The invention relates to a connection socket. More specifically, the present invention relates to a connection socket with electrical components.

Many electronic devices can be electrically connected with other electronic devices through connection structures, so as to transmit power, signals or data between each other. However, during the aforementioned transmission process, if the current flowing through the connector is large, and the connection structure is not properly designed, it may cause the plug and socket in the connection structure to heat up at the contacted terminals, resulting in a reduction in transmission efficiency, or Furthermore, the connector is damaged due to high temperature. Therefore, how to solve the foregoing problems becomes an important issue.

In some embodiments of the present invention, the distance between the aforementioned first contact point and the second contact point is smaller than the distance between the second contact point and the fixed end. It is understood that these terms, such as those defined in commonly used dictionaries, should be interpreted as having a meaning consistent with the background or context of the related art and the present invention, and not in an idealized or overly formal manner Interpretation, unless specifically defined herein.

First, please refer to FIG. 1 , the connection socket 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention can be a receiver at the female end, and can be connected with a connector 20 at the male end. By connecting the connection socket 10 and the connector 20 to each other, power, signals, and/or data can be transmitted between the two. For example, in this embodiment, the connectors 20 can be multiple on the charging plug (such as alternating current (AC) charging plug) or direct current (DC) charging plug). One of the terminals, and the connection socket 10 is one of the multiple terminals on the charging interface.

In some embodiments, the connector 20 can be a terminal on a household AC power plug, and the connection socket 10 can be a terminal on a household AC power socket. In some embodiments, the connector 20 and the connection socket 10 can be AC/DC electric vehicle connectors, AC/DC machine tool connectors, or terminals on plugs and sockets of connection equipment that need to transmit large currents, but not Not limited to this.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 , the connection socket 10 may include an opening 11 through which the aforementioned connector 20 can pass through the opening 11 to connect with the connection socket 10 . The connection socket 10 mainly includes a conductive element 100 , an electrical element 200 , and a positioning element 300 . The conductive element 100 may include conductive material, and may have a groove 110 communicating with the opening 11 . For example, the conductive element 100 can be made of pure copper and brass.

R。The aforementioned groove 110 has a bottom surface 111 and a sidewall 112 , wherein the bottom surface 111 faces the opening 11 , and the sidewall 112 extends from the bottom surface 111 to the opening 11 . In this embodiment, the depth of the groove 110 (that is, the distance from the bottom surface 111 to the opening 11) is approximately equal to the length of the electrical component 200, and the size of the groove 110 adjacent to the opening 11 is larger than that of the groove 110 adjacent to the bottom surface 111. size. In addition, the center of the bottom surface 111 to the center of the opening 11 may be defined as the main axis R of the groove 110 .

Please refer to Figures 1-4, the electrical element 200 is disposed in the groove 110 of the conductive element 100, and includes a body 210 and a plurality of cantilever structures 220, wherein the body 210 roughly has a hollow cylindrical structure, and the cantilever structures 220 are connected to each other Separately and parallelly disposed on the body 210 . In detail, each cantilever structure 220 includes a fixed end 221 and a free end 222 , the fixed end 221 is connected to the body 210 , and the free end 222 can rotate relative to the body 210 with the fixed end 221 as a center of circle. In particular, the free end 222 is located between the fixed end 221 and the opening 11 of the connecting socket 10 .

Each cantilever structure 220 includes at least one first contact point 223 and at least one second contact point 224 respectively located on opposite surfaces of the cantilever structure 220 . The first contact point 223 protrudes from the inner surface 211 of the body 210 and is adjacent to the free end 222 of the cantilever structure 220 . The second contact point 224 and the outer surface 212 of the body 210 face the inner wall of the groove 110 , and the second contact point 224 is located between the first contact point 223 and the fixed end 221 of the cantilever structure 220 . Therefore, the distance between the second contact point 224 and the fixed end 221 is smaller than the distance between the first contact point 223 and the fixed end 221 . In this embodiment, the distance between the first contact point 223 and the second contact point 224 is also smaller than the distance between the second contact point 224 and the fixed end 221 .

The cantilever structures 220 on the electrical component 200 are arranged in sequence from the bottom surface 111 of the groove 110 toward the opening 11 , and the cantilever structures 220 are arranged around the main axis R of the groove 110 . In this embodiment, the arrangement direction D of the cantilever structures 220 is skewed relative to the main axis R, that is, each cantilever structure 220 arranged in sequence from the bottom surface 111 of the groove 110 toward the opening 11 is arranged in a misaligned manner.

The electrical component 200 further includes a plurality of protrusions 230 disposed on the body 210 and protruding from the outer surface 212 of the body 210 . The position of the protruding portion 230 is close to both ends of the electrical element 200 , that is, part of the protruding portion 230 is adjacent to the bottom surface 111 of the groove 110 and part of the protruding portion 230 is adjacent to the opening 11 of the conductive element 100 . When the electrical element 200 is placed in the groove 110 of the conductive element 100, the protrusion 230 adjacent to the bottom surface 111 of the groove 110 will contact the inner wall of the groove 110, so that the outer surface 212 of the body 210 and the groove 110 A space is formed between the inner walls. Therefore, the outer surface 212 of the body 210 does not directly contact the inner wall of the groove 110 .

