Abstract
In a piezoelectric transformer having a primary vibrator section polarized in a first direction and a secondary vibrator section polarized in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and towards the primary vibrator section, the second direction is oriented outwards in a longitudinal direction of the piezoelectric transformer. A signal source is connected to the primary vibrator section at a destination side of the first direction to supply a drive signal. The primary vibrator section is connected to ground at an origin side of the first direction. Alternatively, in the piezoelectric transformer having the primary vibrator section polarized in the first direction and the secondary vibrator section polarized in the second direction perpendicular to the first direction and away from the primary vibrator section, the second direction is oriented inwards in the longitudinal direction. The signal source is connected to the primary vibrator section at the origin side to supply the drive signal. The primary vibrator section is connected to ground at the destination side.
