Abstract

A method for network communication to reduce interruption times, it can calculate interval time in between packets during the network interface card receives a series packets transferred from transferring line. When the interval time is smaller than pre-setting gap value, the packet will be set into back to back packet. And when receiving a back to back packet, it is not immediately generating interruption. It can accumulate the back to back packet till reaching to pre-setting amount. It will send out interrupting signal to CPU of computer to generate interruption. When it is not reaching accumulating amount, if the interval time of packet received by network interface card is bigger than pre-setting gap value, it is ending the burst packet composed by a series back to back packet. At this time, the network interface card will immediately send out interruption signal to CPU of computer to generate interruption, and processing burst packet at once.
