Description

5 ^1 I I -- - I - - ......... . l^i I I - 1 ^« _ _ _ . Description of the invention (丨) The present invention relates to a hand-held dial device, and in particular, to a device with a discourse And telephone tone dial function. The basic circuit of a conventional pocket telephone dialer is shown in FIG. FIG. 1 shows a dialer circuit 10 of a conventional Dual Tone Multifrequency (DTMF) telephone, which includes a dial chip 12, a crystal 18, and a speaker assembly 17. Generally speaking, the tones (“0 ~ 9”, “*” and “#”) of all DTMF telephones have tone frequencies > which are compounded by the fundamental frequency generated by the crystal 18. Traditionally, a tone generator (Tone Generator) included in the dial chip 12 has a memory (storing a phone number set by the user), two frequency multipliers (Frequency Multiplier), and a frequency adder (Frequency Adder). (Not shown). When the tone of each key is generated, the fundamental frequency is amplified by a predetermined amount in a frequency doubler to distinguish the four rows of keys on the keypad (Keypad); and the fundamental frequency is also changed in another frequency doubler. A predetermined amount is enlarged to distinguish the three rows of keys on the keypad. For each column and each row, the respective predetermined masses are first set and stored in the memory. Then, the tones of the two amplified frequencies will be combined in the adder to generate the DTMF standard tones of each key. The combined frequency tone of the dial chip 12 is then sent to the speaker module Π. The loudspeaker assembly includes a driving transistor 15 whose emitter (Ermtter) is grounded to V s and the collector is connected to Lao 8-14. During operation, the user can use the pre-determined keys to redial the set phone number. The tone data of the selected phone number is all stored in the memory. 3 The paper size applies the Chinese National Standard (CNS) A4 specification (210X297 mm) ) {Please read the notes on the back before filling in this page) ^ ^^ 3lwf.doc / Jimtny / 005 Α7 Β7 The 5th invention note (y) printed by the Employee Consumer Cooperative of the Central Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs is output to the speaker 14, The horn 14 is placed on the telephone microphone part to facilitate operation during dialing. However, when using a telephone, if a message synthesized in one utterance can be output to the user and / or to the receiver, instead of outputting the telephone number representing the dialed number in tone only, it should meet the wishes of many people. For example, when the user calls to a meeting place, the party name will be played out to confirm that the call was dialed correctly. In addition, once the call is made, a selected synthesized utterance message is output, so that the user does not need to speak again. The features of this invention are particularly applicable when the user has a speech impediment or damage. Therefore, the main object of the present invention is to provide a telephone dialing machine having a desired function of outputting telephone tones and voice messages. Another object of the present invention is to provide two memory storages, one for storing phone tones of four rows of keys on a keypad, and the other for storing phone tones of three rows of keys on a keypad, saving the storage of a DTMF phone space. Yet another object of the present invention is to store background sounds in one memory and utterance sounds in another memory. In order to achieve the above and other objects of the invention, 'provide a method and device for generating speech and telephone tone signals in a hand-held dialing device', the dialing device of the invention includes a memory storing predetermined speech and tone signal data; a The speech processor selectively retrieves a sequence of predetermined speech and tone signal data stored in the memory. Selective retrieval of data is based on the dial-up user's choice and outputs data to a speaker coupled externally or internally. On the other hand, the device includes a second memory to store additional reservations. Preferably, the first memory stores tone signal data representing four rows of keys of a DTMF key phone: the second memory stores tone signal data representing three rows of keys of a DTMF key phone. In another aspect, the first memory stores the utterance signal data representing the background sound; and the second memory stores the utterance signal data representing the utterance sound, such as a voice message. In order to make the above and other objects, features, and advantages of the present invention more comprehensible, a preferred embodiment is exemplified below and described in detail with the accompanying drawings. Discourse and tone signal data may be stored in the individual discourse and tone sections of memory 32 (SeCt1〇nS ) ", For example, the data in the utterance section (Si, S2, S3 ... Sn) represents nearly 250 basic sounds (Phonic Sounds), and each word in English can be formed through proper combination. Therefore, a memory circuit only needs to store about 250 sounds, which is enough to output each English word, or each utterance segment can represent a complete word. Whether each utterance segment represents a phonetic sound or a complete word depends on the preference of the utterance programmer. In order to group the discourse segments into individual words or phrases, the designer can rearrange any discourse segments to form "Speech Equations (SEq.)", Each of which can represent a word or phrase, such as The discourse formula SEqzSdSz + Ss + Ss + SdSg is a phrase or word that contains the discourse segment and the s3 result condensed. The tone section (... T12) can represent the individual parts of the 12 DTMF keypad tones. In order to combine the tone sections into one of the 12 tones, the programmer can rearrange any tone section to form a "tone program (Tone Equations, TEq.) ". In other words, each key on the telephone keypad can trigger the corresponding Π tone program -... Description of Invention (f) In the above, each tone program representing one of the 12 DTMF tones is quite complicated, and includes the Information from the tone sections. In particular, each of the 12 tones includes an overlap of two different frequency tones. A memory (not shown) that the speech synthesis processor can contain is used to store the tone program. Next, the operation of the device in FIG. 4 will be described. The user of the device first enters the selection of his phone number and / or the selection of his voice by pressing a button or the like. Examples of device boxes are shown in Figures 2 and 3, which will be described in detail later. The user activates a key or a sequence of keys to control the processor 34 to activate the tone and / or speech program. For example, if the phone number to be dialed is "555-1212" (taken from the telephone search), the user may press the existing button corresponding to the number to dial. If a banquet name has been stored in a discourse program, SEq, in the memory, but lacks a phone number, the user can output the name of a banquet after dialing by the retrieved number, so the user can correspond Press the other key (or a sequence of keys) of the broadcast party name. After pressing the key to dial out the search auxiliary number, the address of each tone program, representing the tone of each Arabic numeral, will be connected by wiring. 