Abstract

The present invention provides a system and a method for monitoring refrigeration efficiency of a drinking machine. The drinking machine comprises a refrigeration device, a temperature detection device that detects temperature and controls the refrigeration device to stop refrigeration, a control unit that is coupled to the refrigeration device and the temperature detection device, and a memory arranged in the control unit and pre-loaded with a standard refrigeration time. The control unit acquires a signal from the temperature detection device when the refrigeration device starts and stops refrigeration operation and transmits the signal to the memory to record the actual refrigeration time. The actual refrigeration time, after being recorded in the memory, is compared with the aforementioned standard refrigeration time to thereby obtain a ratio of refrigeration efficiency, thus allowing a management operator to learn the refrigeration efficiency of the refrigeration device through reading the ratio of refrigeration efficiency that serves as a basis for determining if the refrigeration device of the drinking machine needs to be replaced, maintained, or supplemented with coolant.
