Abstract

The present invention can be easy to facilitate assembly of component units into a camera body without using any screws or mounting any protrusion portions in order to obtain a thinner and miniaturized camera. An electronic camera has first to fourth positioning members (17-20) for positioning each kind of component units (13-16), wherein the positioning members (17-20) are formed in a thin plate shape and provided within the camera body in a planar arrangement, thus each kind of the component units (13-16) can be assembled into the camera body by means of the positioning members (17-20). Therefore, it is easy to assemble component units (13-16) by means of the positioning members (17-20) without using any screws or mounting any protrusion portions, even if the camera body is made of metal, as well as to suppress mounting space for the positioning members (17-20) to an unnecessary demand. The camera body can be form of the metal plate thinly. Thus, the thinner and miniaturized camera can be achieved.
