A heating apparatus in which, the output voltage of thermister is compared respectively with the reference value, which is used for detecting the overheating stage via comparison circuits and the reference value which is used for detecting the disconnection state of thermister via comparison circuit while alternatively switching the resistance of resistance circuit connected with thermister for detecting the temperature of the heated object at each specified time; when the detection signal of overheat state detected by comparison circuits or the detection signal of the disconnection state detected by the comparison are continuously outputted for a longer time than the specified time, it will output stop instruction signals from delay circuits to stop the operation of the heating source.
