Abstract

A kind of battery monitoring system for temperature change of battery, discharging amount of battery and the precise residual capacity of charged battery of the discharged amount from main apparatus. The battery capacity measuring device comprises the microprocessor, battery set, battery temperature detection circuit, battery voltage detection circuit and current load detection circuit. The microprocessor is connected with the main apparatus of the portable computer. The main apparatus comprises the display for residual capacity of battery and the DC/AC converter and the charger connected to AC commutator. The microprocessor calculates the residual capacity of detected battery voltage and modify the residual capacity according to the temperature signal and current load signal. In such case, the final residual capacity can be sent to main apparatus to display the residual capacity of the battery.
