Abstract
本發明提供一種低功耗及降低碰撞之無線射頻識別通訊方法以及使用其之無線射頻識別通訊系統。此降低碰撞之無線射頻識別通訊方法包括下列步驟:根據每一個不同識別碼的射頻識別標籤,設置不同的啟動延遲時間;每一預設時間,啟動一無線射頻識別讀取端並檢測是否有射頻識別標籤;當檢測有射頻識別標籤,判斷是否發生碰撞;當判斷發生碰撞,進入一待機模式,停止供應射頻無線能量,之後恢復一般模式啟動,使每一個在讀取端上的射頻識別標籤,在該無線射頻識別讀取端再次啟動時,進行電源啟動重置。
Description
本發明係關於一種無線射頻識別技術,更進一步來說,本發明係關於一種低功耗及降低碰撞之無線射頻識別通訊方法以及使用其之無線射頻識別通訊系統。
無線射頻識別(Radio Frequency IDentification, RFID)是一種無線通訊技術,可以通過無線電訊號識別特定目標並讀寫相關數據,而無需識別系統與特定目標之間建立機械或者光學接觸。許多行業都運用了無線射頻識別技術。將標籤附著在一輛正在生產中的汽車,廠方便可以追蹤此車在生產線上的進度。倉庫可以追蹤藥品的位置。無線射頻識別的身份識別卡可以使員工得以進入建築鎖住的部分,汽車上的射頻應答器也可以用來徵收收費路段與停車場的費用。
然而,上述應用皆屬於無線射頻識別讀取端是採用非電池電源。一般射頻識別讀取裝置,當遇到過多射頻識別標籤會導致通訊碰撞。又,無線射頻識別的防碰撞機制一般是給予隨機延遲時間,讓射頻識別標籤分別啟動,避免再次通訊碰撞。在少量無線射頻識別標籤時可以很快知道無線射頻識別標籤之資料及數量,但在較多的無線射頻識別標籤時,需要較長時間處理通訊碰撞的資料,也會產生額外的功率消耗,這部分對於使用電池的無線射頻識別讀取端是相當大的負擔。
本發明的一目的在於提供一種降低碰撞之無線射頻識別通訊方法以及使用其之無線射頻識別通訊系統,用以減低通訊碰撞率,並且減低功率消耗,更進一步來說,甚至還可以增加讀取標籤數量。
有鑒於此,本發明提供一種無線射頻識別通訊方法,用於識別多數個射頻識別標籤,此無線射頻識別通訊方法包括:根據每一個不同識別碼的射頻識別標籤,設置不同的啟動延遲時間;每一預設時間,啟動一無線射頻識別讀取端,並檢測是否有射頻識別標籤;當檢測有射頻識別標籤,判斷是否發生通訊碰撞;以及當判斷出發生通訊碰撞,進入一待機模式,停止供應射頻無線能量,之後恢復一般模式啟動,使每一個在讀取端上的射頻識別標籤,在無線射頻識別讀取端再次啟動時,進行電源啟動重置。
本發明另外提供一種無線射頻識別通訊系統,此無線射頻識別通訊系統包括多數個射頻識別標籤以及一無線射頻識別讀取端。每一射頻識別標籤被設置不同的啟動延遲時間。每一預設時間,無線射頻識別讀取端被啟動,並檢測是否有射頻識別標籤,其中,當無線射頻識別讀取端檢測有射頻識別標籤,且發生通訊碰撞,進入一待機模式,停止供應射頻無線能量,之後恢復一般模式啟動,使每一個在無線射頻識別讀取端上的射頻識別標籤,在無線射頻識別讀取端再次啟動時,進行電源啟動重置。
依照本發明較佳實施例所述之降低碰撞之無線射頻識別通訊方法以及使用其之無線射頻識別通訊系統,上述根據每一個不同識別碼的射頻識別標籤,設置不同的啟動延遲時間的步驟包括:將無線射頻識別讀取端的一能量輸出期間分割成N個時間槽;將N個不同的射頻識別標籤的啟動延遲時間分別設置,其中,第K個射頻識別標籤的延遲時間對應第K個時間槽,其中,N、K為自然數,K小於等於N,K大於0。
依照本發明較佳實施例所述之降低碰撞之無線射頻識別通訊方法以及使用其之無線射頻識別通訊系統,上述射頻識別標籤更包括一電阻以及一電容,藉由該電阻與該電容的充放電,設置對應的啟動延遲時間。在另一較佳實施例中,上述射頻識別標籤更包括一即時時脈(Real Time Clock,RTC)產生電路,藉由設定即時時脈產生電路以設置不同的啟動延遲時間。
