An example of the aerosol generating device 70 is a device that uses electricity to atomize a liquid (aerosol source) to generate aerosol. Aerosols are produced by atomizing an aerosol source, and are tiny particles so small that they can float in the gas. The aerosol generated by the aerosol generating device 70 may be accompanied by a fragrance. Examples of the aerosol generating device 70 include heated cigarettes (T-vapor or infused), electronic cigarettes (E-vapor), and the like. In addition, the aerosol generating device 70 includes a type that directly heats a cigarette, a type that heats a cigarette indirectly, and a type that heats a liquid. In addition, the gas mist generating device 70 may generate a surface acoustic wave (SAW) by using a piezoelectric element substrate having a comb-shaped electrode pair to atomize the liquid. As described above, the aerosol generating device 70 includes various devices such as a combustion type device, a non-combustion type device, a heating type device, and a non-heating type device.
When the gas mist generating device 70 uses a piezoelectric element having a comb-shaped electrode pair to generate a surface acoustic wave SAW to atomize a liquid, the gas mist generating device 70 has a piezoelectric element having a comb-shaped electrode pair as an atomizing unit, for example. The element substrate and the aerosol source for supplying the liquid are provided to the liquid supply part of the piezoelectric element sub-substrate. The piezoelectric element sub-substrate is designed to generate a surface elastic wave generated by applying a voltage to the comb-shaped electrode pair at a high frequency, and an atomizing gas mist source may also be used. In addition, the piezoelectric element sub-substrate has the number of comb-shaped electrode pairs determined according to the desired aerosol atomized by the surface acoustic wave. The number of bar-shaped electrode pairs depends on the desired aerosol. Therefore, an atomizing unit that can be manipulated under the limitation of the power that can be supplied to the comb-shaped electrode pair can provide a suitable atomizing unit by improving the atomization efficiency of the aerosol source.
In addition, these are only an example after all, and the aerosol generating apparatus 70 can be any apparatus as long as it can generate aerosol.

The other part of the core wire extends to the atomizing part 718 . The aerosol source is transported from the storage tank 716 to the atomizing part 718 via the capillary action of the core wire. For example, the atomizing part 718 is provided with a heater electrically connected to the battery 710 . The heater is positioned in contact with or adjacent to the core wire. When the suction action is detected, the control unit 706 controls the heater of the atomizing unit 718 to heat the aerosol source conveyed through the core wire, thereby atomizing the aerosol source. Another example of the atomizing part 718 may be an ultrasonic atomizer in which the mist source is atomized by ultrasonic vibration. An air intake channel 720 is connected to the atomizing part 718 , and the air intake channel 720 leads to the outside of the gas mist generating device 70 . Fig. 3 is a block diagram showing another schematic configuration of the gas mist generating device according to the first embodiment.
As shown in the figure, the gas mist generating device 70B includes a third member 726 in addition to the configuration of the gas mist generating device 70 of FIG. 2 . The third member 726 may contain a fragrance source 728 . For example, if the aerosol generating device 70B is an electronic cigarette, the flavor source 728 may contain cigarette flavor components. As shown, the aerosol flow path 721 extends from the second member 704 to the third member 726 . The suction port 722 is provided on the third member 726 .
The fragrance source 728 is a component that supplies fragrance to the aerosol. The fragrance source 728 is arranged in the middle of the gas mist flow path 721 . The mixed fluid of aerosol and air generated by the atomizing part 718 (hereinafter, it should be noted that the mixed fluid is also simply referred to as aerosol) flows to the suction port 722 through the aerosol flow path 721 . In this way, the fragrance source 728 is disposed more downstream than the atomizing part 718 with respect to the flow direction of the aerosol. In other words, the fragrance source 728 is located closer to the suction port 722 than the atomizing portion 718 in the aerosol flow path 721 . Therefore, the aerosol generated by the atomizing part 718 reaches the suction port 722 after passing through the fragrance source 728 . When the aerosol passes through the flavor source 728, the cigarette flavor components contained in the flavor source 728 are supplied to the aerosol. As an example, when the aerosol generating device 70B is an electronic cigarette, the flavor source 728 may be a tobacco-derived processed product formed from shredded tobacco or a cigarette raw material into granules, flakes, or powder. Further, the flavor source 728 may be a non-tobacco-derived processed product prepared from a plant other than tobacco (for example, mint, herbal medicine, etc.). By way of example, the flavor source 728 contains a nicotine component. Fragrance source 728 may be a fragrance component such as menthol. In addition to the flavor source 728, the reservoir 716 may also contain substances of cigarette flavor components. For example, in aerosol generation
The device 70B also retains the tobacco-derived aroma from the aroma source 728, and the reservoir 716 may contain non-tobacco-derived aromas.
