Abstract

An apparatus for making scraped-ice characterized in comprising: a cooling cylinder: maintaining the surface thereof below the freezing point, and, while rotating, forming an ice layer having a specified thickness on the surface thereof; an ice-scraping mechanism: installed in contacting the surface of the cooling cylinder for scraping the ice layer formed on the surface of the cooling cylinder; and a raw water supply mechanism: having a raw water supply assembly consisting of two side face parts and the front face part, in which the edge portions of the two side face parts and the edge portion of the front face part water-tightly contact with the outer periphery of the cooling cylinder; and a raw water supply pipe for supplying water to the space formed by the raw water supply assembly and the outer periphery of the cooling cylinder.