依照本發明較佳實施例所述之降低碰撞之無線射頻識別通訊方法以及使用其之無線射頻識別通訊系統,上述無線射頻識別通訊方法更包括:射頻識別標籤收到指令時除了在預設的啟動延遲時間後的一預設傳輸時間內進行通訊,其餘時間進入睡眠模式,以節省能源消耗。
本發明的精神在於利用預先設置每一個標籤個別的啟動延遲時間,並且在通訊碰撞通訊時,停止供應電源給每個標籤,在讀取端下次提供電源時,每個標籤依照自己不同的延遲時間槽(time slot),進行延遲啟動,因此,本發明可以在放置多個標籤時,短時間內便可以讀取到所放置的標籤之識別碼,減低碰撞的機會,並且減少功率消耗。
為讓本發明之上述和其他目的、特徵和優點能更明顯易懂,下文特舉較佳實施例,並配合所附圖式,作詳細說明如下。
第1圖繪示為本發明一較佳實施例的無線射頻識別通訊系統之系統方塊圖。請參考第1圖,此無線射頻識別通訊系統包括一無線射頻識別讀取端(RFID Reader)100以及多數個射頻識別標籤101。在此實施例中,無線射頻識別讀取端100例如是使用電池的設備,例如玩具。
第2圖繪示為本發明一較佳實施例的無線射頻識別通訊系統之操作時序圖。請參考第2圖,在此實施例中,假設系統內的射頻識別標籤101有7個(TAG1、TAG2、、、TAG7),當無線射頻識別讀取端100由睡眠模式轉為工作模式時,在無線射頻識別讀取端100會由線圈提供射頻能量(RF Power),而放置在上的標籤接收到射頻能量(RF Power)時,並不會立即的啟動,而是依照射頻標籤對應的延遲時間來進行啟動。舉例來說,標籤TAG1會在射頻能量提供後第一時間T1啟動,標籤TAG2會在射頻能量提供後第二時間T2啟動,標籤TAG3會在射頻能量提供後第三時間T3啟動,以此類推。
換句話說,本實施例將無線射頻識別讀取端100的一能量輸出期間分割成7個時間槽,並分別設置每一個射頻識別標籤的啟動延遲時間,使得射頻識別標籤可以在上述的能量輸出期間(提供射頻能量的期間)內,分開不同的時間與讀取端進行通訊。
由上述實施例可以知道,每一個標籤TAG1~TAG7都有對應的啟動延遲時間。如此,當標籤在同一個時間被置放時,其啟動的時間並不重疊,故不會發生通訊碰撞。然而,在本發明中,在不同時間放置仍有可能發生通訊碰撞。以下以一個實施例說明本發明如何解決發生通訊碰撞的情況。
第3圖繪示為本發明一較佳實施例的無線射頻識別通訊系統之在發生通訊碰撞時的操作時序圖。請參考第3圖,假設一開始,第二標籤TAG2放置好,但是第一標籤TAG1卻在第二標籤TAG2應當啟動的時間範圍內放置上去,導致第一標籤TAG1啟動,且和第二標籤TAG2也啟動的時間重疊,發生了通訊碰撞,此時,無線射頻識別讀取端100將進入待機模式,並關閉射頻能量(RF power)。在讀取端100下次啟動並重新提供射頻能量(RF power)時,第一標籤TAG1、第二標籤TAG2將同時進行電源啟動重置(Power On Reset,POR)。由於第一標籤TAG1與第二標籤TAG2的啟動延遲時間在一開始時,就已經預設為不交疊,故進行完電源啟動重置後,第一標籤TAG1會先啟動(Active),之後第二標籤TAG2才會啟動。故本發明即便發生通訊碰撞,也會在下一次的啟動後,便不會再發生通訊碰撞。標籤TAG1、TAG2除了啟動的時間外,其他時間都是在睡眠模式。標籤TAG1、TAG2僅有在指定的時間槽被喚醒,故本發明可以節省非常多的電力消耗。
上述實施例中,是以每一個標籤透過預設的方式,在一個時間槽裡面,分配固定時間被啟動(Active),此方式除了可以節省電力外,還可以讓無線射頻識別讀取端100同時能讀取的標籤數量大幅上升。另外,本發明實施例的每一個射頻識別標籤除了在預設的啟動延遲時間之後的一預設傳輸時間內進行通訊,其餘時間進入睡眠模式,以節省能源消耗。