The user inhales the air containing the scented aerosol by mouth-holding the mouth portion 722 and introduces it into the oral cavity.
The control unit 706 is provided to control the gas mist generating devices 70 and 70B according to the embodiment of the present invention (hereinafter collectively referred to as "gas mist generating device 70") by various methods.
Fig. 4 is an overall perspective view of the gas mist generating device according to the first embodiment. Fig. 5 is an overall perspective view of another gas mist generating device in which the gas mist generating substrate of the first embodiment is maintained. In the present embodiment, the aerosol generating device 70 is constructed as follows, that is, an aerosol generating base material such as a smoking article having an aroma generating base material including an aerosol source and a filler of the aroma source, for example, is provided with Heating produces a scented aerosol. In addition, the smoking article 910 may be used as an aerosol generating base material.
For those skilled in the art to understand, smoking article 910 is but one example of an aerosol-generating substrate. The aerosol source contained in the aerosol-generating substrate can also be solid or liquid. The aerosol source may be, for example, a liquid such as glycerin, a polyol of propylene glycol, or water. The aerosol source may contain cigarette raw materials or extracts derived from cigarette raw materials that are heated to release cigarette flavor components. When the aerosol generating device 70 is a medical inhaler such as an oral inhaler (nebulizer), the aerosol source may include a drug for inhalation by a patient. Depending on the application, the aerosol-generating substrate may also be free of a fragrance source.
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 , the aerosol generator 70 has a top case 811A, a bottom case 811B, a cover 812 , a switch 813 , and a cover 814 . The top casing 811A and the bottom casing 811B are connected to each other to constitute the outermost casing 811 of the aerosol generating device 70 . shell
The 811 series can also be of a size that can be accommodated in the palm of a user. At this time, when the user uses the aerosol generating device 70, the user can hold the aerosol generating device 70 with a hand and inhale the aerosol.
The top casing 811A has an opening (not shown), and the cover 812 is combined with the top casing 811A in a state of closing the opening. As shown, the cover 812 has an opening 812a into which the smoking article 910 can be inserted. The cover portion 814 is formed in a state in which the cover 812 can be opened and closed. Specifically, the cover 814 is attached to the cover 812 and is configured to be movable along the surface of the cover 812 between a first position for closing the opening 812a and a second position for releasing the opening 812a.
The switch 813 is used for switching the on and off actions of the aerosol generating device 70 . For example, as shown in FIG. 5, when the smoking article 910 is inserted into the opening 812a, the user operates the switch 813, thereby supplying power from the battery (not shown) to the heating unit (not shown), and The smoking article 910 can be heated without burning. When the smoking article 910 is heated, the aroma of the aroma source is incorporated into the aerosol. The user inhales the portion of the smoking article 910 protruding from the aerosol generating device 70 (the portion shown in the illustration in FIG. 5 ), thereby inhaling the aroma-containing aerosol. In addition, in this specification, the direction of the opening 812a of the gas mist generating base material inserted in the smoking article 910 etc. is called the longitudinal direction of the gas mist generating device 70.
The configuration of the gas mist generating device 70 shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 is merely an example of the configuration of the gas mist generating device of the present invention. The aerosol can be generated by heating the aerosol-generating substrate containing the aerosol source, and the user can inhale the generated aerosol source, which can be configured in various forms.
Next, the configuration of the smoking article 910 will be described by taking the aerosol-generating base material used in the aerosol-generating device 70 of the present embodiment as an example. FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view of smoking article 910 .
