Abstract
The present invention relates to a fluorescent display device and a method for manufacturing the same, which can reduce the dead space of the display screen and thus reduce the number of parts to achieve the target of lowering cost. The fluorescent display device of the present invention forms a band of anodes 7 having fluorescent bodies with predetermined spaces on the surface of the substrate 2 of the box-structured shield 1. At two ends of the surface of the substrate 2, there are covered with insulated and crystalline convex-striped grid spacers between the sideboard 4 forming the shield and the most outer anode 7, wherein the grid spacers are parallel to anodes 7. A plurality of metal-line grids 9 contact the surfaces of grid spacers with their both ends at a constant distance H between metal-line grids and anodes 7. And said metal-line grids are installed on the substrate 2 within the shield 1 with predetermined spaces at the opposite side of anodes 7.
