Abstract
A method for screening a panel of a color CRT, which at least comprises the following steps: depositing a black matrix on the inner surface of a faceplate according to a predetermined pattern; electrostatically charging the faceplate deposited with the black matrix; forming a photo fixation layer on the faceplate formed with the black matrix, the photo fixation layer being made of a material which will exhibit an adhesive property when subject to light; charging the faceplate to an appropriate electric potential; exposing the charged faceplate so that the predetermined pattern can maintain a surface electric potential; developing a first phosphor particles (I.e. red phosphor particles) which has been charged to an identical or opposite electric potential to the residual surface electric potential on the faceplate, so as to form a first phosphor layer; repeating the charging to developing steps on at least second and third phosphor layers; which is characterized in that: light is emitted on the photo fixation layer so that the photo fixation layer exhibits its adhesive property in order to fix the developed phosphor layer.
