Abstract

To provide a breast cup-bearing underwear designed to retain the voluminous feeling of and afford the nice roundness of the breast through pushing out the bust and raising it high and also have such trimming function as to afford esp. the sides with slender and neatly slim feeling with the flesh of the breast not bulging out on the sides or above. This underwear is so designed that the portion (a1)12 close to the periphery of the upside of a breast cup 1 and the portion (b1)13 close to the periphery of the side ranging from its upside to the vicinity of the lowermost point 3 of the verge line are made of a material with relatively low compressibility, while nearly intermediate portions (c)14 containing the top 2 as the remaining portion is made of a flexible material with relatively high compressibility, and a pair of side presses 18 each made of compressible polyurethane foam and/or binder-free compressible nonwoven fabric are further attached to such portions that a back cloth 17 comes into contact with the sides of the body.
