Abstract

A belt apparatus 10 is provided for holding strips of lead frames 38 during treatment. It comprises a belt 12 and attached clips 14. The clips 14 are attached to the belt 12 at only one end. Their free ends, being the clamping ends 36, are held away from a first side of the belt 12. The belt 12 has recessed holes 16 in its lower edge to allow clamping ends 36 of the clips 14 to be pushed through to the second side.
