Abstract

A machining jig for threading or drilling, which comprises a tool for threading or drilling and is supported on the tail stock of a lathe or the main spindle of a drill press for threading or drilling a workpiece supported on the spindle of the lathe or the platform of the drill press; which is characterized in comprising: a jig mainbody, a holder, an attachment, and a torque limiting means; the jig mainbody being supported on the tail stock of a lathe or the main spindle of a drill press to be movable to the axial direction; the holder being provided with insert holes on the front side in the axial direction for mounting an attachment, and provided with an insert portion on the rear side thereof for inserting the jig mainbody; the holder being installed into being removable from the jig mainbody and having a single slit cut through from the outside to the inside and a clamping hole going through the slit formation part thereby adjusting the slit gap by a clamping element; the attachment being provided with a tool support located on the front side in the axial direction for supporting the threading or drilling tool, and an installation part located on the rear side in the axial direction for mounting the insertion holes fastened on the holder; the torque limiting means fixing the attachment to the holder not to be relatively rotatable and allowing the relative rotation of the attachment to the holder when a preset value of torque works.