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 6, the smoking article 910 has a base material portion 910A including a filler 911 (corresponding to an example of a flavor-generating base material) and a first roll paper 912 that wraps the filler 911,
And the suction port part 910B which forms the end part on the opposite side from the base material part 910A. The base material portion 910A and the suction port portion 910B are connected by a second roll paper 913 different from the first roll paper 912 . However, the second roll paper 913 may be omitted, and the first roll paper 912 may be used to connect the base material portion 910A and the suction port portion 910B.
The suction port part 910B in FIG. 6 has a paper tube part 914 , a filter part 915 , and a hollow segment part 916 arranged between the paper tube part 914 and the filter part 915 . The hollow segment portion 916 includes, for example, a filling layer having one or a plurality of hollow channels, and a plug wrap covering the filling layer. Because the packing density of the fibers of the packing layer is relatively high, during suction, the air or aerosol only flows through the hollow channel, and hardly flows in the packing layer. In the smoking article 910, the filter portion 915 reduces the total amount of aerosol passing through due to the action of filtering the aerosol components. In this case, in order to reduce the decrease in the total amount of passing through, the length of the filter portion 915 can be shortened. Instead, the hollow section 916 can effectively increase the total amount of aerosol passing through.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 6, the suction port 910B is composed of three segments, but in another embodiment, the suction port 910B may be composed of one or two blocks, and four or more blocks may be used. It can also be composed of segments. For example, the hollow section portion 916 may be omitted, and the paper tube portion 914 and the filter portion 915 may be arranged so as to be adjacent to each other, and the suction port portion 910B may be formed.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 6, the length in the longitudinal direction of the smoking article 910 is preferably 40 mm to 90 mm, more preferably 50 mm to 75 mm, and most preferably 50 mm to 60 mm. The circumference of the smoking article 910 is preferably 15mm-25mm in length, preferably 17mm-24mm or less in length, and preferably 20mm-22mm or less in length. In the smoking article 910, the length of the base material portion 910A may be 20 mm, the length of the first roll paper 912 may be 20 mm, the length of the hollow segment portion 916 may be 8 mm, and the length of the filter portion 915 may be 7 mm. The length of each of these sections can be appropriately changed according to manufacturing suitability and quality requirements.
In this embodiment, the filling 911 of the smoking article 910 may include an aerosol source that is heated at a predetermined temperature to generate aerosol. The type of the aerosol source is not particularly limited, and can be selected from various natural extracts and/or such constituents according to the application. As aerosol sources, for example, glycerol, propylene glycol, triacetin, 1,3-butanediol, and mixtures of these. The content of the aerosol source in the filler 911 is not particularly limited, but is usually 5 wt% or more, preferably 10 wt %, from the viewpoint of generating a sufficient aerosol and adding a good aroma. % or more, and usually 50% by weight or less, preferably 20% by weight or less.
The filler 911 of the smoking article 910 in this embodiment may contain shredded tobacco as a flavor source. The material of the shredded tobacco is not particularly limited, and known parts such as leaves and stems can be used. The range of the content of the filler 911 of the smoking article 910 is, for example, 200 mg to 400 mg, preferably 250 mg to 320 mg, when the circumference is 22 mm and the length is 20 mm. The moisture content of the filler 911 is, for example, 8 to 18% by weight, preferably 10 to 16% by weight. With such a water content, the occurrence of entanglement stains can be suppressed, and good winding adaptability can be obtained in the manufacture of the base material portion 910A. The size of the shredded tobacco used as the filler 911 and the preparation method are not particularly limited. For example, dried tobacco leaves may be used and chopped into a width of 0.8 mm to 1.2 mm. In addition, the dried tobacco leaves may be uniformly chopped to an average particle size of about 20 μm to 200 μm, processed into thin slices, and chopped into a width of 0.8 mm to 1.2 mm. In addition, regarding the above-mentioned sheet processors, it is also possible to use it as the filler 911 by processing it into a folded sheet shape without shredding. In addition, the filler 911 series may contain one or two or more kinds of fragrances. The kind of the flavor is not particularly limited, but from the viewpoint of adding good taste, menthol is preferable.
