A process for producing styrene resin, comprising the two steps below the first step: under the presence of rubber emulsion of butadiene, obtaining the emulsion of rubber graft copolymer of average particle size of 0.05~0.8 mu by graft polymerization of styrene monomer and nitrilized ethylene monomer, and obtaining powder rubber graft copolymer (A) through condensation, dehydration and drying; the second step: under the presence of the aforesaid rubber graft copolymer (A) at 0.1~6 wt% and acrylic copolymer (B) at 0.1~10 wt%, carrying out continuous lump and/or solution copolymerization of 80~45 wt% styrene monomer , 15~50 wt% nitrilized ethylene monomer and optionally, 0~40 wt% copolymerizable monomers (monomers totalling 100 wt%), when transformation of polymerization reaction reaches 40~90 wt%, removing unreacted monomers and volatile part of the copolymer solution by devolatilization to produce semi-transparent styrene resin containing less than 5 wt% rubber.
