Abstract

The invention relates to a circuit board.

In the conventional computer system, the cable is usually fixed by a wire buckle. However, in order to facilitate the bonding to the chassis, the base of the conventional buckle is generally large, which not only occupies space but also cannot be applied to a narrow space.

In view of the above, it is necessary to provide a circuit board having a small fixing device that can be applied to a narrow space.

Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, a preferred embodiment of the wire fixing device of the present invention is disposed at the edge of the circuit board 1 in a casing 4. In this embodiment, the circuit board 1 is a system board adjacent to a motherboard 2.

The circuit board 1 is provided with a plurality of fixing holes 10 at adjacent edges to correspondingly mount a plurality of fixing devices.

Referring to FIG. 3 , each wire fixing device includes a fixing portion 20 and a wire portion 30 vertically connected to the fixing portion 20 . The fixing portion 20 is L-shaped and includes a first connecting piece 200 and a fixing post 202 perpendicular to one end of the bottom surface of the first connecting piece 200. The end of the fixing post 202 extends circumferentially with an elastically deformable flange 204 which is gradually reduced in diameter. The fixing post 202 is further provided with a slit in the axial direction. The card line portion 30 is substantially U-shaped and includes a second connecting piece 304 and a first side wall 306 and a second side wall 308 extending from opposite ends of the second connecting piece 304. The second connecting piece 304 , the first and second side walls 306 and 308 are surrounded by a receiving space 302 . The end of the first side wall 306 of the wire portion 30 is perpendicularly connected to the other end of the first connecting piece 200 of the fixing portion 20 . The end of the second side wall 308 extends toward the first side wall 306 by a latch 300 . The length of the second connecting piece 304 is not greater than the width between the circuit board 1 and the motherboard 2.

Referring to FIG. 1 again, when assembled, the flange 204 of the fixing post 202 is pressed to be elastically deformed to be inserted into the fixing hole 10 of the circuit board 1. After the flange 204 of the fixing post 202 passes through the fixing hole 10, The deformation is restored and blocked at the bottom of the circuit board 1. The card line portion 30 is disposed on the outer side of the circuit board 1, that is, between the circuit board 1 and the motherboard 2, and effectively utilizes the space between the circuit board 1 and the motherboard 2.

In use, a cable (not shown) is inserted into the receiving space 302 of the cable portion 30 from the opening of the wire portion 30, and the latch 300 prevents the cable from coming out of the receiving space 302.