以先前技術來說,假設一個射頻識別標籤需要0.4mA的耗電,則7個射頻識別標籤同時放置在無線射頻識別讀取端100時,需要2.8mA的耗電,也就是說,無線射頻識別讀取端100需要提供足夠的射頻能量(RF power),才能讓磁場上所有的射頻識別標籤能取得足夠電壓,正常工作。
然而,如果配合上本發明實施例的上述標籤電源控制的機制,當射頻識別標籤在指定的時間被喚醒,傳送完資料後,然就進入睡眠模式(Sleep Mode),直到無線射頻識別讀取端100重新供電,讓射頻識別標籤IC進行電源啟動重置後,重新同步,重覆上述動作,則可節省非常多的功率消耗。且無線射頻識別讀取端100理想上,只要能在同一個時間提供0.4mA的能量,便可以讀取所有的射頻識別標籤之識別碼。
申請人進行了一實驗,將沒有使用本發明技術的多個射頻識別標籤,放置在無線射頻識別讀取端進行讀取,結果數量約5個射頻識別標籤,無線射頻識別讀取端便無法進行讀取。而將本發明實施例的射頻識別標籤放置在無線射頻識別讀取端進行讀取,即便同時放置10個、15個射頻識別標籤,無線射頻識別讀取端依然能夠順利讀取到所有的射頻識別標籤的識別碼。
第4圖繪示為本發明一較佳實施例的無線射頻識別通訊系統之射頻識別標籤101的電路圖。請參考第4圖,在此實施例中,射頻識別標籤101包括一標籤積體電路401、一電阻R1以及一電容C1。電阻R1與電容C1並聯的耦接在共接電壓VSS和標籤積體電路401的輸入輸出埠IO之間。在此實施例中,藉由電阻R1與電容C1的充放電,設置對應的啟動延遲時間。優點是每一個標籤的時序可以控制,缺點是成本高。
第5A圖繪示為本發明一較佳實施例的無線射頻識別通訊系統之射頻識別標籤101的電路圖。請參考第5A圖,在此實施例中,利用有按鍵掃描喚醒(Key Scan Wake Up)功能的積體電路,原先主要目的是在睡眠模式時,可以支援按鍵矩陣喚醒。按鍵掃描的輸入輸出埠I/O會提供一個按鍵掃描脈衝(Key scan pulse)訊號,將此按鍵掃描的輸入輸出埠I/O接到喚醒輸入輸出埠I/O上,依據按鍵掃描脈衝的時間並配合計數器計數來決定是否喚醒標籤。
第5B圖繪示為本發明一較佳實施例的無線射頻識別通訊系統之射頻識別標籤101的操作示意圖。請參考第5B圖,舉例來說,假設射頻識別標籤傳一筆資料需要17ms(34*0.5us),按鍵掃描脈衝的間距為7.7ms,所以當射頻識別標籤Tag2要傳送資料時,需等到第3個脈衝發生時(7.7ms*3 = 23.1ms > 17ms),再傳送資料,依此類推,Tag7需在第18 個脈衝時傳送資料。
第6圖繪示為本發明一較佳實施例的無線射頻識別通訊系統之射頻識別標籤101的電路圖。請參考第6圖,在此實施例中,採用具有即時時脈(Real Time Clock,RTC)產生電路RTC功能的射頻識別標籤,利用即時時脈RTC,可在進入待機模式(Standby Mode)後,開始進行計時,並計數到預先設定的時間之後,使標籤啟動並傳送資料。
第7圖繪示為本發明一較佳實施例的無線射頻識別通訊方法的流程圖。請參考第7圖,此無線射頻識別方法包括下列步驟:
步驟S701:根據每一個不同識別碼的射頻識別標籤,設置不同的啟動延遲時間。例如上述實施例所述的七個射頻識別標籤,分別有七個不同的啟動延遲時間。也就是七個射頻識別標籤分別被配置在七個時間槽。
步驟S702:檢測是否有無線射頻標籤,並判斷是否標籤數字為1。當判斷有標籤且標籤數字為1,進入步驟S706;當判斷有無線射頻標籤且無線射頻標籤的數目不是1,進入步驟S703。
步驟S703:當無線射頻標籤的數目不是1時,表示碰撞發生,此時,進入待機模式。無線射頻識別讀取端100進入待機模式,並停止供應射頻能量(RF power)給射頻識別標籤。
步驟S705:喚醒。無線射頻識別讀取端100被喚醒,並開始發送射頻能量(RF power)。此時,放置在無線射頻識別讀取端100的標籤便開始重新進行電源啟動重置(Power On Reset,POR),並且依照其射頻識別標籤識別碼,在對應的時間啟動(Active)。
