Abstract

A handheld device, includes a storage module, an icon generating module, a display module, a detecting module, a determining module, and a switching module. The storage module stores groups of data, each group of data includes a primary key, and at least one related key. The icon generating module reads the primary key and at least one related key in the same group, and at least one related key in different group, and displays in the display module. The detecting module detects a choice of a user. The determining module determines whether the choice is the primary key and the related keys in the same group. The switching module switches a locking state to an unlocking state, upon the determination of the choice is the primary key and the related keys in the same group. The invention also provides a unlocking method applied in the handheld device.

The present invention relates to a handheld device, and more particularly to a method of unlocking a handheld device.

Most handheld devices have a locking function to prevent the user from touching the button or touch screen of the handheld device without knowing it, resulting in misoperation. Currently, the method of unlocking (hereinafter referred to as unlocking) is by inputting a specific button, such as a * word key, or triggering a sliding unlocking bar on the touch screen, such as Apple's IPhone.

However, the current unlocking feature can only be used for misuse without security. Therefore, how to make the unlocking function of the handheld device can prevent the misoperation and the security function, and it becomes a new direction of improvement in the field.

The determining module 600 determines whether the user's selection is the primary key data and at least one of the same group of related materials. In the present embodiment, when it is determined that the user selects the primary key data and the at least one related group of related materials, the switching module 700 is notified. When it is determined that the user's selection is not all the primary key data and at least one of the same group of related materials, that is, when different sets of related materials are also included, the counting module 900 is notified.

In this embodiment, the counting module 900 counts the number of times that the user's selection includes different groups of data, and when the number of times is greater than the preset number of times, the notification determining module 600 performs a forced locking. In the present embodiment, the forcible locking means that the detection module 500 suspends the detection of the operation of the display module 400 and the keyboard 800 within a preset time period, so as to avoid maliciously cracking the unlocking screen.

The switching module 700 switches between the locked state and the unlocked state. If the user selects the primary key data and the at least one related data of the same group, step S207 is executed, and the switching module 700 switches the handheld device 10 from the locked state to the unlocked state.

If the user's selection is not the primary key data and the at least one related data, that is, the related data is included in the same group, the step S208 is performed, and the counting module 900 counts the number of attempts. In the present embodiment, the number of attempts refers to The number of times the user selects from the unlock screen displayed by the display module 400.

In step S209, the counting module 900 determines whether the counted number of attempts exceeds a preset number of attempts.

If not, the process returns to step S205, and the detection module 500 continues to detect the user's selection.

If yes, step S210 is executed to determine that the module 600 performs a forced lock on the handheld device 10 to avoid maliciously cracking the unlock screen.
