Abstract
A high-voltage transformer is proposed. The objectives of the present invention, on one hand, is to prevent corona discharge formed between a primary winding and a secondary winding respectively wounded on a primary winding shaft and a secondary winding shaft stacked together to sandwich a spacer in an insulating winding bobbin, on the other hand, is to achieve a low-profiled high-voltage transformer. In the present invention, the primary winding shaft (54) arranged in an upper section of the winding bobbin (50) is constructed in such a way that the diameter from a top end (54a) at a side further distant from the secondary winding shaft (56) to a predetermined middle location (54b) is the same, and the diameter from the middle location (54b) to a bottom end (54c) is gradually increased. Accordingly, insulation and voltage resistance between a high-voltage side of the secondary winding and the primary winding can be sufficiently ensured so as to prevent the formation of the corona discharge while achieving low profile for the winding bobbin (50).