In this embodiment, the first roll paper 912 and the second roll paper 913 of the smoking article 910 have a basis weight of, for example, 20gsm to 65gsm, or can be made from base paper of 25gsm to 45gsm.
good. The thicknesses of the first roll paper 912 and the second roll paper 913 are not particularly limited, but from the viewpoints of rigidity, air permeability, and ease of adjustment during papermaking, they are 10 μm to 100 μm, preferably 20 μm to 75 μm, and 30 μm ~50μm is better.
In the present embodiment, the first roll paper 912 and the second roll paper 913 of the smoking article 910 contain fillers. The filler content is, for example, 10% by weight or more but less than 60% by weight, preferably 15% by weight to 45% by weight, based on the total weight of the first roll paper 912 and the second roll paper 913 . In the present embodiment, for the preferred weighing range (25gsm~45gsm), the filler content is preferably 15wt%~45wt%. As a filler, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, kaolin, etc. can be used, for example. Paper containing such a filler exhibits a bright white color of the white series from the viewpoint of appearance, and can maintain the whiteness permanently. By containing a large amount of such a filler, for example, the ISO whiteness of the roll paper can be increased to 83% or more. In addition, in terms of practical appearance as a roll paper of the smoking article 910, the first roll paper 912 and the second roll paper 913 preferably have a tensile strength of 8 N/15 mm or more. The tensile strength can be improved by reducing the filler content. Specifically, by making the filler content less than the upper limit of the filler content shown in each weighing range exemplified above, the strength of the roll can be improved.
Next, the internal structure of the gas mist generator 70 shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 will be described. FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view of arrows 800-800 shown in FIG. 4. FIG. As shown in FIG. 7 , the gas mist generating device 70 is provided in the inner space of the casing 811 , and includes a power supply unit 820 , a circuit unit 830 , and a heating unit 840 . The circuit portion 830 may include a first circuit board 831 and a second circuit board 832 electrically connected to the first circuit board 831 . The first circuit board 831 may be arranged to extend in the longitudinal direction as shown in the figure, for example. Accordingly, the power supply unit 820 and the heating unit 840 are divided according to the first circuit board 831 . As a result, the heat generated in the heating unit 840 can be prevented from being transmitted to the power supply unit 820 .
The second circuit board 832 may be arranged between the top case 811A and the power supply unit 820 , and may extend in a direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the first circuit board 831 . The switch 813 may be arranged adjacent to the second circuit board 832 . When the user presses the switch 813 , a part of the switch 813 is brought into contact with the second circuit board 832 .
The first circuit board 831 and the second circuit board 832 include elements such as a microprocessor, for example, and can control the power supply from the power supply unit 820 to the heating unit 840 . Accordingly, the first circuit board 831 and the second circuit board 832 can control the heat of the smoking article 910 generated by the heating unit 840 .
The power supply unit 820 has a power supply 821 that is electrically connected to the first circuit board 831 and the second circuit board 832 . The power source 821 can be, for example, a rechargeable battery or a non-rechargeable battery. The power supply 821 is electrically connected to the heating part 840 via at least one of the first circuit board 831 and the second circuit board 832 . Accordingly, the power source 821 can supply electric power to the heating part 840, and the smoking article 910 can be heated appropriately. Also, as shown in the figure, the power source 821 may be disposed adjacent to the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the heating portion 840 . Accordingly, even if the size of the power source 821 is large, the length of the gas mist generator 70 in the longitudinal direction can be suppressed from increasing.
In addition, the aerosol generating device 70 may have a terminal 822 which can be connected to an external power source. Terminals 822 can be connected to wires such as micro USB or the like. If the power source 821 is a rechargeable battery, by connecting the external power source to the terminal 822 , the current can be supplied to the power source 821 from the external power source, and the power source 821 can be charged. In addition, by connecting a data transmission cable such as a micro USB to the terminal 822, data related to the operation of the aerosol generating device 70 can be transmitted to an external device.
