A process for producing a lens, which comprises accurately placing a preform made of an optical glass on a lower mold core, and heating to 500℃ to 600℃, and closing the mold and pressing it into an optical lens with a desired accuracy; in which during the process, the surface of the mold is electroplated with a protective film to ensure that the surface of the ultra-accurate mold core will not be damaged during the high temperature manufacture; the produced high quality optical lens is made with an anti-reflective film thereon to mass produce a high quality optical lens having a diameter less than 10mm and a non-spherical curvature.
