Abstract

An electrostatic electro-acoustic transducer and a method thereof are provided. The present electrostatic electro-acoustic transducer includes two electrode plates provided with holes and a conductive vibrating film disposed there-between. Two nano-meso-micro-porous electret composite material films are respectively formed on an inner surface of each of the electrode plates. The two nano-meso-micro-porous electret composite material films are respectively provided with a permanent negative voltage and a permanent positive voltage. The conductive vibrating film is applied by an audio-signal voltage. Therefore, it will induce a push-pull electrostatic force to make the film vibrate, resulting in compressing air which generates audio radiation. By the permanent negative and positive voltages of the nano-meso-micro-porous electret composite material films, the present electrostatic electro-acoustic transducer merely requires a single-channeled alternating voltage. The audio-signal voltage can be reduced.
