Abstract

The present invention relates to an air-assisted type centrally rotary nozzle, which combines the advantages of an air-assisted atomization technique and a rotary atomization technique by using rotary motion to atomize twice the preliminarily atomized sprayed droplets. The nozzle of the invention uses high-speed gas to collide the liquid medium to be atomized so as to achieve the first atomization. The second atomization is caused by the high-speed rotation of the rotary object where the metal droplets colliding the rotary object are thinned and cracked into many micron and submicron atomized granules. The first atomization device is a nozzle structure installed with a layer of insulator at the center; a liquid channel penetrating and connecting the nozzle is disposed at the exterior of the insulator, and a gas channel is disposed around the liquid channel. At the top of the nozzle structure is a transmission mechanism whose rotating axle penetrates the center of the insulator correspondingly; the terminal of the rotating axle is corresponded to a rotary object. The melted metal liquid is loaded to the liquid channel by the pipe at one side of the furnace; when the liquid metal is sprayed from the nozzle, it collides with gas so that the mixed spray of the gas and the liquid will hit the rotary object and form a metal film. Through the centrifugal force caused by the high-speed rotation of the rotary object, the large droplets in the atomized current can be thinned and cracked into many micron and submicron atomized granules so that the overall liquid atomization effect can be controlled.
