Abstract

A ratchet screwdriver having direction changing function of this invention comprises a main body, a spindle, a first and a second meshing device, a toggling block, and an outer cover. The outer cover is sleeved at a first end of the main body. The outer cover is coupled with the toggling block to rotate and selectively pushes the first and the second meshing device. The inner wall surface of the outer cover comprises a first, a second and a third positioning part parallel to each other. The outer cover can be switched and changed between a first position, a second position, and a third position. When the outer cover is located at the first position, the positioning device of the main body is positioned at the first positioning part, enabling the ratchet screwdriver to rotate toward a first direction and a second direction. When the outer cover is located at the second position, the positioning device of the main body is positioned at the second positioning part, enabling the ratchet screwdriver to rotate toward the first direction only. When the outer cover is located at the third position, the positioning device of the main body is positioned at the third positioning part, enabling the ratchet screwdriver to rotate toward the second direction only.
