Abstract

A backlight module that utilizes tiny V-groove light-guiding plate is used to eliminate the image shortcoming easily produced by such kind of backlight module. Many tiny and parallel V-groove mirrors are distributed over at least the front plane or the back plane of a light-guiding plate. The angle of V-groove is irregularly, discontinuously changed at some areas, especially the area near the lamp source or area opposite to the lamp source. Therefore, the illumination of the backlight module is elevated, the uniformity of illumination is improved and the appearance defect that is easily generated by this kind of backlight module can be effectively eliminated.