步驟S706:接收標籤資料。
步驟S707:進入睡眠模式。
步驟S708:回到步驟S702。
綜上所述,本發明的精神在於預先設定每一個射頻識別標籤設置個別的啟動延遲時間,並且在發生通訊碰撞時,停止供應電源給每個射頻識別標籤,在讀取端下次提供電源時,重新啟動射頻識別標籤,每個射頻識別標籤依照自己不同的延遲時間槽(time slot),進行延遲啟動,因此,本發明可以在放置多個射頻識別標籤時,短時間內便可以讀取到所放置的射頻識別標籤之識別碼,減低通訊碰撞的機會,並且減少功率消耗。
在較佳實施例之詳細說明中所提出之具體實施例僅用以方便說明本發明之技術內容,而非將本發明狹義地限制於上述實施例,在不超出本發明之精神及以下申請專利範圍之情況,所做之種種變化實施,皆屬於本發明之範圍。因此本發明之保護範圍當視後附之申請專利範圍所界定者為準。

- 一種無線射頻識別通訊方法,用於識別多數個射頻識別標籤,此無線射頻識別通訊方法包括: 根據每一個不同識別碼的射頻識別標籤,設置不同的啟動延遲時間; 每一預設時間,啟動一無線射頻識別讀取端,並檢測是否有射頻識別標籤; 當檢測有射頻識別標籤,判斷是否發生碰撞;以及 當判斷出發生碰撞,進入一待機模式,停止供應射頻無線能量,之後恢復一般模式啟動,使每一個在讀取端上的射頻識別標籤,在該無線射頻識別讀取端再次啟動時,進行電源啟動重置。
- 如請求項第1項所記載之無線射頻識別通訊方法,其中,根據每一個不同識別碼的射頻識別標籤,設置不同的啟動延遲時間,包括: 將無線射頻識別讀取端的一能量輸出期間分割成N個時間槽;以及 將N個不同的射頻識別標籤的啟動延遲時間分別設置,其中,第K個射頻識別標籤的延遲時間對應第K個時間槽, 其中,N、K為自然數,K小於等於N,K大於0。
- 如請求項第2項所記載之無線射頻識別通訊方法,其中,該射頻識別標籤更包括一電阻以及一電容,藉由該電阻與該電容的充放電,設置對應的啟動延遲時間。
- 如請求項第2項所記載之無線射頻識別通訊方法,其中,該射頻識別標籤更包括一即時時脈(Real Time Clock,RTC)產生電路,藉由設定即時時脈產生電路以設置不同的啟動延遲時間。
- 如請求項第1項所記載之無線射頻識別通訊方法,其中,更包括: 射頻識別標籤除了在預設的啟動延遲時間後的一預設傳輸時間內進行通訊,其餘時間進入睡眠模式,以節省能源消耗。
- 一種無線射頻識別通訊系統,包括: 多數個射頻識別標籤,其中,每一該些射頻識別標籤被設置不同的啟動延遲時間;以及 一無線射頻識別讀取端,其中,每一預設時間,該無線射頻識別讀取端被啟動,並檢測是否有射頻識別標籤, 其中,當該無線射頻識別讀取端檢測有射頻識別標籤,且發生碰撞,進入一待機模式,停止供應射頻無線能量,之後恢復一般模式啟動,使每一個在該無線射頻識別讀取端上的射頻識別標籤,在該無線射頻識別讀取端再次啟動時,進行電源啟動重置。
- 如請求項第6項所記載之無線射頻識別通訊系統,其中,每一該些射頻識別標籤被設置不同的啟動延遲時間,包括: 將無線射頻識別讀取端的一能量輸出期間分割成N個時間槽;以及 將N個不同的射頻識別標籤的延遲時間分別設置,其中,第K個射頻識別標籤的延遲時間對應第K個時間槽, 其中,N、K為自然數,K小於等於N,K大於0。
- 如請求項第7項所記載之無線射頻識別通訊系統,其中,該射頻識別標籤更包括一電阻以及一電容,藉由該電阻與該電容的充放電,設置對應的啟動延遲時間。
- 如請求項第7項所記載之無線射頻識別通訊系統,其中,該射頻識別標籤更包括一即時時脈(Real Time Clock,RTC)產生電路,藉由設定即時時脈產生電路以設置不同的啟動延遲時間。
- 如請求項第6項所記載之無線射頻識別通訊系統,其中,射頻識別標籤除了在預設的啟動延遲時間後的一預設傳輸時間內進行通訊,其餘時間進入睡眠模式,以節省能源消耗。
