Abstract

When an ignition plug is disposed, the output of an engine and ignitability are improved by reducing the inclination and the weight of an internal combustion engine is reduced. A cylinder head 21 of an internal combustion engine E is provided with an insertion bore 31 for inserting an ignition plug 30 so as to face substantially the center of a combustion chamber 27, a first bearing member 51 for supporting one end 41a of a single camshaft 41, and a mating surface 23 to which a cylinder head cover 22 is connected via a sealing member 24. The first bearing member 51 is located at the position overlapping with the insertion bore 31 in plan view and between the insertion bore 31 and the mating surface 23 in the direction Al of the cylinder axis, and is defined by a side wall 54 of the cylinder head 21 to cover the entire end surface 41a1 of the one end 41a.
