Abstract

This invention is about a fulcrum apparatus that can be used on portable computers, comprising of fulcrum bearing and a fulcrum holder. The fulcrum holder is located at the rear edge of the main computer casing, that carries a CPU, which is used to hold the LCD display panel connected to the portable computer by the fulcrum bearing. Under this arrangement, the display panel can be connected to the main casing while allowing the display panel to rotate its position or lifting of the display panel to open up the portable computer. The fulcrum holder includes a lower support bracket and a side support bracket. The lower bracket is fixed on the side of the display panel, being positioned vertically over the side support bracket, which is fixed on the lower part of the main casing. In another embodiment of this invention, the support bracket is hooked on the side panel of the display panel.