100。As shown in FIG. 5, when the connector 20 enters the groove 110 and connects with the connection socket 10, it will contact the first contact point 223 of the cantilever structure 220, and push the cantilever structure 220 to bend, so that the second contact point 223 of the cantilever structure 220 The contact point 224 contacts the inner wall of the groove 110 . Since the electrical element 200 has a conductive material, the connector 20 can transmit power, signals, and/or data to the conductive element 100 through the cantilever structure 220 of the electrical element 200 .

It should be noted that when the connector 20 enters the groove 110 to connect with the connection socket 10 , the connector 20 will not contact the inner surface 211 of the body 210 . In addition, due to the short distance between the first contact point 223 and the second contact point 224, the current of the connector 20 can be quickly transferred to the conductive element 100, and the energy will not stay in the cantilever structure 220, so local heating (Joule heat) can be reduced. (Joule heating)). Moreover, the cantilever structures 220 are arranged on the body 210 of the electrical component 200 in a checkerboard shape, and the arrangement direction D of the cantilever structures 220 arranged along the depth direction of the groove 110 is skewed relative to the main axis R, so that the flow can be dispersed. The current passing through the conductive element 100 further reduces local heating. For example, under the premise of a room temperature of 25°C, when the current of 80 amps flows from the connector 20 into the connection socket 10, the temperature of the highest part in the connection socket 10 is only between 60°C and 80°C (for example seventy degrees). Moreover, compared with the embodiment in FIG. 7A (the arrangement direction D of the cantilever structure 220 is parallel to the main axis R), since the arrangement direction D of the cantilever structure 220 of this embodiment is skewed relative to the main axis R, the cantilever structure is reduced. The number of repeated frictions on the same arc surface of the inner wall of the groove 110 can reduce wear and increase the service life of the product.

The electrical element 200 may include a highly elastic conductive metal material, such as beryllium copper, phosphor bronze, or brass, but is not limited thereto. In this embodiment, the electrical conductivity of the conductive element 100 is greater than that of the electrical element 200 .

224。In addition, in this embodiment, the electrical component 200 is formed by firstly forming the cantilever structure 220 through a metal plate such as drilling and/or other suitable methods, and then curling and bending the metal plate to form a hollow cylindrical structure. Therefore, the portion from the fixed end 221 to the second contact point 224 of the cantilever structure 220 still has a flat plate structure. Since the inner wall of the groove 110 is arc-shaped, each cantilever structure 220 has two second contact points 224 in this embodiment.

Please return to FIGS. 1-4 , the positioning element 300 can be combined with the conductive element 100 to position the electrical element 200 in the groove 110 of the conductive element 100 . In this embodiment, the opening 11 for connecting the socket 10 is formed on the positioning element 300, and the positioning element 300 may be made of low-conductivity material or non-conductive material (such as stainless steel or plastic).

As shown in FIG. 6 , the electrical component 200 may have at least one extension 240 at an end adjacent to the opening 11 , the extension 240 is connected to the body 210 and protrudes from the outer surface 212 of the body 210 . When the electrical element 200 is disposed in the groove 110 of the conductive element 100 , one end adjacent to the bottom surface 111 of the groove 110 contacts the bottom surface 111 , and the other end contacts the positioning element 300 through the extension portion 240 . Thereby, the position of the electrical component 200 in the direction of the main axis R can be fixed.

The protruding portion 230 of the electrical component 200 adjacent to the opening 11 can also be in contact with the positioning component 300 to more firmly fix the position of the electrical component 200 in the X-axis direction and/or the Y-axis direction. Since the positioning element 300 is made of a low-conductivity material or a non-conductive material, when the connector 20 is inserted, current will not flow into the conductive element 100 from the protruding portion 230 adjacent to the opening 11, and the cantilever structure 220 can keep it reduced. The effect of local heating.

In this embodiment, the positioning element 300 is formed with a bent portion 310 extending toward the groove 110 of the conductive element 100 at the opening 11 , and the protruding portion 230 of the electrical element 200 is in contact with the wall of the bent portion 310 . In addition, a notch 311 may be formed on the bending portion 310. When the electrical element 200 is disposed in the groove 110 of the conductive element 100, the extension portion 240 of the electrical element 200 may pass through the notch 311 and contact the positioning element 300 correspondingly. The plate portion 320 of the notch 311 can position the electrical component 200 in this way.

The connection socket 10 can also use other forms of electrical components. For example, the aforementioned electrical component 200 in the connection socket 10 can be replaced with the electrical component 200A shown in FIG. 7A. The electrical device 200A is similar to the electrical device 200 , so the parts having the same structure will not be repeated. The difference is that the arrangement direction D of the cantilever structures 220 on the electrical device 200A is parallel to the main axis R. Referring to FIG. In this way, the production of the electrical device 200A can be facilitated, and the structural reliability of the electrical device 200A can be enhanced.

Please refer to FIG. 7B , the electrical component 200 in the connection socket 10 can also be replaced with the electrical component 200B shown in FIG. 7B . The electrical element 200B is similar to the electrical element 200 , so the parts having the same structure will not be repeated. The difference is that the arrangement direction D of the cantilever structure 220 on the electrical component 200B is parallel to the main axis R, and the distance between the first contact point 223 and the second contact point 224 is also larger than the second contact point 224 and the fixed end 221 the distance between. In this way, the structural reliability of the electrical component 200B can be further enhanced, and the overall size of the connection socket 10 can be reduced.
