A test disk for the adjustment of a pickup capable of interchangeably reproducing different types of disks, which is formed by laminating a plurality of recording layers different in recording density in which each recording layer is provided with a signal recording surface recorded in a fixed form. With this test disk, the change of disks and the adjustment operation after a disk is changed can be omitted in the adjustment of the pickup since a plurality of recording layers different in recording density are laminated in a disk. Moreover, the adjustment of the pickup can be performed precisely since there is no difference in the disk itself and the state the disk being chucked that occur when a disk is changed.
