S1b藻株與Nanno藻株係由如實驗例一之培養方式取得。經以10,000×g離心3分鐘,再用鹽度為20 psu之滅菌海水清洗,以去除培養液。接著以鹽度為20 psu之滅菌海水將各藻液稀釋至濃度每公升1×107 顆藻細胞進行實驗。分別將上述兩種藻株餵食極小型輪蟲(Brachionus rotundiformis ,購自台灣,水產試驗所,東港生技研究中心,並觀察及比較其增殖率(reproductive rate)及帶卵率(eggs ratio)。關於極小型輪蟲之實驗方法步驟及帶卵率和增殖率的測定方法係參考水產試驗所之東港生技研究中心的文獻(蘇等,1994及Snellet al . 1987)。The Picochlorum sp.
