Abstract
The present invention relates to a manufacturing method for oxide super conductivity wire, comprising: processes (S1, S2) of applying a metal onto an oxide super conductivity raw material powder form, and processes (S4, S6) of heating treatment of the wire in a pressured atmosphere, in which total pressure of the pressure atmosphere is more than 1 MPa but less than 50 MPa. Thereby, voids among oxide super conductivity crystalline and bumps of the oxide super conductivity wire are suppressed. Divided pressure control of oxygen can be easily achieved during heating treatment; therefore, the critical current density can be higher.
