Abstract

A cosmetic applicator having improved absorbing capacity is provided. The present invention relates to a cosmetic applicator with improved absorption performance.

The cosmetic applicator is used to release cosmetics to the skin, especially facial skin. In addition to the characteristics of good absorption of cosmetics, the characteristics of good release of cosmetics are also important for such cosmetic applicators.

Generally, the user wants to release the cosmetics onto the skin well with a small number of cosmetic absorption actions and a large number of cosmetic removal actions. The thickness d1 of the first layer 11 may be 100% to 500% of the height d2 of the cosmetics containing space. The thickness d1 of the first layer 11 may be 0.1 mm to 5 mm, for example, 0.2 mm to 4.5 mm, for example, 0.3 mm to 4 mm, or for example, 0.4 mm to 3 mm, which is relatively thin. The volume of the pores of the first layer 11 determines the amount of cosmetics that can be absorbed into the porous first layer 11. However, because the first layer 11 needs proper elasticity and strength, the volume of the pores is limited. In this embodiment, the volume of the cosmetic containing space is positively larger than the pore volume of the first layer 11, and since most of the cosmetics move to the cosmetic containing space, the cosmetic absorption capacity of the cosmetic applicator 1 is greatly improved.

With the absorption performance of the cosmetic containing space as described above, even if the cosmetic applicator 1 has a thin thickness, it can have a sufficient absorption capacity.

Various changes can be implemented in the first embodiment. In the second embodiment, a cosmetic channel 111 is formed on the first layer 11.
