Abstract

A method of determining collision in a virtual space for determining whether there is a collision between a first object and a second object in the virtual space, the first object having a first range frame defined by a first minimum end-point and a first maximum end-point, the second object having a second range frame defined by a second minimum end-point and a second maximum end-point, which comprises the following steps: storing the coordinates of the first minimum end-point, the first maximum end-point, the second minimum end-point, the second maximum end-point, in a memory thereby constituting a collision determination range of the first object and the second object in the virtual space; separately grabbing and comparing the corresponding coordinates of the first minimum end-point and the second minimum end-point, combining the larger coordinates therein into a first determination end-point; separately grabbing and comparing the corresponding coordinates of the first maximum end-point and the second maximum end-point, and combining the smaller coordinates therein into a second determination end-point; and separately comparing the corresponding coordinates of the first determination end-point and the second determination end-point.
