Abstract

The invention provides a tool box comprising a body, a cover member and a light emitting device. The body has a light transmissive transparent wall, a receiving cavity formed by the light transmissive wall, and an opening that communicates with the receiving cavity. A cover member is coupled to the body and selectively closes the opening. The illuminating device is disposed on the cover member to generate a projected light that is projected toward the accommodating cavity. Tool box

The invention relates to a tool box, in particular to a portable tool box with warning and lighting functions.

A general portable tool case, such as the Taiwan Patent Publication No. 214156, includes a cover and a box body, and is integrally connected by a hinge. A shank having an open end is provided in the box portion, and the tool box can be directly inserted into the belt or the trousers with the shank. However, users carrying such a portable tool box still need to carry other lighting equipment, such as headlights, at night or in a low-light working environment. In addition, in the work environment that requires warning, you need to wear other warning equipment, such as warning vests. The user is required to carry other equipment in order to adapt to the working environment at work. The invention provides a tool box capable of providing warning and illumination functions.

The tool box provided by the invention comprises a body, a cover member and a light-emitting device. The body has a light transmissive transparent wall, a receiving cavity formed by the light transmissive wall, and an opening that communicates with the receiving cavity. A cover member is coupled to the body and selectively closes the opening. The illuminating device is disposed on the cover member and is capable of generating a projected light projected toward the accommodating cavity, and the projected light penetrates the transparent wall to generate transmitted light.

In an embodiment of the invention, the cover member has a receptacle. The light emitting device is detachably mounted to the housing and includes a housing, a light emitting unit disposed on the housing, a closing member on one side of the closing housing, and a control member coupled to the closing member. The illumination unit is selectively triggered by the control member to produce a projected light.

In an embodiment of the invention, both the projected light and the transmitted light are red.

In an embodiment of the invention, the light emitting unit has a light emitting diode, a halogen bulb or other kind of light emitting element.

Based on the above, the tool case provided by the above embodiment of the present invention can be easily carried by the fastener by being fastened to the user's belt. The user can press the pressing portion of the control member to trigger the light emitting unit to generate the projected light. The projected light that has been refracted by the lens and enters the accommodating cavity penetrates the transparent wall to generate transmitted light. The warning effect is achieved by the transmitted light around the tool box. In addition, the illuminating device can be detached from the receptacle and can be used separately for illumination.

The body 10 has a light transmissive transparent wall 11 , an accommodating cavity 12 formed by the transparent wall 11 , and at least one opening 13 communicating with the accommodating cavity 12 . The illuminating device 30 is detachably mounted to the receiving slot 21 and includes a housing 31, a light emitting unit 32 disposed on the housing 31, a closing member 33 on one side of the closed housing 31, and a control member connected to the closing member 33. 34 and a lens 35 that must be located in the first perforation 211. The control member 34 is coupled to the closure member 33 and selectively activates the illumination unit 32 to control the opening and closing of the projected light L32. The control member 34 has an elastically deformable pressing portion 341 which is aligned with the second through hole 331 and adapted to be deformed by force to trigger the light emitting unit 32.

In summary, the tool case of the present embodiment can be easily carried by the fastener 16 by being fastened to the user's belt. The user can press the pressing portion 341 of the control member 34 to trigger the light emitting unit 32 to generate the projected light L32. The projected light L32 that has been refracted by the lens 35 and enters the accommodating cavity 12 penetrates the light-transmitting wall 11 to generate transmitted light L11. The warning effect is achieved by the transmitted light L11 around the tool box. Further, the light-emitting device 30 can be detached from the cavity 21 and can be used alone as illumination.
