Abstract

Disclosed is a keyboard with a simplified structure, which is adapted to a main computer having a microcomputer which a key map is implemented in and which generates a first and a second scanning signals and receives a first or a second scan code upon a key on the keyboard to be pushed down. The keyboard comprises a first and a second keyboard frames separated from each other, and a first key matrix assigned to the first keyboard frame, for generating the first scan code in response to the first scanning signal, and a second key matrix assigned to the second keyboard frame, for generating the second scan code in response to the second scanning signal.
