Abstract
A processing method for an electronic account-transfer device utilizes an object-oriented structure, i.e. all matters are processed as independent objects. This device is at a "waiting-for-object" state in normal times. Once an object enters, this device will ask the connected devices (such as a cash register) whether there are other objects. If there are no other objects, the device displays a message on a monitor requesting the customer to input necessary objects one by one; if there are other objects, the device will proceed processing jobs once all objects arrive. After finishing processing, the device returns to the "waiting-for-object" state. This allows account- transfer data input to either a cash register or an account-transfer device, such that the input process is simplified, the maintenance of software is strengthened, and software remote maintenance operation is accomplished.
