Abstract

The invention provides a method for forming a pipe end assembly, particularly to a process without soldering and multiple-step processing, which essentially comprises a single pressing and extruding process to assemble an end assembly having a housing on the periphery of a pipe body; in which the upper and lower of the housing on the pipe body separately form an expansion ridge and an annular protrusion at the initial stage of processing. During the intermediate stage, the annular expansion continue to grow thereby forming an annular flange. The pipe body between the expansion ridge and the assembly also shows an annular protrusion. During an end stage, the annular protrusion merges with the expansion ridge enlarged through outwardly rolling, thereby forming an insertion annular ring and fastening the pipe end assembly between the insertion annular ring and an annular protrusion, so as to complete the single pressing and extruding process, and greatly reducing the working process and cost.
