Abstract

The invention relates to a method for direct communication of hand sets between a responding end hand set and a call end hand set in compliance with DECT. The present invention, according to DECT protocol, provides a method for two hand sets communicating with each other without the assistance of a base station, therefor incorporating a cordless intercom function to the cordless hand set. Furthermore, together with the original design and some power-saving functions design of the DECT system, the DECT hand set maintains the quality and duration of communication time of a cordless hand set when the DECT hand set is used as a cordless intercom.
