be completed efficiently.

In addition, by providing multiple slits at one end of the connecting portion of the partition layer adjacent to the partition portion, and by providing sharp angles between each slit and the partition portion in the direction of withdrawal, a shear failure can be simulated to ensure that when the fixed portion of the partition layer is pulled, the partition layer breaks along the slits of the connecting portion. Furthermore, by providing two anti-break grooves extending inwardly at the junction of the connecting portion and the fixed portion of the partition layer, the fixed portion of the partition layer can be prevented from being separated from the release layer instantly when being pulled. In addition, by providing the anti-break grooves with arc segments, the tensile strength of the fixed portion can be increased to prevent the fixed portion of the partition layer from breaking. Therefore, the label dispensing machine can quickly drive the release layer to allow the label body to be quickly peeled off the release layer and attached to the object without the problem of unsuccessful activation of the temperature recognition label.

Furthermore, since the partition of the partition layer remains between the reagent layer and the indicator layer when the temperature indicator label is not activated, even if the identification agent is in a liquid state, the identification agent will not be absorbed by the indicator layer. Therefore, the temperature indicator label can be stored in a room temperature environment without being specially stored in an environment below a specific temperature, thereby reducing storage costs.

Although the present invention is disclosed as above with the aforementioned preferred embodiments, it is not intended to limit the present invention. Any person skilled in the art may make some changes and modifications without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Therefore, the scope of patent protection of the present invention shall be subject to the scope of the patent application attached to this specification.
