439020 五、發明說明(1) 本案係一種具時區顯示之時鐘機芯,尤指一種藉由旋 轉時區調整環至所欲時區位置,可令時針產生相對位移, 使時間顯示板直接顯示當地時間。此外,本案機芯内進一 步包括一晝夜顯示裝置,俾顯示當地時間之晝夜。同時, 本案尚具有一鬧鈴設定裝置,俾於使用者所預設時間之告 知〇 隨著交通及通訊之發達,使得國際間的交流亦日益頻 繁,跨國之交往也曰趨普遍,基於資訊傳達以及時差等因 素,所以,可同時顯示其他時區之時鐘(亦即所謂之世界 鐘)乃應運而生。 而習知之世界鐘,最常見者,乃在於鐘面上印製世界 地圖,然後再按圖索驥查看時間,此種方式之缺失在於鐘 面過於繁雜,在視覺認知與傳達上,不符合人體工學。 如美國第4, 972, 392號專利所揭示之世界鐘,其係採 用12小時機芯並同步以皮帶外接一時區地圖,再對應其上 配置24小時等分之時環。唯這種方式之缺點在於,其係以 皮帶帶動,會產生摩擦損耗,進而使準確性受到影響;同 時,2 4小時之分針顯示亦有判讀習慣上之困難。 另以一種簡易型之世界鐘為例,其係以一 2 4小時機芯 為時間顯示,其鐘面周緣嵌合一 24時區具代表性之城市名 稱之時區環。當旋轉該時區環内之本地城市對應於當地時 間,即可推算出其他時區内相關城市之時間。而其缺失在 於,所使用的機芯必需為24小時,同時吾人在調整時區環 時,由於其與鐘面之間並無定位結構,故使用一段時曰439020 V.