36 is output from the processor 34 to the memory 32. For example, assuming that the Arabic numeral "5" is represented by the tone program TEqfh + h + TVhTeTs, and the address signal is continuously sent to the memory 32 to retrieve the T4, T2, T5 * 2, etc. data. Arabic numbers for other phone numbers have the same procedure. The retrieved data is supplied to the processor 34 through the wiring 38 to be output to the speaker assembly 40 by the amplifier 28 and the driving transistor 42. 7 This paper music scale is applicable to the national standard (CNS) A4 specification (210X297 mm) -------- 1¾ clothing -------- II --------. ^ (Please read the Note: Please fill in this page again.) 461210 [793twf. Doc / Jimmy / 005 A7 B7 Printed by the Economic Consumers' Bureau of China Standards Bureau Employee Consumer Cooperatives 5. Description of Invention (6) After dialing the selected phone number to output the tone, the processor 34 then outputs the address signal corresponding to the activated speech program to retrieve the stored speech signal data. This procedure is basically similar to the operation of the tone signal retrieval described above. It should be particularly noted that the 'processor 34 may delay the output of speech data to the speaker module 40' to allow sufficient time for the telephone connection. In other examples, the user presses the button according to the phone number, and the corresponding party name is played in the user's ear, so the user can immediately recognize whether the call was made correctly. In this example, a depressed key activates both the tone and speech program in the processor 34. The aforementioned speaker assembly 40 is an external driving device, including a driving transistor 42, and its basic signal source is the amplified tone and speech data supplied from the amplifier 28. The ground Vs is connected to the emitter of the transistor 42 and the amplifier 44 having the voltage Vd is connected to the collector of the transistor 42. In addition, the speaker unit 40 may be an internal driving device. FIG. 5 illustrates a speech and tone generating device 50 according to a second embodiment of the present invention. The device 50 is similar to the device 30 in FIG. 4, in addition to an original first speech synthesis processor 56 and a first memory 52, it further includes a second speech synthesis processor 66 and a second Memory 70. Of course, the first and second speech synthesizers 56 and 66 can also be connected to a single memory chip at the same time, and need not be connected to the opposite first and second memories, respectively. The advantage of having an additional processor and a freely selectable additional memory is that it saves storage space. In particular, with reference to Figure 4, each tone program can represent one of 12 DTMF tones, so it must be 8 (please read the notes on the back before filling this page) This paper standard is based on Chinese standards (CNS) M specifications (2 丨 GX297) Chu Yinfan, Consumer Co-operation, Central Standards Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Du Yinfan 6 12 10 1793twf.doc / Jimmy / 005 A 7 B7 V. Description of Invention (7); There are 12 tone programs However, in the embodiment of FIG. 5, only 7 (different from Π) tone programs need to be stored. Especially, each phone key tone on a DTMF keypad is based on the frequency tone of a key row and One key line frequency tones are obtained. Therefore, since there are only four columns and three rows of keys on the phone keypad, only 7 tone programs need to be stored, which saves storage space. For example, suppose the Arabic numeral " 5 "is output, because" 5 "is located in the second column and second row of the telephone keypad, the tone output in the second column will be combined with the tone output in the second row to output the Arabic numeral" 5 " Tone. In other words, relative to 12 Only one tone program is output in the tone (refer to the description of FIG. 4 above), and two of the 7 tones are output here. The tone program TEq representing the four keypad rows is preferably stored in the first processor 56 And the tone segment data TN is stored in the first memory 52; similarly * indicates that the tone programs of the three keypad rows are preferably stored in the second processor 56 and the tone segment data is stored in the first memory 52. Two memories 70. To control the start-up processor 56 or 66, a controller 60 is connected to the first processor 56 through a connection 58 and to the second processor 66 through a connection 64. Therefore, if the device The user presses the number key "5", a signal sent from the input 62 is supplied to the controller 60 to synthesize the output tone data, and the corresponding columns 2 and 2 are output from the corresponding first and second processors. Line 2 〇 With regard to the discourse data, the data can also be divided into the first and second processors / memory for storage according to the requirements of the programmer. Description of the invention (S *) The representative speech is stored And background speech. Therefore, the background sound data can be all stored in the first memory 52, and the utterance data can be all stored in the second memory 70. The output tone and speech signal data from the first processor 56 and the second processor 66 are supplied to the amplifier 76 through the opposite cables 72 and 74 before the data is output to the speaker 80. In contrast to the external speaker device 40 shown in Fig. 4, the speaker 80 is connected to the amplifier 76 by an internal drive system. However, it can also be replaced by an external drive. The operation of FIG. 5 above is the same as the case of FIG. 4 except that the data output is performed by two processors. Figures 2 and 3 are diagrams of two dialing device boxes completed according to the method of the present invention. It is not difficult to understand that many other embodiments can also be completed by the method of the present invention. Fig. 2 shows a portable dialer 20 having a speaker cover 22 and a keypad 24, which represents a DTMF keyphone assembly in a conventional telephone. In this embodiment, the user can replace the selected number by pressing the phone number that he wants to dial and stored in advance, for example, dial "#" and then add one or two-digit numeric keys. In addition, the user can activate a pre-stored utterance synthesis message, for example, pressing down and adding one or two digits to indicate the selected message. As discussed above, the name of the banquet corresponding to the selected phone number will be broadcast before or immediately after the tone indicating that the dialed code is output by the device. In addition, an LCD display (not shown) (Illustrated) on the dialer 20 to copy the output tone and speech data.
