Abstract

An intercom system and a method thereof adapted for communities with different scales using telephony virtual private number are provided. Merely the physical telephony line and telecomm virtual network service should be installed in a community; the embodiment of the present invention can achieve any combination of communications between community, home and intercom, so as to adapt for different communities.

Communities or buildings usually have an outdoor station (or intercom) at the door to facilitate calls between visitors and people in the room. However, most of the existing community intercom communication technologies need to be equipped with additional lines or telephones, resulting in costs related to equipment maintenance. In addition, as phone failures gradually occur, some users may not want to repair their own phones, resulting in fewer and fewer users who can actually make calls.

In addition, the corresponding functions of the existing enterprise telecom virtual network can only be applied within a single enterprise, and there is no set of rules for repeated use.

The communication intercom system of the embodiment of the present invention includes several communication terminals and a virtual network server. Each communication terminal is connected to the telephone network. The virtual web server is connected to the telephone network. The first terminal among the communication terminals is dialed a group of terminal simplification codes, and the inter-terminal code is different from the physical telecommunication number of the telephone network and corresponds to the second terminal among the communication terminals. For example, the coding rules for setting the community shortcode correspondence table are as follows.
