Abstract
This invention relates to an organic solvent type coating composition, which can form a coating having an excellent fouling resistance over a long time after coating at the outdoors, characterized in that comprising (A) a coating film-forming resin consisting of a bade resin selected from polyester resin, acrylic resin, fluorine resin and silicone resin, and a crosslinking agent of melamine resin and/or blocked polyisocyanate compound; (B) a hydrophilic polymer fine particles consisting of (a) 2-40 wt% of hydrophilic monomer having at least one of polymerizable double bond, polyoxyalkylene chain or polyvinylpyrrolidone chain in molecule, represented by the following formula (2), (wherein R4 and R5 and R6 are the same or different, each represents hydrogen atom or methyl group; R7 represents -OH, -OCH3, -SO3H or SO3M+, wherein M+ represents Na+, K+, Li+, NH4+ or organic ammonium group; n is an integer of 10-200, and each R6 in (formula) is the same or different), (b) 40-97 wt% of at least one of (meth)acrylamide monomer selected from the compounds represented by the following formula (1), (wherein R1 is hydrogen atom or methyl group; R2 and R3 are the same of different, each represents hydrogen atom or C1-5 alkyl group, with the proviso that the total carbon atom number or R2 and R3 is less that 5), (c) 1-30 wt% of at least one of crosslinkable unsaturated monomer selected from a compound having more than 2 of polymerizable unsaturated double bond in a molecule, and a compound having at least one of functional group selected from hydrolyzed silyl group and one polymerizable unsaturated double bond in a molecule, and (d) 0-50 wt% of other monomer having one polymerizable unsaturated group in a molecule, except the above-mentioned (a), (b) and (c); and (C) a solvent, at least 70% of which is organic solvent; wherein a weight ratio of said coating film-forming resin (A)/said hydrophilic polymer fine particles (b) is 50/50-98/2, and the amount said solvent (C) is 30-90 wt% based on the total amount of the coating film-forming resin (A), the hydrophilic polymer fine particles (B) and the solvent (C).
