A discharge current control apparatus of an air conditioner and method thereof including an operation control unit for controlling keys so that the air discharged can be supplied to areas where an air conditioning is to be carried out, a control unit for controlling a wind direction and a wind amount of the discharged air according to a key control of the operation control unit, a wind direction control unit for controlling a wind direction of the discharged air according to the control of the control unit, and a wind amount control unit for controlling a wind amount of the discharged air according to the control of the control unit.