As shown in the figure, the heating unit 840 has a heating assembly 841 extending in the longitudinal direction. The heating assembly 841 is constituted by a plurality of cylindrical members, and constitutes a cylindrical body as a whole. heating combination
The body 841 can accommodate a part of the smoking article 910 in the interior, and has the function of planning the air flow path supplied to the smoking article 910 and the function of heating the smoking article 910 from the outside.
In the bottom case 811B, an air vent 815 is formed for allowing air to flow into the interior of the heating assembly 841 . Specifically, the vent 815 is in fluid communication with one end of the heating assembly 841 (the left end in FIG. 6 ). In addition, the gas mist generator 70 is provided with a cap 816 which is detachably attached to the air vent 815 . The cap 816 is designed to allow air to flow into the heating assembly 841 from the vent 815 even when it is attached to the vent 815, that is, it has a design such as a through hole or a notch not shown. By attaching the cap 816 to the vent 815, the substance generated by the smoking article 910 inserted in the heating assembly 841 can be prevented from falling out of the housing 811 from the vent 815. Also, by removing the cap 816, the inside of the heating assembly 841 or the inside of the cap 816 can be cleaned.
The other end of the heating assembly 841 (the end on the right in FIG. 6 ) is in fluid communication with the opening 812a shown in FIG. 5 . A slightly cylindrical outer fin 817 is provided between the cover portion 814 having the opening 812a and the other end portion of the heating assembly 841 . As shown in FIG. 5, when the smoking article 910 is inserted into the aerosol generating device 70 through the opening 812a of the cover 814, a part of the smoking article 910 is disposed on the heating assembly 841 through the outer fin 817. internal. Therefore, according to the size of the opening on the other end side of the heating assembly 841 , the outer fin 817 is preferably made larger at the opening on the side of the cover 814 . Thus, the smoking article 910 can be easily inserted into the outer fin 817 from the opening 812a.
As shown in FIG. 5, in the state where the smoking article 910 is inserted into the aerosol generating device 70 from the opening 812a, when the user starts from the protruding part of the aerosol generating device 70 of the smoking article 910, that is, from the sixth In the filter part 915 shown in the figure, when the suction operation is performed, the air flows into the air through the ventilation port 815
The inside of the assembly 841 is heated. The inflowing air passes through the interior of the heating assembly 841 and reaches the user's mouth together with the aerosol generated by the smoking article 910 . Therefore, the proximal side of the vent 815 of the heating assembly 841 is the upstream side, and the proximal side of the opening 812a of the heating assembly 841 (the proximal side of the outer fin 817) is the downstream side.

FIG. 21 is a block diagram showing a schematic functional configuration of the battery device 28 of the present embodiment. As shown in the figure, the battery device 28 includes a control unit 281 , a memory unit 282 , a communication unit 283 , and a power storage unit 285 .

The usage status of the battery device 28 (the connection status with other devices, the charging status of the battery device 28 , etc.) is grasped, and the information is read and written to the memory unit 282 , and the information is transmitted using the communication unit 283 . take over. The control unit 281 can also be realized using a computer and a program.
The control unit 281 can read the device ID for uniquely identifying the individual battery device 28 from the memory unit 282 . The control unit 281 can transmit the device ID of the battery device 28 itself to the beacon transmitting device 10 or the user terminal 50 as needed.

The communication unit 283 performs, for example, short-range wireless communication, for example, wireless communication in the order of several meters to several hundreds of meters. The communication unit 283 realizes communication between the battery device 28 and the beacon transmission device 10 or with the user terminal 50 .
The power storage unit 285 stores electric power. Electric power can be stored in the power storage unit 285 using a charging device (not shown). Furthermore, the electric power stored in the power storage unit 285 can also be supplied to the gas mist generating device 70 .
As described above, since the battery device 28 has a communication function, the beacon transmission device 10 or the user terminal 50 in the present embodiment can directly receive from the battery device 28 and process various information at the same time. For example, the battery device 28 has a communication function and can transmit a beacon signal to the beacon transmission device 10 or the user terminal 50 .
