Abstract

Disclosed is a vacuum cleaner where a suction body is rotated by a user through the operation of an at-hand handle body. The object of this invention is to provide a vacuum cleaner excellent in ventilating efficiency and noise reducibility, while providing simpler constitution of a good assembling property such that, when a suction body is rotated by operation of an at-hand handle body or when a place of low height is to be cleaned, the presence of a suction hose does not at any hindrance. The solution of this invention discloses a nozzle main body that is rotated relatively to a connecting pipe via a joint pipe member by rotating an at-hand handle body. In this case, the at-hand handle body includes a first pipe body for connection to the connecting pipe, a grip portion integrated with the first pipe body, and a second pipe body rotatably connected to the first pipe body and having a suction hose connected thereto.
